I recently decided it was well beyond time to get a couple of per-matted art prints framed and thought it would be a nice option over Michaels. Because the prints looked standard size, I had bought a couple of frames at the craft store, but upon assembly, it turned out they were about half an inch too small, so off to the framers we go! They were so sweet about working with already matted work in store bought frames, and quoted my $20 to trim and frame my pictures, with pickup over the weekend. The pictures were beautifully and thoughtfully framed and I will return for actual custom work in the future, if I ever finish any of my works in process....

When I put on one of the shirts the position of the lettering on the back was incorrect. Called them explained that I need these shirts right away and had to pick them up in a couple of hours. MOTOPHOTO is the place to go for fingerprinting and passport photos!…read more I went with two friends here to get our BCI FBI background checks and we were able to be helped quickly by Sean, who was great. The process to make an appointment for the background checks was straightforward online and the pricing for it was the best in the area. The passport photo was also cheaper to have done than at CVS. For both we were attended to immediately and finished within 10 minutes of starting. The store had a pleasant ambience when I went with its plentiful but organized stock and quiet music in the background. They also had custom framing and other photo services but I didn't try those, though I'm sure they would've been smooth experiences as well. This place is a little gem and I'd recommend it for anybody who wants an easy, quick experience with fingerprinting or photo needs.

I just left there looking for one thing to come out a half an hour later. The staff tried hard to find me what I needed but the manufacture did not have. That was probably 10 minutes of my time. The rest was conversation on travel and photography. Pixel connection usually will have a seminar or a photo walk going on. They want you to get the most out of your camera and enjoy photography in general. They don't care if you are a budding professional or a parent who wants to shoot their own family pics. This is what I meant by living for photography. Stop in and say hello. They have new and used equipment. Always a specialist around to answer the difficult questions. If not they will get back to you.

Avoid passport photo services at this store. I visited…read morespecifically to get a passport photo for an expedited renewal, assuming a store advertising this service would have the proper tools and trained staff. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. A week after submitting my application, I received a letter stating the photo did not meet requirements--specifically, the face size wasn't within the required 1 to 1 3/8 inches (attached). I returned to the store to request a retake or a refund. They assured me they could take a compliant photo, but after 20 minutes and six failed attempts, they still couldn't get it right. They seemed unsure how far the camera should be from my face, and their equipment didn't allow them to digitally zoom or resize the image. The face size was either too small or too large every time. Eventually, they offered a refund. I ended up going to CVS, where I could take the photo on my phone, and their system resized it correctly. They even provided a certificate verifying the photo met passport standards. Unfortunately, the expedited fee I paid for the passport processing was wasted, and I had to pay again to mail a new photo. It's shocking that a store offering a "professional" passport photo service can't deliver a basic, compliant image.
