Best overall service and repair shop around. How's above and beyond! We've been taking our family vehicles for over 15 years. The last job (timing chain job) on our Infiniti QX56 was amazing! read more

I had the best experience at this shop! My Range Rover had charging issues and wouldn't start while I was in town visiting for the night. I had it towed to the shop at 1pm and met with the owner (Kassi) and he diagnosed the probable causes, located a couple parts to have them on hand before last delivery time of the day to make sure we had all options covered. He called to confirm pricing, and then had the car ready with both alternator, battery, and other items replaced and serviced and ready for me all before 5pm. Amazing job in 4-hours, from arrival to pick-up, to sourcing the parts, to installation! I was back on the road driving back to Southern California with my car running great. What a great family business and I would absolutely recommend everybody to get service from this shop. Honest, excellent work, full of integrity! read more

Today was a day off for me and I was planning to complete a bunch of errands, but, my driver side door all the sudden was making a horrible noise and would hardly open and close. I took it to Valley Auto and Kashi looked at it right away, found that the door would most likely need to be replaced because a weld had broken. I knew I couldn't afford a new door, so Kashi figured out how to repair the door and re welded it. He also provided me one of his cars so I could still get my errands done while they worked on my car and it was done with a completely reasonable price. I will start bringing my car here for everything! read more

My car would not start and I had it towed to their shop. Ended up needing a new fuel pump. They got my car going again and I picked it up the next day. I am a repeat customer and I originally started going to them because they are within walking distance of my house. Great service every time I go. read more

Great service at a fair price. Honest mechanic. Much less pricey than the dealer. I am a returning customer

I just left this shop and I wanted to make sure I left a review. I paid today to have them inspect an old car that I was looking to buy. The mechanic took his time, sent me videos of his inspection and then took the time to explain everything to me. I was very appreciative of their work and professionalism. read more

Every time I come here they find the problem in a timely manner and fix it for a really decent price. As a female, most mechanics seem to try and overcharge or get you to pay for unnecessary things, but this place has always been so honest and helpful. It's the only place I trust to take my car. I've been cooking here for almost 10 years. Thank you! read more

The best place in the SJ Valley! My family has been going here for a decade. Whether it's our Hondas, Lexus, BMW or Nissan, they do it all! What I can respect most from a mechanic is honesty, and that's what you'll get here. They don't cut corners, they don't overcharge, and they're upfront about their services and cost. Kashif, the owner, is a family man and that's apparent in the way he runs his business. read more

Very fast service with no wait! The price was about average, but everything is expensive these days. Thanks everyone!

These people helped me get back on the road after a scary hydroplane incident that sent me off the freeway. My undercarriage, struts, tires, rims, and other parts were covered in mud and cracks and dents. The team here were able to replace all the parts I needed to be back on the road safely and they were honest and transparent about what the timeline and costs would be. I appreciate that they didn't take advantage of someone who just went through an anxiety inducing experience. It took a few days of patience, but good things take time and I would return to them for future services after my 1st time using this place for my needs. read more

TL;DR Version: Great service, got me in quickly, and reasonably priced, and they have R-1234yf Freon! As the summer started kicking I realized my A/C was not kicking in. Trying to find a place to do a recharge turned out to be a way more difficult request than I could have ever imagined. Most places advertising they offer this service don't, and if they apparently there is a new Freon type which my car apparently takes (Jaguar) that they don't carry. After 2 days and calling at least 100 places I found Valley Auto Repair. They got me an appointment within an hour of my call, recharged my AC and had me all ready just in time for the road-trip I was about to take. I wish I would have started with them to begin with! Now that I know, I will definitely be returning in the future the next time I need a service or repair. read more

This is my second time to have my car smogged at Valley Auto Repair Center and each time it was done in a timely manner and when I mentioned a little minor fix that needed to be done........my car would come back to me and the problem was fixed. After visiting the DMV inside AAA my son was told he needed a smog check and we were referred here. Being a AAA member we got a $10 discount and we're told it would be about 30 mins. I swear it felt like 10 mins!! In and out super fast! Total was $50 even. read more

Honest mechanic with great service and very fair prices. Kashi is great to work with!

Ive been here twice in the last two weeks. One for a smog check + cert and one to change my license plates. Both services have been amazing. Smog check was only about 30 mins since there was someone in front of me. Service was friendly and entire thing was $40 even. The following week I got new license plates and was changing the screws. Back plate had really rusty screws I couldn't loosen so I went to them and it took about 5-10 mins and they didn't charge me a thing! I tipped them though bc the service was still great. I highly recommend! read more

So came here on when I failed my first smog inspection and needed a place that was quick and honest in price. Well I found it and will be returning to Valley Auto Repair when I need my breaks and oil changed done. If your going to oil stop now by misters car wash. Save your money they charge 109.99 for a synthetic oil change and Valley only charges 70 bucks out the door for the exact same oil change. Also my hood release was having issues with the spring and they fixed it no charge. This is why I like locally owned businesses in Lodi and prefer places that are not a dealership, Midas or pep boys. Keep up the great work fellows and I will be back. Word of advice they don't do appointments show up the first thing in the morning and you will be taken care of first. Thanks again for the quick smog while the first place failed me on purpose to try to extract more money out of me. How does one car pass smog less then 2 hours later and have no issues or worked done too it. read more

I've come to this place a few different times for different services. I've had my oil change done and smog check. They're always polite and give me an accurate time estimate. There was one time that a service did take longer than expected. They were completely transparent throughout the whole process and very apologetic. They also checked in with my kiddos because they were getting impatient. That level of customer service is what compelled me to give them 5 stars. They offer fair prices and good service. That goes a long way when it comes to auto services. I highly recommend them! read more

Thank you so much for always taking me in as a walk-in. I really appreciate it when I need something done suddenly, and you guys can fix it in a few hours. It's really convenient. Thank you Kashif read more

I came in to have my battery tested, I was told it's fine but there is corrosion on it . I was then changed $45 to to clean it and for testing the battery! Baking soda and vinegar would've done the same job. That would've run me about $6 . I really think he saw a woman alone and over charged the hell out of me. Pretty sad ! I've heard good things about this shop, not true for me! Lesson learned. I won't be back! read more

I bought a used 2004 Toyota 4 runner recently, and the seller scammed me on the mileage and condition. These guys told it to me like it was. Naturally I'm upset about the purchase but it wasn't Valley's fault. I wish to retract my previous review, where I mistakenly criticized this shop. They were professional and knowledgable, and I would definitely do business with them again. Tim Pryor read more

Was my go to place previously but I have noticed a change in service lately. I believe I saw a comment somewhere that ownership changed which if it did is likely the change in service. Lately when take one of the cars in it comes out with another problem. Last experience I will not be back. I had issues with car cutting out took it in paid the diagnostic fee they cleaned intake out then ready to go. Was pleased then all of a sudden next day not even 10 miles or 24 hrs pass I'm sitting at idle and my car temp all the way to hot. I take back immediately, then they tell me I need to pay diagnostics again and it's the fan. Then tell me they will waive the diagnosis fee if it's the fan but if fuse I pay. Well it was the fan but charged me diagnosis and now my hood does not pop anymore and got this problem after they had the car again. No longer a trust worthy shop read more
