It's been a few weeks since our wedding and I just wanted to say not only were they the best wedding band I've ever heard, but they were some of the best musicians I've ever witnessed--- Literally every single person who attended has brought up how incredible they all were. We're fielding compliments left and right AND THE BEST PART, at least for me, was that I requested they play two songs that are not typically in their setlist---songs with complex brass and percussion arrangements and plenty of room for each musician to rip solos---AND THEY KILLED IT, made the songs their own, and absolutely brought the house down. Holy moly, I wish I had a live recording of it to relive. Jay, Illeana, everyone at AEN and Soulville, I'd get married again just to book them once more. read more

The moment American Events Network starts playing, you can feel the energy in the room change. They have a wonderful ability to read the crowd and create the perfect atmosphere for every part of the celebration. Whether it's an emotional first dance or a full dance floor, they always know exactly what the moment calls for. Just as wonderful is the team behind the music. They're professional, easy to work with, and keep the celebration flowing effortlessly. I always enjoy working with American Events Network and would happily recommend them to any couple. read more

Soulville blew our expectations out of the water. We hired them for our wedding at the Hotel del Coronado, and the overwhelming response from our guests was that the band was the highlight of the night. By the end we were up on stage jumping around with them, crowdsurfing, and the whole room was singing every word back at the band. We have a photo of it that we'll treasure forever (attached). They were worth every penny. If we had to do it all over again, we would 100% book them again. Couldn't recommend them more highly. read more

Soulville brought the absolute best energy to our wedding. They are unbelievably talented- the vocals, the instrumentals, the song choices, everything was incredible. So many guests came up to us during and after the wedding to say they were the best band they had ever heard at a wedding. People truly did not leave the dance floor, and by the end of the night they were literally screaming for an encore. The band could have played all night and everyone would have stayed. They did such an amazing job reading the room, playing songs that matched the energy, and taking into account what we wanted while still keeping the party moving. They came into the crowd, interacted with us and our guests, and made the whole night feel so alive and personal. We had them come from LA to San Francisco because they are just that worth it. We would recommend them to absolutely anyone. They were one of the biggest highlights of the entire wedding! read more

We hired American Events Network for our wedding in San Juan Capistrano and they were absolutely amazing. We used the 6 piece Soulville California band and the dance floor was packed the entire night. They played a good mix of old and new songs and had a huge selection of songs for us to choose from. People still come up to me saying how amazing the band was and how good the vocalists were. read more

I wish I could give Soulville 100 stars! I hired them for my son's school gala, and Jay was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. I was pretty specific about what we were looking for and our budget, and Jay helped us determine what the best band size + configuration would be within our parameters. They were professional, incredibly entertaining, got everyone dancing, and even stayed to play one last encore song because all our guests wanted more. We had a 5-piece band, and while I wish we could have had to full 10+ person band, these 5 made it feel like no one was missing, and it was the best experience EVER. All band members are so incredibly talented on their own, and SO much fun to watch together. We had multiple parents reach out for their contact information following the gala, and I cannot wait to use them again. Thank you AEN! read more

Hiring a band for my wedding was a big priority and a big line item (cost) within my budget. I admittedly wasn't the easiest client in the beginning as it was difficult for me to sign my first wedding contract. Glen and his team were patient and helpful from start to finish. They are so easy and delightful to work with! As my first wedding vendor, it helped set the tone for my 10 months of planning. THANK YOU! They provide you with a long list of songs for you to give them insight on what you like vs dislike, which was helpful. They were even open to us sharing a Spotify playlist to give them an idea of what we liked for the band vs DJ set. Soulville also learned 3 songs for us, for our first dances, and performed them excellently! I hired Soulville for my wedding cocktail hour and reception. For the cocktail hour I had a Keyboard + Sax, which really helped to set the ambiance and was appreciated by all guests (lots of complements). The guests were ushed from from part of my venue to the next in part by the fun sounds of the 10 piece band. (Note: I wanted a big band, but learned Soulville is very flexible on the size you can hire.) From start to finish, the only way to get our wedding to stop dancing, was when Soulville politely asked people to be seated for events like first dances and speeches. Based on experience, I recommend hiring them for more time than less - we extended them an hour because our guests were enjoying their energy so much! Following the band, their DJ set did not disappoint! The band was full of collective and individual personality, which is part of what makes them so great. They engaged the audience from stage and on the dance floor, which we all loved. Their range was incredible - pop, country, hip hop, classics... you name it they did it, which blew away our guests! They really read the room from start to finish. They had a HUGE impact on our event. The number of texts, calls and emails from our venue, guests and wedding spectators has been overwhelming, and for GREAT reason. We will definitely refer them again and again, and hire them for any of our future needs - big or small event. I could go on and on, with how blown away we were by this group! THANK YOU AEN / SOULVILLE!!! (Pictures to come later when I get them from my photographer) read more

Soulville, DJ Keyara Jade and the whole AEN group up-leveled our wedding entirely. They are incredible creative partners. My wedding planner and I threw them a couple of challenges - coordinating and helping produce a fireworks show at the end of cocktail hour, orchestrating a one of a kind entrance/introduction and working together on a highly specific set list for the ceremony accompaniment, reception band and after party DJ to work from. every single meeting we had was collaborative, engaging and informative. The 9 piece band we had truly blew us away - almost every single one of our guests commented on how exceptionally talented the group was and how impressive their performance was throughout the evening. I was very particular about the kind of reception vibe we cultivated together and they executed the vision absolutely perfectly. our wedding was an incredible success largely in part to this group's incredible commitment and talent. I cannot thank AEN enough for helping bring my dream wedding to life! read more

Best band EVER!!! Not only are they extremely talented, but they are the kindest most accommodating group. They learned multiple songs for us and even learned a new song the week before the wedding when I changed the father/daughter song. They got everyone dancing all night long and are so FUN. So many people asked who our band was once our wedding was over so they can use them in the future. Highly recommend them!!! read more

What a band!!! We hired Soulville for our wedding and they really made the entire night! A few friends had seen them at other weddings, so we knew we had to hire them. The dance floor was full the entire night, which was exactly what we wanted for our wedding. Young, old - they appealed to everyone! The singers and the musicians were all amazing. Almost every person at the wedding, including other vendors, commented on how amazing the band was. Without them, the night would have been completely different. We cannot thank Soulville enough for the energy, entertainment, and excitement they brought to the night. They really made our wedding a perfect evening. Would 1000% recommend them for any event that you want a hopping dance floor! read more

If you want everyone to stay on the dance floor until they turn off the lights, hire Soulville. They performed at our daughter's wedding a couple of weekends ago and I mean PERFORMED. They were dancing, singing and playing on the stage and on the dance floor and got everyone involved. People came up to us all night asking where we found the band and we are still getting texts saying how great they were. Our daughter also loved their DJ at her after party and said she played the perfect music to keep everyone dancing. I've been to a lot of weddings and this is the best band we've ever seen. read more

If I could give them 10 stars I would! Soulville far exceeded a "great" rating. They hands down made our wedding an unforgettable party. AT one point the power went out and for a moment and the band didn't skip a beat. We danced the entire night and paid for an extra hour at the end of the evening because we just couldn't stop. Like any bride, I was beyond stressed and overwhelmed planning a wedding for the first time ever. Glen, Ileana and Jay were always super quick to respond and spent more time on the phone answering my questions than any of my other vendors. A live 10 piece band isn't cheap, it was a big chunk of our wedding budget, but I swear if I had to do it all over again right now knowing what I know, I would pay double!! Thank you all for the best wedding ever!! read more

If we could give AEN 100 stars we would!!! My husband and I hired Soulville for our NYE 2022 wedding and they were the absolute BEST part of the entire night!! I saw them at another friend's wedding and was blown away, so I knew they were the ones we had to hire. Every guest (young and old!) was dancing nonstop from the moment the doors opened until the final song. The vocalists are another level, the musicians are sensational! The sound guy constantly adjusted the sound from his iPad and it was perfect. The band's rendition of "Shout" was one of the highlights of the night. Soulville also performed our bridal entrance song "Can't Help Falling in Love" and absolutely knocked it out of the park -- every guest was in tears because the moment was so beautiful. Many of our friends and family have commented afterwards saying that it felt as if we were at a concert and that our wedding was the best party they had ever attended. On top of that, Glen, Ileana, and Jay were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. We can't wait to hire this extraordinary band again for another event in the future! read more

Soulville is everything you could possibly hope for in a wedding band. A month later & our guests are still raving over how much fun the dance party was. Huge thanks to Glen, Ileana & Jay for the great, easy communication in planning. And to the whole band for making it a dream night. read more

Soulville performed at our wedding this past weekend in Sun Valley, Idaho and I have one word: WOW! They were absolutely spectacular. Our three lead singers, Greg, Draeh and Jassen, are equally as talented as they are fun. From the moment our reception started, people were dancing, even through dinner. As the evening went on they kept bringing the energy (and even had wardrobe changes!) and our dance floor absolutely erupted. It was the most fun night of my life!! I loved how much they interacted with the crowd and even got in on wearing some of our dance floor props Hiring Soulville was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Their social media does not do them justice, but trust me, if you want to have a fun wedding, this is the band. Our guests have not stopped raving about them and many have said it was the best and most fun wedding they're ever been to. Need I say more? THANK YOU! We love you guys! 10/10 recommend hiring them! read more

Soulville put on an epic performance at our wedding. As a musician myself, I wanted to make sure that we had a band that was comprised of truly professional musicians. From start to finish, Soulville delivered an amazing show for us and all of our guests. One guest, who attends dozens of weddings each year, told us that they did the best hora he had ever heard. In addition, we arranged to have a DJ play for an extra hour at the end of the evening. We were expecting someone to just come and push play on an iPod, but DJ Aylexx did so much more and really closed out our party in the best way possible. Can't say enough good things about this band. read more

"Please don't stop! Keep playing!". That is how everyone at our wedding felt as Soulville performed. The energy that the band brought to the party was the best I've ever seen. Each performer was excellent and engaging. The different singers came down onto the dance floor throughout the night, and each time the already excited dance floor went to the next level. In a nutshell... the dance floor was packed all night (even when late night food came out). I'll admit my now-husband and I initially weren't happy that they played a few songs on our 'do not play list' however they read the room extremely well and the group loved the songs and performances so it worked out. Glen and Ileana were great to work with!! Highly highly recommend!! read more

Soulville (AEN) made our wedding! They had all of our guests up dancing the entire night. After the wedding every guest complimented the band and said how amazing they were. We hired AEN for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music. The music throughout the ceremony and cocktail hour was beautiful. Glenn is an expert at his job and we took his advice on instrument and music selections, everything turned out better than I could imagine. Ileana was also great to work with, very responsive to all of my questions and put together our music selections and scheduling. This band will bring your wedding to the next level and is worth every dollar. Months later, our guests are still talking about the band and the music. Without a doubt, they are a vendor you must book! read more

Two weeks later and people still can't stop talking about the band at our wedding. There were guests that never dance, who danced because of Soulville. I couldn't believe their range, and energy and ability to make sure everyone had the absolute best night. The best for me was when the lead singer casually pulled out a ukulele for the mother son song. SUCH INCREDIBLE TALENT. they are without a doubt the best choice we could have made. Thank you Soulville !!! read more

Soulville hands down made our wedding night. They brought amazing energy, are incredibly talented, and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. The team was so kind, attentive, and easy to work with leading up to our big day, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or event. read more

Talk about a Party. This band brings it all (including the kitchen sink)! Soulville played for Kara and I's wedding and we couldn't be happier with our selection. They were full of energy, interacted with the crowd, and brought the elegance a wedding deserves. Super talented artists that were able to play everything from your classics, Pony, Despecito to Bohemian Rhapsody. I also would like to give credit to the management group for being extremely accommodating and super easy to work with. This band will be worth every $ they ask for. read more

AEN is the best. From start to finish Glen and Ileana were a pleasure to work with on my daughter's wedding. My family and friends who attended the wedding last weekend all said, "Soulville is the best wedding band ever," led by the great Leroy. Our guests didn't stop dancing the entire night. No kidding, be sure to order a big enough dance floor! read more

These guys were absolutely amazing for my recent wedding in Orange County! The musical talent of the Souville band was out of this world and they brought so much energy and fun to my wedding. Sitting at the airport waiting to start our honeymoon, my fiancé and I were reflecting on our wedding this past weekend. Soulville Band was the highlight of the party. They were so energetic that even before we had the grand entrance people were already up on the dance floor! The energy did not stop throughout the night as the band interacted with guests to make everyone feel a part of our party. We have already been asked quite a few times for their contact info(which is how we found them-my cousin had them at her wedding). Even during the planning process, Ileana and Glen were helpful, response and accommodating(we changed the pace of a song for our first dance). Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

No wedding is complete without AEN (Soulville). Third daughter to get married and the first vendor booked for all three was this incredible band! Glen, Ileana, and Jay. What an amazing team to work with. Great communication and follow-through for contracts, scheduling and musical ideas. Santa Monica, Carmel and Santa Barbara, no matter the location they will be there, on time and ready to make your event epic. Sunshine, complete downpour, and even a pandemic, they will figure it out and with absolute confidence to make it happen. Greg Scott and each member of the band, gave 150% at each one of our events. You know it's a complete success when our guests ask if "our" band will be at the wedding! Our response, "Of course THEY will be there!" Thank you AEN for the amount of energy, enthusiasm and professionalism you contributed from the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Our dance floor was packed the entire evening. The one thing that your guests always remember is THE BAND! AEN-Soulville are simply the best! And Greg--thanks for singing Miracle! Amazing talent! read more

Thank you Soulville for making my daughter Lindsay's wedding reception on Saturday, November 19th, 2016 so memorable. You guys rocked all night! My wife loves to dance all night. I usually dance a few times, but Saturday night I danced all night! Everyone danced all night. Please thank each and every band member for me. Saturday was one of the greatest days of my life. Guys, plain and simple, Soulville is the best wedding band in all of Los Angeles. I did an insane amount of research and met with multiple bands before making my decision. I'm a musician (on the side) so this was the most important part of the wedding for me. Not only can these guys play anything, but they also play so well, and with so much energy. Their stage presence is just as good as their musicianship. And the icing on the cake - they are less expensive than many of the high caliber bands in the area. If you care about having a live band, and you can afford it, you have to go with these guys. They will make your wedding into a party that people will be talking about for years after. Trust me - I know! read more

We used Soulville for our Santa Barbara wedding, and they were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. It has been weeks since the wedding, and I am still getting emails saying how wonderful everyone found them. I will never forget walking into the main dance area from getting my dress bustled, and there was not a person in their seats. The dance floor was packed, with people literally jumping and dancing like they were at a concert! The rest of the night went on just this way, we even had to make an announcement that, "Hey guys... there is a cigar bar, Photo Booth, smokes bar... anyone???" Once I joined the fun I did not leave the floor until our grand exit, and even saw my parents getting down to Suite & Tie (a complete first). I can not thank you enough guys, you were unreal! read more

We just had our wedding last weekend, and AEN - Soulville was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! They had such great positive energy the whole night, and they had the whole wedding dancing from the very beginning! Glen and Ileana were very accessible, communicative, and helpful leading up to the event. The small group that played during the ceremony and cocktail hour was fantastic, and the big band that played the reception was OUT OF THIS WORLD! They were so so so much fun, professional, polite, and accommodating. They played music that everyone at the wedding enjoyed and danced to (from 8 years old to 75 years old!), and they helped make it the best party it could have possibly been. Could not have asked for a better experience - thank you so so much! read more

Absolutely outstanding! We had a 7 piece band that was phenomenal. Glen worked within our budget, helped with our timeline because our wedding coordinator had no idea what she was doing, and gave exceptional advice. It was by far one of the best things about our entire wedding. Multiple guests were coming up asking where we found them. Most of the band members were out in the audience dancing and signing with the guests. Guests were on the stage- it was just amazing! I would highly recommend Glen and his band for any occasion, they will not disappoint & clearly know what they are doing. read more

Cannot say enough good things about Soulville Band. Worth every penny! They kept our party going non-stop -- the talent of each band member and their energy was just extraordinary! This is my first Yelp review and I'm writing it because the band we hired for my daughter's wedding last weekend was amazing! From the moment they started playing until the very end, the dance floor was full!!! Soulville not only played exceptionally well the songs we requested but read the crowd perfectly. The musicians were professional and the two singers voices were incredible! (Tons of compliments from our guests on the band.) I highly recommend Soulville! read more

I can't recommend AEN highly enough. Their band, Soulville did an incredible job at our wedding. The wedding music was the most important aspect of the party for me, and we required a band that could play a wide range of styles and genres, as my family is traditional Jewish and my wife's family is Chilean -- and Soulville delivered on every front. They were able to play a fantastic, authentic hora, as well as Latin pop, and of course top 40, funk, disco, and rock and roll. Glen, Ileana, and Jay were fantastic to work with, highly communicative, and sensitive to our specific needs. Glen made sure to get us a special vocalist who could sing the Hebrew/Jewish music authentically, and their Latin singers are actually Latin, and aren't faking their way through the Spanish lyrics. We did quite a lot of research on SoCal wedding bands, and you will by far get the most bang for your buck with Soulville (plus an hour of DJ provided by Jay, at the end of the night). read more

Working with Glen and Ileana was a dream!!!! The most talented and amazing couple ever! Our daughter's wedding was magical because Glen and Ileana assembled the most fantastic group of musicians and singers we have ever heard!!!! The guitarist who played latin music during cocktail hour was perfection! If I had to score the band on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, the band was a 100... and I mean that sincerely!!! The dance floor was packed until the end of the wedding at 1 a.m.!!!! We are forever grateful to AEN for creating a party that never stopped until the last song was played!!!! read more

The Soulville band is AMAZING!!!! Music was a very important part to our wedding as the band sets the tone and energy in the room. They exceeded our expectations beyond what we could have ever hoped for. I did not step off the dance floor once we were done with dinner and the night ended too soon!!!! The band had to learn our first dance and I kept on having to look to see if the real artists were on stage. AEN completely MADE my wedding! So many people have said that our wedding was the best that they had ever been to. And the band was a HUGE reason why. So many people at our wedding said that it was better than any concert they had ever been to. Not one moment did they let the energy of the crowd die and everyone was on the dance floor the ENTIRE reception. As a bride that was all I had ever wanted on my wedding day for it to be super fun. AEN has the best vocalists and instrumentalists. They had choreography for everything which kept everyone dancing. And they completely made the reception flow so that no one was bored at any given moment. They helped coordinate the timing of everything and made sure that there were no dead spaces. I am beyond thrilled at how AEN performed at my wedding. I will cherish the fun of my reception for the rest of life and will be forever grateful that they were a part of our special day. read more
