When you're not satisfied with the results of work done by auto repair companies call the BAR - California Bureau of Automotive Repairs. Once the insurance company and the repair shop ignored my request and post to yelp 30 days ago., I immediately contacted the BAR. Hopefully now the work and warranty can be used correctly in fixing my bumper. read more

First off let me start my review with the fact that I am a hard person to please and that I am extremely picky on just who touches my car. When I had a bar of some sort fly off the bed of a trailer truck and chin check the hood of my car American Auto Body was my first and only stop. While being appraised I let Dan know just how picky I am with my car and he assured me that I wouldn't be able to tell anything had happened. And folks, he was 100% right! They do exceptional work at this fine establishment! And for reference I only leave reviews when my expectations are met or exceeded and they did this with flying colors! To all the men and women working at American Auto Body, thank you for being a company I can totally trust!!! read more

I took my 1999 Z3 Coupe here for some body work, and I am blown away by not only the craftsmanship/quality of work, but also the fantastic customer service that was provided. Miguel guided me through the whole process, worked directly with my insurance (even though Statefarm was trying not to), and kept me updated as the work progressed. Timely and professional from beginning to end. When i got the car back, I was amazed how much of the original paneling they were able to repair. There was a minor issue in that one of the small BMW badges were installed upside down. We shared a laugh about it and American Autobody was quick to stand by their work and have the issue resolved for me in a very timely manner. I always appreciate a business that is quick to address any customer concerns. These guys are experts and can't recommend enough. Thank you American Auto Body! If you are serious about getting your car returned back to showroom level quality, this is the place to go! read more

Miguel and American Auto Body completed the body work my 9-year-old car needed very quickly and with great communication about the cost. When I picked my car up, it was washed and polished, inside and out. It hasn't been that clean for 9 years!!! Great place. read more

Can't say enough good things about American Auto Body. My car was involved in a minor accident. A friend recommended these people to me and she was right. They were awesome. My car was fixed quickly and to perfection. It's new again! Even the insurance adjuster loves them. They are kind and honest from the first call. read more

I happened to stop in to get an estimate on a few dent repairs since this is the first auto place I came to on Maggio Circle. I had other places listed to get estimates, but talked to Dan who provided excellent customer service. He looked at all the small areas that I wanted work on and did some buffing and touch up paint repair on a scratch for no charge. He followed up promptly to schedule an appointment with me the same week. I waited in the office while the work was being done and observed that all the front desk people (Dan, Don and Miguel) are very professional and courteous as other customers came in for estimates or to pick up vehicles. When my car was done, I was overly surprised with the exceptional quality of work and the reasonable cost (out of pocket... no insurance claim). Thank you American Auto Body for being a trustworthy and honest establishment with awesome customer service. I will definitely recommend this auto body shop to others based on a great experience. read more

First things first Miguel is probably the best guy I have ever worked with in a body shop. We had a broken break light on our Escalade the top light 3rd break light. Took it yesterday and picked up the next day. Not only was it done properly but it was washed it was vacuumed and the tires were all done with a nice shine. It was 100 percent worth taking it to American Auto Body. We will definitely be using them in the future. read more

Always on top of there services. They have a great front office staff and are quick with high quality.

Best auto shop around! It was recommended by my insurance after i got into an accident. The customer service was great and they fixed my car on time. Even cleaned it too! Thanks to my insurance, it didn't cost me anything :) read more

I had a great experience with them and Brian. Needed somebody work on my 2001 Honda Civic that has a crappy dull blue paint job after a fender bender. They dealt with the insurance company directly, which made this experience very easy. Basically dropped the car off, talked a bit about the damage and paint matching. Took about a week total for them to replace the bumper and paint, all the while getting period update emails. Once I picked it up, I noticed they washed and detailed the car. I was most impressed with how well and good of a job color matching the bumper paint. Brian was great to deal with and I plan to go back if I need anymore body work done on any of my vehicles. read more

I came here after my insurance recommended them for a place to repair my car. Scheduling was really easy and I had no problem with the two week wait to get my car in to repair. However when I did bring my car for a consult the gentleman that met with me seem irritated that I was there. His name was Brian, he did greet me just fine. But when I started asking questions about the process or if certain things were going to be looked into he started to get short with me and started to seem really bothered by me. To the point my daughter even stated he was being rude. I ultimately decided to go to another company for my repairs as their customer service was a lot friendlier. read more

I've taken multiple vehicles here for repair and recommended them to all my friends. Even though Gary has retired all the same people still run the body shop. I got rear ended and had to take my truck in for repair. It was a small job and they did a great job like always. Brian kept me informed and let me know ahead of time when the truck would be done since I was coming from sacramento and would need to know a little ahead of time to drop off the rental car. They did a great job. read more

When asked around to friends for a great body shop, several recommended American Auto Body. I used Miguel from start to finish. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The quote Miguel gave me was the best out of 3 that I got. They were easy to get my vehicle on their schedule. The repair took about 4 days. When I picked up my vehicle it looked great. It was pretty bright outside, when I got it home I again checked it out in the shade. I noticed 2 small imperfections. I called up Miguel and let him know what I found. He said bring it in so they can look at it. When I brought it in, he came out and checked it out. He said thats definitely theirs. It's possible dirt on clear coat that the polisher should have caught. He grabbed a few things and went to work. He lightly sanded it then polished it up. This all took about 10 minutes. Great service, great work, would definitely recommend. read more

I recently went to American Auto Body for a quote after receiving two from other Auto Body places. Both the quotes I got were for about $1000 to repaint the hood of my car. When they came out to give me an estimate they tried polishing it. Turns out I didn't need to repaint it at all. 100% trustworthy and have my loyalty! read more

Always has the customers best interests at heart. Top quality work and customer service.

GREAT SERVICE! Repaired damage to our car looks great! Don N. was our contact. He treated us well. As part of the repair, the passenger side headlight was replaced. At no extra charge, they even polished the old one to match the new one. They are now my go-to autobody shop and the one I will recommend! read more

I brought my truck to American Auto Body after it rolled in neutral into a bollard at a gas station, which caused the door to stop shutting properly. I was concerned about how long it might take to fix and if they were going to be able to get parts if needed but they got the job done in a timely manner and on budget. Now, the door shuts as good as new, window rolls down properly, and they cleaned my truck up nicely. The quality of their work is top-notch, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. My SUV was hit and this has been the BEST experience for repairs I have ever had. Polite, professional, and timely. Was emailed full estimate within 2 hours of getting it looked at. Was advised of the timeline to get parts, and make repairs. All done exactly as promised. Looks brand new again!!!! They also were considerate enough to call ahead of it being ready to be picked up so we could make arrangements. It was not only washed, but completely detailed inside and out. Took my truck in to have 2 parking sensors replaced as the Cadillac dealer said a body shop would be 1/2 the price. Cadillac wanted $1500. Body shop wanted $1,022. I said to go ahead & fix. After installing they couldn't program. I had to take it back to Cadillac & they said the sensors were bad & installed wrong !!!. I went ahead with Cadillac to replace & get it done right. ( they did ) Went back to Dan at the body shop to try & get some kind of credit back for the sensors & he said he told me there was no guarantee on the work & Cadillac is lying about the sensors. I would have never left it with American Body if he told me there was no guarantees. Instead I payed them over $1000 & then payed Cadillac $1,500 Maybe they can do body work??? I wouldn't trust them with anything else. Try to save money & get screwed !!! Bob. read more

Went to them to repair my passenger window mechanism and was greeted by Don who took a look to assess the repair and was pleasantly surprised. He explained that they could do the repair but the wait could take a number of days, so he recommended another local auto glass company whom he highly regarded as they could get the repair done sooner. You see, my window was stuck halfway open. Who does that?? Did as he suggested and my window was repaired the next day. read more

First introduced to American Autobody after local Honda dealership crashed my wife's new car (less than 200miles on it.) Deal was if we could tell it had been repaired they would give us a new car. America AB is the real deal. I have been aware of this shop for 20+ years and have always referred friends and family to the shop. I worked for a rental car company and dealt with a lot of customers with damaged cars. American always had the happiest customers and almost never had anyone needing to take cars back for repair issues. I recently had my personal car hit in a parking lot. I took my car in for an estimate. Brian was my contact and kept me updated during repairs. There was a parts delay and it took a couple days longer than expected, but delays are not uncommon in the repair world. The car look fantastic and the repairs we perfect. Thank you Brian and Dan! read more

Highly impressed with the customer service that was presented. Brought in a car for an estimate and Angelo spent quite a bit of time making sure to get all the intricate details on the car. Car was in the shop for 3 short days and the car came out AMAZING. Walked out with some extra paint to touch up some spots and highly satisfied! 10/10 Recommend. read more

My review is based on my experience on March 21, 2017. I made my appointment several weeks out because they were so busy but I agreed to wait the time. When making my appointment I specifically stated who would cover liability and Manual agreed to contact the insurance company. Fast forward to nearly 30 days later on the day of my appointment I was made aware that Manual had never contacted the insurance company. Now for this appointment I asked my mother to follow me down from her home in which is 50 damn mins away in the rain. Not to mention I had to also bring my infant out in the weather because there was no way I was missing this appointment since it took so long to get. With in the 30 days no one called me to say "hey we lost the contact info to the insurance company can you please provide it again?" So in turn I arrive and I'm told "sorry we never did it so I'll call you next week when we can get you in." In lieu of losing my sh*t I got up and walked out! This is beyond inconsiderate and unprofessional!! This needs to be addressed with your staff. To not consider my time is not okay! This is an epic fail on American Auto Body's part. The sad part is I came back to you all because you repaired my husbands car just a few months prior. Yelper's, I've since moved to have another company repair my vehicle because no one who treats their customers with such disregard should continue to get my business or others in this case. read more

I'm sooooo glad they were recommended to me by my insurance company for some auto body damage due to a tree branch.
