Our asphalt shingle roofs on our house and barn were damaged in a hail storm. Ethan came out the day after we called and inspected both roofs which needed complete replacement. He made it so easy to file a claim with our homeowners insurance Farmers. Once we called Farmers they just communicated with each other. They handled the rest and within a few weeks they were reroofing our house! Farmers had no issues with claim and sent us the money to start project and then the balance when it was complete. There were no surprises and all we paid was our deductible. Their crew were so professional, clean and FAST!!! Our house and barn were completed in two days!! I really do not want to go in depth in this review. I've seen other reviews for this company that were extremely negative. These negative reviews were met with an argument from the company. I will say, that this company will push insurance on you and you may end up with out an insured roof as a result. I would not recommend this company, and definitely do your research! read more

I hired Amcat to remove the snow on my roof. It took them about a day. I had a huge pile of snow in front of my front door and garage door for 3 days. On the 3rd day I could get my wife's car out of the garage. I checked out the roof shingles yesterday and was appalled. The front side looks great but the back side is chewed up. We had our roof repaired in 2018 after a storm and hail event, as did neighbors on both sides of us. AMCAT replace all three roofs. After 2 years our roof and our neighbors roof started leaking. AMCAT did return phone calls but they won't come and check out the leak. They told the neighbors they were to busy so they should just get someone else to do the job or fix it themselves. DO NOT use this fly by night company! No roof should be leaking in two years and a company should want to stand behind their work not hide! read more

I had them do my manufactured house that has a simple roof. They showed up with a bunch of illegal's with no supervision. They drove all over my yard and ran over my sprinkler head while putting huge ruts on my lawn. I asked for a 3" drip edge and I got a 1" drip edge. They didn't replace my vents on my roof like they said they would. They just spray painted them. They also left nails all over my yard and the roof. They didn't do the cover to my crawler like we talked about. They left a half a pallet of shingles out front of my house which is still there. They showed up for one day and never came back after I call and text multiple times. If you want some pros don't call these guys. I'll have to take them to court. read more

I know that they will probably argue with everything I write, but hiring AMCAT to replace my roof was a horrible experience. What should have been a couple day project ended up lasting for over 6 months and even now not satisfied with the finished project. From the minute the materials were delivered damaged and spread out in a haphazard manner until today the entire project was a nightmare. Had to have the owner come out numerous times over the course of the project to discuss the many issues including a different screw pattern on each side of the roof, panels laid with holes patched with silicon, terrible flashing around the chimney, etc. I think they had to remove and replace panels at least three times during the process. I could go on and on, but the problems with the project are too many to mention. I expect they will respond with all types of excuses, but I would never recommend this company to anyone, and I feel sorry for anyone that uses them in the future. read more

This winter we had an ice dam on our roof and water was coming into our living room. Jake Long was at our house the very day we discovered the problem and he immediately fixed the problem. Later we had Amcat re-roof the entire house. They did a great job. read more

I have had more problems with my roof once this company redid it than I had before it was done. The company has multiple times tried to tell me that the problems are not warranty issues, which they obviously are, have tried to blame my property managers for damage done by rain, and is now not returning calls to address the damage their poor work has caused my property. read more
