I'd give 10 stars for Stephen & his team at Epic Vibe Events if I could. Lengthy review because there aren't enough words to relive that night. When we were wedding planning, we narrowed down the top 3 things we'd splurge on, and it came down to music, food, and alcohol. Stephen was highly recommended by a lot of our friends who have attended his events. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was working with Epic Vibe Events. We met with Stephen once to give him an idea of our event. From the initial meeting, we knew he would be crucial to making our event... epic. LOL! We felt so at ease with him, we decided to book the Epic package with a few more add-ons. DJ booth with visuals (surprised us with our initials on the screen), MC, 360 photobooth, regular photo booth with prints, and uplighting... you name it, they have it all. We had a brief call with him 2 weeks before our event to finalize timeline and details. I appreciate his professionalism and the ease of communication - setting up meetings to having access to the client portal on their website and being able to process payments and view signed contracts. As a bride planning her own wedding, this gave me so much peace of mind. They came on time to set everything up and the event was seamless. Stephen and his team are amazing. To this day, I am still in awe of how he was able to get all 300 of our guests out of their seats and dancing at 7PM during dinner time, lights on, because literally no one was on their seats - seniors included! Our planner had a moment of panic when she was unsure of how to stop the party to do the speeches, but Stephen insisted that his team had no problem bringing it down and then building it back up again. Sure enough, he was right. The party did not stop until midnight. Everyone was vibing to the music and just wanted to dance. We trusted them to do their thing and it turned out amazing. Our guests could not stop talking about our event, it brought all of us back to our youth... we forgot that we were at a wedding because it felt like we were at a club with our friends. LOL. Our wedding happened last month in Fullerton, CA. Epic Vibe Events was more than amazing! Punctual, professional and accommodating! We signed up to have Stephen DJ with his team to set up the photo booth for our wedding. We, also, decided to have uplighting as well. DJ: We had music during the ceremony and reception. The music flowed nicely throughout the whole day & night. We had a few songs that we wanted to hear in particular and he was able to read the crowd and got the dance floor packed. Being in the industry, I've worked with quite a few DJ's and MC's but when I worked with Epic Vibe at an event, there was no hesitation as to who I was going to book for my own wedding. In the industry, I come across a lot of DJ's/MC's that are arrogant and think they run the show. But not this team here - they are the most humble and hardworking team ever! At a wedding I coordinated, the DJ was on top of the music even though the client provided their song choices last minute and had some last minute surprise musical performances. The DJ made it all happen! So of course with all timelines, weddings never run as scheduled. With the MC, Noel Zamora, he was able to accommodate every need. He always checked in with myself to see how timing was coming along but also checked in with the bride and groom just to see how they were doing. There were times where we had to stall and he was quick to come up with the perfect games to keep the guests engaged and entertained. Actually, his games became some of the most memorable moments of the wedding. Noel knows how to really interact with the guests but also works hand in hand with me with coordinating. At my wedding, Noel was quick to attend the walk thru and work with my venue and their strict guidelines. The private estate had a very complicated set up and had many restrictions/sound ordinances. We use Stephen and his team for our 6th Grade Promotions the last 3 years here at Niemes Elementary School and he has also been our DJ for a few of our 5th and 6th grade dances. We have enjoyed him every time and the students get so excited to have a real DJ at a school dance. I have known Stephen de la Rosa for quite some time now and he is an extraordinary man. He is a wonderful Dj, friend and father. I had the opportunity to have him DJ my wedding. Stephen met with us one time before the event and had us layout all our expectations for our reception in as much detail as possible so he could cater his service to our needs/wants. He also gave us to option to create a playlist of music, which we did. Before the event started, I told them to go off our playlist to start out but then gave them the freedom to do their thing and keep the party going. They nailed it. I got several compliments from friends and family saying they loved the music choice of the DJ and the professionalism of the MC. We had a few changes to our planned schedule during the event and they had no problem improvising and readjusting the plan.
