I was afraid of flying over the handlebars, dropping it at a stop light. 2 days later: I'm still terrified of motorcycles, but it's more of a respect for the power and danger of motorcycles. He arrived 20 minutes after having to call one of the students in the course to come get him. Before beginning the course, Chris was adamant that after 3 drops of the motorcycle, we are forced to reschedule which was odd considering the price we paid coupled with the fact that we heard from two different people who have taken the course previously that this had not been a rule during their previous course. Drops understandably happen during early training. Unfortunately, my mom and I ended up dropping twice during the first day and were both told we had to reschedule. Chris showed zero concern for how we were doing physically or emotionally after each drop. Rather than offering any advice to correct our errors, his focus was entirely on the paperwork related to the incident. When attempting to seek clarity or assistance, he made it clear that he did not have time to help individuals due to the size (8). His tone was dismissive and belittling, it felt as if completing the class well ahead of schedule was more important to Chris than ensuring all students were learning safely or feeling supported. As beginners, we signed up for this course expecting patient guidance. We did not anticipate being brushed off or made to feel like a burden. I truly believe in the value of the MSF program and the mission of promoting safe motorcycling. But this experience left us both shaken and discouraged. Our hope is that the instructor, Chris' conduct be reviewed and consider reinforcing with all instructors the importance of empathy, communication, and individual support-especially for new riders.

Highly recommended, great hands on teacher who does not mince words if and when you screw up and explains to you what happened and why you skidded out of control. We feel a little safer now and this was important for our kids to learn too.

So I decided to take the class to learn how to drive safely in snowy/icy weather. Michal was very knowledgeable and I learned a ton. The first part of the class involved watching informational slides as he talked and some videos of scary accidents. The actual driving portion was super fun! You get to practice how to handle different types of skidding, and Michal would give you notes on what went wrong and how to correctly navigate. I was not very good at first, but after doing it over and over again, it felt more like second nature by the end of class. I'd highly recommend this class!

They met with her and talked about how she could choose to have classes in person or online. We decided that online would be the best option. The online course was what you would expect. It covered the information in both videos and articles. What made the program stand out was the driving instructors. My daughter took all of the extra driving courses they offered. She would not get behind the wheel before working with them. Mike listened to the type of instructor my daughter needed and matched her up perfectly. She came back from her instruction time feeling more confident and self-assured. It was worth every penny. Some of their instructors can be a little harsher than others but some people do better with those types of instructors. Just let your point person know what type of instructor your child learns best with and they will try to match you up. About a year after my daughter had taken her courses we moved to California. California was going to require my daughter to take Drivers ed all over again and wait 6 months before she could get her license (she had not taken the test yet in Co). MasterDrive was quick to help us out. They sent the information needed and saved us both time and money. I really appreciate all they have done and recommend this company.
