It's been 7 months since last I set foot in a Soma and had a horrible experience. The only reason I…read morewent back was to see it the employees dropped their attitudes, and to pick up a bottle of lingerie wash since I couldn't find any in the entire mall. This review is very harsh because I've been treated this way since the store opened, whether I go in for myself or with a friend to help her find something. For starters, my bra size is larger than what Soma carries. If you're curious or don't believe me I wear a 36KK which is not even carried in the United States. Soma carries up to a 44G. Despite this fact, every time I walk into a Soma I get flagged down by an employee who tries to get me in one of their bras. If I tell them I can't fit into them, they'll smirk and give me a condescending attitude like they know my body better than I do. This time the employee (Her name was Mandy. I don't know the names of the other staff members that were rude but it was at least 6 employees) said word for word, "Well what size do you THINK you wear?" while rolling her eyes. Every time I've stepped into this store, an employee has insisted that I can fit into bras several cup sizes too small, and if I try one on to humor them they'll insist that it fits me even if my nipples are literally outside the bra. The one time I even showed her how my own bra fit and her only response was to sheepishly say that "It's just a European bra, it's different." Even though the only difference was the size, which I showed her by showing her the tag with UK and US size conversions. The employees also show a limited range of fitting information, including but not limited to: -Measuring customers over coats and clothing. True measurements should be taken over naked breasts or a thin shirt if the customer is shy. -Using a measuring tape with premarked sizes. This is inaccurate because bra sizes are a ratio. For example a bust circumference of 50 could be the following sizes (50A, 48B, 46C, 44D, 42DD, 40E, 38F, 36FF, 34G, 32GG, 30H, 28HH, 26J) These all have the same cup volume and bust circumference, but are spread out over wider or smaller torsos which affect fit. They also have completely different band tightnesses. Someone should be measured under their bust to get band size, and then over their bust to get the bust circumference. You then subtract bust and underbust and use the remaining number to count up the cups. For example an underbust of 30 and an overbust of 35 is a 30DD. -Not understanding sister sizes. For example 34G and 38F have the same cup volume but are a different proportion. If a customer asks for a 36C but finds the band too loose, a 34D might suit her better. They have no idea that cup sizes aren't static, and that a 32G is smaller than a 44G even though they have the same cup size. -Openly laughing or rolling their eyes when a customer says they wear a large size, as if the customer made it up. -Telling a customer that their bra size doesn't exist, boasting that they've never had problems fitting anyone into their bras so why can't you find a bra here? -Not knowing how balconette or full coverage styles are supposed to fit. No, my nipples are not supposed to be escaping a balconette. No, a full coverage bra should not have half my boobs out. -Telling the customer to "just go to Lane Bryant" when they finally understand that I can't fit into Soma bras. Lane Bryant doesn't carry my size either. I feel bad for all the women who have taken Soma employees' advice and purchased a bra there, because a staff as unknowledgeable and rude as theirs probably recommend the wrong sizes to so many women on a daily basis. Wearing the wrong bra size can cause a slew of physical and mental ailments, and should never be advocated by a sales team. As an aside, the lingerie wash works wonderfully. Their lingerie is beautiful. The environment is classy. When I could fit into their bras I loved them. If they either hired a more polite and more knowledgeable staff or carried a larger size range and taught the employees about it, I would shop there. Maybe not for bras, but for underwear and pajamas. I've contacted corporate about these above issues, and they just brushed me aside and said they'd look into it. Obviously a solution was not implemented. When I finish this bottle of lingerie wash, I will never shop at Soma again.

Considering I rotated 7 bras, this is totally unacceptable! It has been a year and my olgas are going strong....even added some more to the collection. These bras were very expensive and I definitely did not get my money's worth.

Every other retail that I've worked in the manager was always there organizing and cleaning the stores with their employees and jumps on register, this one is just plain lazy always sitting in the office. She also has her favorites and pays new employees more then the ones who been there

They…read morehave some really cute clothing, but beware it's more the quality of Rainbow and not high quality at all, but if you want a cute outfit reasonably priced this is your go to. Now why am I giving this Gabe's the 2 star treatment? My daughter goes to the bathroom within the first 5 minutes of us being there and comes out distressed. Why might you ask, because apparently the bathroom was a disaster! She said there was feces smeared on one toilet and when she entered the handicap stall she immediately slipped in a puddle of urine! Why in heck was this bathroom sooooo filthy?!?! Of course our shopping experience was over before it really started. My daughter grabbed and outfit off the rack she could change into and we proceed to the line where the manger was ringing people. My daughter explained what had happened and the manager appeared to be very apologetic and said she couldn't give her the outfit for free, but did discount it. Honestly, in this case it should have been free. One outfit is far less expensive then a lawsuit. What if that had been an elderly person? Or what if she had been seriously hurt? I get the feeling that they are short staff because as I said the manger was ringing up customers. Corporate there's a problem in this store. Fix it before you loose more customers. I definitely won't be back to this Gabe's.

If you need help in the dressing room - forget it. You wind up having to get new sizes yourself. Good quality and decent prices.

BEWARE! To say my experience was horrible, is a complete understatement. I went into the store to…read morereturn one shirt ($18.83) and exchange another shirt ($23.03) for a different size. Both shirts were bought online with a 30% off discount totaling $41.86. When the girl was checking me out she did the return and exchange all in one transaction. I left after receiving my receipt and a different sized shirt. It wasn't until I walked out of the store did I realize the cashier failed to return ALL of the money that was owed back to me ($18.83) for the shirt I returned. Instead, she only refunded me $8.96. Stunned that I was ripped off, I returned to the store and confronted another employee about the return. She then told me to wait for the same girl to checked me out before to return to the register. I then confronted her about the return and told her that she shorted me money on my card. She then tried to explain to me that she could NOT do an "even exchange" since I returned the shirt IN STORE and the price of the exchanged shirt would cost me the original price ($32.90)! Shocked that she failed to bother explaining this to me to begin with, I told her I would not like to keep the exchanged shirt since I was tricked into thinking I was actually getting an even price exchange. She then returned the shirt and told me that I could not receive the full $32.90 I was originally charged out of the returned items since an exchange would be "final sale". Somehow, she gave me back $8.96 when I returned the exchanged shirt (didn't make any sense to me at all). I told her it was unfair that she would cheat me out of the full amount of money I was owed. Her and the other employee did not fully understand how to return an online item for an even exchange and basically told me that they couldn't do anything else to resolve the situation! They failed to offer me any number for corporate, nor call a supervisor regarding the blatantly obvious issue. Both of the employees felt comfortable letting me walk out of the store ripped off and dissatisfied. I left and immediately called the Windsor customer service number and told the operator, Brianna, how poorly the entire situation was handled by both of the employees. Brianna immediately told me that the situation never should've occurred and worked hard to resolve it. I honestly would never shop at any other Windsor store after my poor experience if it wasn't for Brianna's help. Windsor has excellent quality clothes so to have this kind of an experience in their store was very disappointing for me. If you dare to enter this store and spend your money here (god help you), make sure the cashier gives you the right change/amount on your card back, and do not let these employees steal money from you. I'm sure I'm not the first customer they ripped off!
