Price was reasonable (about $260 all inclusive for 3 days) and service friendly. Since this is a congested suburban area, getting gas and finding the rental car return facility is not intuitive. Pro-tip: - Get gas on Bristol, where Irvine turns into Campus Drive. - Then drive north on Campus, staying left to get into John Wayne airport. - Drive slowly and look for rental car return signs. - The Alamo return is a long way inside the underground rental car facility, so drive slowly and carefully as you follow the signs. We came in with an issue that we had previously been unable to resolve through customer service or at another SIXT location. Vincent took the time to understand the situation and was able to resolve it for us. He also gave us genuinely helpful recommendations when choosing the right vehicle. He was professional, attentive, and extremely customer-focused throughout the entire process. We were very happy with the car and, more importantly, with the way everything was handled. Thanks to Vincent, what could have been a frustrating experience turned into a very positive one and left us with a great impression of SIXT overall. We will definitely choose SIXT again in the future. Thank you, Vincent, for the excellent service!

Disgustingly immoral and unethical business. Corporate Sixt has a long list of lawsuits against…read morethem for false damages claims, which I was also a victim of. Do NOT rent here. I rented a Volvo V60 here in January 2026 and returned it on time with no incidents. A few weeks later, Sixt billed me $394.88 for damage to the left rear wheel. The problem is Sixt's own paperwork. The checkout sheet I signed at pickup already lists scratches down to primer on two of the car's rims. The photos Sixt sent are close-ups of a rim with no timestamp and no view of the car, so there's no way to tell which wheel they show or when they were taken (if anything, the photo appears to show a mudflap on the side where it would sit on a passenger-side wheel, which is exactly where Sixt had already recorded damage.). The damage appraisal lists the car's mileage as 131 miles, while my rental agreement shows 16,532. They only notified via email, and if you miss the emails (because they go to spam like the rest of their spam) it goes to collections. I disputed the charge in writing several times and asked for timestamped photos, an inspection record, and a repair invoice. Sixt never produced any of it. Now on my credit report and I am dealing with the incredibly irritating process of getting it removed. Again, do NOT rent here. Terrible business who will cause you months of headaches either through plain incompetence or intentional maliciousness. If Sixt wants to actually do something about their disgusting behavior the damage claim is #9076914506 My advice if you DO rent here: before you leave the lot, take a timestamped video walking around the whole car, including close-ups of every wheel, and do the same when you return it. Don't rely on the checkout sheet to protect you.
