Used to be the best in the area. No longer would I recommend this location. Nov 2024- I was very reluctant to bring my 2012 Shelby GT500 to any place to have any work done to it in fear that it wouldn't be done properly. Went in for paint repair on clear coat for insurance. I was confused after having to rush in at the end of the month and sign papers required for my insurance and not seeing the car because it was not fully assembled yet. I received my half painted car with only some stripes replaced a week later. When I asked about the rest, I was told I had to open another claim for it. Then again after rushing in to sign the check "end of the month" got my car done in another month which they lost (stole) the SHELBY badge off the trunk. They told me they ordered a replacement and it was "back ordered". I've called for 5 months. Apparently now it's all "new staff" and said I should take it up with my insurance. Never again will I Ever go here. Miscommunication I don't think so. read more

A little disappointed.. I dropped my car off to be looked at and serviced over a week ago and haven't heard anything until I decided to call them first. When I did get connected with someone I talked to Nicole who had an attitude when I asked about the engine of my car which was totally uncalled for since like I said before no one has reached out to me about the status of my car. I did speak to the manager I believe his name was Bryan, who was very friendly and apologetic. I'm just disappointed in the communication or lack there of. read more

We are very happy that we chose Certified Collision. From our first phone call until we picked up our car -we had a very positive experience. Customer service was wonderful. We were kept informed with text and phone calls. Nothing negative to say other than it ran a little bit longer because of parts being backordered, which was inevitable. They continue to push back the completion date. It's ridiculous and unacceptable. Firs called and said it would be done on a Friday. Friday comes along, then they say Tuesday. Tuesday comes along, and yup you guessed it, they extend the completion date. read more

After nearly a Month of having our vehicle and making no attempt to reach out to us; we received a call from our Rental car company that our Insurance company would no longer pay for our rental car as we had maxed out our policy. They informed us it was going to be nearly 2 weeks until the car would be done, as they found additional damage. When I told them I wouldn't pay for a rental car for 2 weeks they seemed to quickly find the part and will have it done this week! I let them know it was completely unacceptable to not communicate with customers and that they should have called long before so we could not waste our rental car coverage. They had ample time to fix the car! We are now stuck with an additional 150.00 for the rental car fees! We will never do business with them again!! Take your business elsewhere!! read more

John, Kelly and the rest of the crew here at the Lodi shop are awesome (I found out from a friend that the original J & D shop is in Galt). I will always come back to have any needed body-work done here and I will highly recommend them to others. From the moment I called them to repair $3700 worth of damage to the front bumper/grill, it was smooth sailing. I gave them my claim number, they arranged a rental for me, ordered my parts and set up an appointment. While I was there, I had also inquired about a $750+ pre-existing "ding" in the edge of my driver's side door but it turned out that the insurance didn't cover it so I decided to wait to get that repaired. So, when I picked up the car, John showed me where they had even pounded THAT damage out roughly for me at no charge so that it would look better until I had the money to come back in! No charge! Where do you get that kind of service nowadays? Also, every time I contacted them, the staff made me feel welcome and part of the family. Just the greatest group of folks to work with. This is a review for the NEW Certified Collision Center which was previously J&D Autobody on Cherokee Ln in Lodi, CA. I have recently had the pleasure of doing business with this Certified location. I hit a deer in late March and I was recent to find that Certified was a great choice to get my car fixed. It took about two weeks to get my car back and it looked just about as good as it did brand new! The paint color was matched perfectly and they looked like they cared well for my car the entire length of time it was on their lot. Austin the office manager was awesome. He offered updates whenever possible and answered all our questions and concerns as well as heard and fulfilled all of our requests for the work required. Michelle at the front desk was like a breath of fresh air cheerfully handling the initial insurance phone calls and paperwork. This office even has their own Hertz rental vehicle area. On that crazy rainy day we dropped our car off, we requested the need for full size fast and they offered one quick. I will always recommend Certified Collision Lodi as my choice of autobody shop. I brought my 2017 Tundra here in June of last year and not only did it take longer than it was supposed to, but after I got it back, I noticed after 3 weeks when I washed my truck one day that the driver's side where they repainted it, it was now dull and not as shiny as the passenger side. They must have put a temporary polish on it to mask it. I at that time just moved to Galt so instead of going back to this location, I went to the Galt one and Josh did take care of this for me and apologized for the poor workmanship. I also encountered problems at the Galt location as well with my other 2 vehicles. I do not recommend taking anything to any Certified Collision at all. They do poor lack luster quality and they don't stand by it. Next time I'm going to American auto body and waiting because they'll at least do better quality the first time. read more

Nice people but the work is not so good took my Honda CR-V after the door was damaged on the driver side. After a full review where the panels come together I had to take it back to reduce the gaps, the car is new so this is a no no. Also after a month the driver side power window where the door was replaced is not working now I have to fix it myself cause I don't even. Trust these guys enough to take it back tho they should fix it mostly. Like I said nice guys nice people but work sucks As they say in America '" at your own risk." read more

Went in to get an estimate for some bumper damage. Lady at the front desk was super friendly. I considered getting work done here because of some terrible work at other body shops around town. But the guy that gave me my estimate was so rude. When i asked for a print out of the estimate to show my insurance he said well i'm a really busy guy. Basically saying he didn't want to waste 5 minutes to help me. So i said ok bye! Been having some bad customer service lately and i didn't feel like arguing. After reading some reviews here it makes me feel like I dodged a bullet. read more

The worst experience I've ever had. Really bad quality work my car was return with orange pill and buff marks. Under no circumstances I was willing to receive my car in those conditions so I spoke to the owner and the owner had to take my car to a third-party to repair something they've couldn't fix themselves. Also I don't know how, but they also broke my a/c unit system my Bluetooth and cruise control. I highly don't recommend this place unless you want to go through some serious problems. read more

Straight CROOKS! received an estimate for a bumper rub with paint transfer only ,no body repairs needed. Some lacquer thinner and a buff and they had the nerve to write a $900.00 estimate on a 10 year old car with 150,000 miles. They should be reported to the Bureau of Automotive Repairs. STAY AWAY and find a HONEST body shop. The paint transfer rub was 2 inches by the way not even through the clear coat. They should have wrote and estimate for partial base deduction and full clear coat ,instead they wrote full paint time as if the whole bumper needed painted and fully cleared. Only interested in INFLATED ESTIMATES and gouging for profit! read more

They were also very thorough with their inspection of the injuries on my car and the work they delivered to fix them. After I picked up my car I did notice one or two minor issues. I got into an accident and decided to bring my car here. This was the first accident I had been in and had no clue what I was doing. When I called to set up an appointment they were very professional and made things easy. I showed up to my appointment and from the very beginning Jason was incredible from the estimate to keeping me updated and following through on fixing my car. It only took a couple of days to fix my car and the whole process was very easy. The front desk operator, Michelle was also extremely professional and polite. The people at Certified Collision Center are all around an amazing staff and I trusted them with my vehicle the entire time. In addition to everything previously stated, Jason seriously went above and beyond. He checked out my front two tires, which had nothing to do with where my vehicle got hit. He let me know that they were in terrible condition and to help me out he knocked some money off for me to purchase new tires. He shows concern for his customers, which is a fantastic quality in customer service. I will most definitely be bringing my car back here if anything should ever happen again. They taped & covered the truck perfectly. We got the truck back sooner than promised. A nice gentleman explained what was done & even gave us some touch up paint if needed. I took my truck to them for repairs. After they had given an estimate and I contracted for the repairs, they twice boosted the "estimate" because they "forgot" to include labor to remove the bed to paint the back of the cab. They offered "no interest" to carry the deductible, but after I agreed to that I was told that there was a monthly "fee" charged. Not interest, but a FEE. Still money, and a shady practice to me. When I got a ride to pick up the truck when it was finished, I was told that only a check was acceptable for the deductible. Not ATM. Not a credit card. Only a check. I went home (24 mile round-trip) to get my checkbook and pay the deductible. Nice to be trusted. They also made the insurance company transfer the money directly rather than have me pay them. The work looked OK, but when I went to get fuel the first time after getting it back, the fuel cap retaining strap -- held on with a simple screw -- was not attached. Details make the job guys. Do not take your vehicle here!!!!! They are on State Farms Approved list so I chose them to do minor repairs. The work was done but driving home I noticed the tint on the back window was all messed up. I called John and drove it right back over. He looked at it and even though he admitted to washing the inside of the glass, would not help me in any way. After the run around for three days, Dick called me and only told me that he agrees with John. State Farm and I are still working on this.
