Your typical American Eagle store! Hosting a variety of different clothing options and styles. This is a great place to shop at without breaking the bank too much. This location can be easily found and is very open and inviting. The staff here are very friendly and will help you in any way they can. There are usually different deals and coupons you can use here that are very nice and help lower the price. I usually try to get the best deals while also purchasing things that I want. There is a changing room in the back that really helps when choosing and fitting clothes. There is a mirror and enough room. This is important so you know if a clothing item will look good/fit you. I have tried on many khakis and others clothes and have realized that some fit better than others. This isa must do unless you know for sure that certain clothes actually fits. This location is very good and has typical and sometimes atypical stock for American Eagle. Definitely shop here. You will have a good time.

This cardigan was just under $7 after discounts!

I got measured up and when I got up to the register I was shocked to see the price. It was double what Men's Warehouse charges (got married recently. I know how much they charge). I thought to myself, ok it's a small shop. I'm sure they make up for it with great customer service, something large corporations can't always do. Fast forward to August. I get a call late Wednesday night to come pick up my tux. I couldn't get there Thursday due to work, so I show up first thing Friday morning. I get handed my suit and get shuffled out the door. I request to try it on and that's where all the problems start. My jacket was like 4 sizes too small. The manager of the store begins his rant about how this is my fault because I didn't come in on Thursday. I tell him he needs to fix it and he said it won't be a problem because there's tons of material in the jacket. I took the rest of my crap suit and went home. I go back the morning of the wedding and "Moe" started looking for my jacket. I try it on and nothing was fixed. Moe confirmed my suspicions and told me it was my fault because I didn't come Thursday (again and again). I go through the wedding with a suit that was pilled and looked like it was dragged behind a pick up truck for a few miles. Of course I had to wear my tiny ass jacket that I couldn't button. I looked like Chris Farley wearing David Spade's jacket in Tommy Boy. Oh and on top of everything else, my shoes were two different sizes. Not shoe sizes, physical dimensions. One was about 3/4" too small. When I returned this sad excuse for a suit, I asked for a refund because services were not provided and I pretty much got told to go fuck myself. The manager walked out of the store right in the middle of a conversation. I spoke to the owner (I think?) and he said we would be getting an insulting amount of money back (which hasn't happened yet a week and half later) and they don't automatically give you back your deposit. How many people are they scamming for 40 bucks because they don't know better. Stay away and just go to Men's Warehouse. They have more resources and they give you a lot more time to make sure your suit or tux is right. These guys are just assholes. Plain and simple.

I remember shopping with them in the 1980s when LISA BIRNBACH, in her whimsical book THE OFFICIAL PREPPY HANDBOOK labeled JAB "the cheaper, mail order version of Brooks Brothers." Back then, that was a very valid comparison because JAB was a catalog mail only store. Sometime in the 1980s, they started opening stores up and down the East Coast of the USA and I was a happy camper. The traditional conservative suits, blazers and preppy clothing accessories were all available. Over the years, that all changed and started getting worse with each passing decade. They phased out all of the better-quality shoes. They got rid of corduroys in winter. The sweaters offered were no longer from Scotland, but from cheap sweat shops in China and Vietnam. However, JAB really went into the toilet almost immediately after they were purchased by MEN'S WEARHOUSE. The quality, garbage material and cut of the suits mimicked the cheap Italian styled Mafioso styles in the MEN's WEARHOUSE stores and the classic Navy Blue Blazers became dog-sh*t impersonations of what a decent Navy blazer should be. Now to the Denville, NJ store at The Shoppes at UNION HILL. This store is a train wreck and dumpster-fire all rolled into one. They never have standard sizes in Blazers or Suits and the last time I ventured into this store on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, there was just one employee working. After looking at their selection of Navy blazers and asking about a men's 42 Regular, I was told by the sole occupant of the store that he would have to order it. I informed him it was a VERY COMMON size. He just looked at me like I had two heads. I did a quick pass through looking for dress shirts and ALL they had were weird sizes in SLIM cut styling. Now, I'm not a big guy, and in fact, am fairly lean, but SLIM cut shirts are for very young men and the people who can't decide whether they are male, female or non-binary (and yes, I said it, so get over it). Jos. A. Bank used to be a GREAT men's store. Over the last 20 years, it's become a really pathetic excuse for a store grown men would want to shop in. As for the Denville, NJ location? My advice: STAY AWAY!
