We were ultimately quite happy with what they built (our channel letter sign seems quite a bit brighter than our neighbors) though they had some challenges figuring out how to get the electricity into the building (our GC ultimately figured that part out). We weren't quite happy with the first iteration of the drop-down unlit sign - and when we expressed our concerns, they acknowledged the issue and fixed the alignment of the letters, increased their thickness and touched up the backing. Overall, we would recommend.

But they don't do a very good job of this, instead providing inaccurate and misleading information to people with disabilities. Considering that a former chief financial officer Mary Ann Hernandez made off with more than $100,000 in State money before she 'passed away' (Travis County District Attorney 2012) I certainly believe this place has sloppy business practices. It is legally impossible for ARCIL to have 'oversight' over DARS--the State of Texas VR agency. Because DARS provides them money to stay open. DARS actually decides if they stay open--not the other way around. Their 'transportation coordinator' is just as ineffective. Instead of providing people with bus passes, he only gives out 'public information' which is more quickly accessed through just physically going to Capital Metro's office or that agency's website. ARCIL would not even give us the requested bus passes themselves. I'm actually not sure what his function is--comedic entertainment?? Going to DARS, the County or another social service agency for help with getting bus passes is better. I'm not sure why reviews of ARCIL suddenly became controversial. They don't provide help. they steal public money. and they lie about what they can make other agencies do. People should know that graphics are not the main thrust of this place and that what they are providing has not been good business.
