We ran into some issues but I'm waiting to see how we get them resolved. I hope we can get my roof on soon.

DO NOT USE THIS ROOFING CO!!! Absolutely the worst job and the worst experience. Without going into all the details, I had a new roof installed by them. The new roof leaked in multiple places and caused damage to the interior of my home. Durango Roofing first did additional work charging additional monies then went silent. The leaking continued and my messages went unanswered. Another roofer had to be called in and the entire roof installed by Durango Roofing removed and installed properly. STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND FIND A RESPECTABLE HONEST CO!!! If you have trouble believing this review and others like it I would suggest you dig deep (check legal actions against them etc.). There are a few good reviews of them online so maybe they do a good job sometimes or maybe they put those up there themselves?? Durango Roofing Company is mired in fraud, deception and does not take accountability for their work and behaviors. Our project was a $75,000+ roof. We were told it would take 7-10 days. Its now 90 days and they still arent done. They ran out of metal roof materials and supplies on numerous occassions which delayed the project for weeks. They lack accountability. During the project we damage to expensive light fixtures, spa cover, cistern equipment and our new driveway. They refuse to take reponsibility or be accountable to repair or replace ANY of the items. The company ownership has NEVER came to the house to review sub-contractors work. They refused all our invitations to visit. They continue to just stiff-arm our requests for review and reimbursement. We have had 3 flat tires on our vehicles due to roof nails left around our home. We have owned many homes and have never dealt with a contractor so brazen, and one who lacks accountability and responsibility for anything! We offered to compromise and settle the matter ourselves just to be done and they rejected. They never sent verification to our insurer, still owe us our warranty, and thousands in repairs, replacements to our home and fixtures many months later. They are un-reasonable, un-accountable, lack customer service and poor business people! Poor service, Poor follow-through, NO contact from the project manager and NO call back from the owner. They attempted to set up proper drainage prior to placement of the TPO covering and didn't do it right. The work was unsatisfactory and there were low points left on the roof after we specifically discussed it was flat and drainage was key. The workers left their trash. The project manager didn't call me back once during the project. Finally, I called the owner and he never called me back again either. The workers stole my wet/dry vacuum and step ladder. I Paid for a roof to be repaired after a hurricane. I was told that the roof was completed in October of 2020. A family friend informed me that the roof was never completed and here it is February of 2021 and my roof is still left incomplete. I haven't been able to get a single person on the phone. They lack professionalism, consistent communication, integrity, and quite frankly are running a sham and scam of a business. Shame on them for taking advantage of me and our city during a declared disaster. This year has been hard enough with a pandemic and a hurricane. Dishonest, misleading company, don't use them! Started tearing my roof in the afternoon in late October the day before a powerful cold front was forecast to come thru. Left loose shingles, buckets of nails etc. unsecured on the roof much of which blew off overnight. Buckets of nails spilled on driveway, shingles all over the yard, etc. When I called to complain, they assured me that everything was secured, even though I had personally witnessed with my own eyes that it had already blown off the roof. I work and never saw or spoke to anyone in charge after they started - they were not there when I left for work and they were gone when I came home. The guy who originally came out to give me a bid assured me that they would put my existing heating cable back on the new roof when they were done, but instead, I found it wound up and sitting in the gutter on the roof when they were done. They did not perform a "walk-thru" when the job was complete, just sent a bill demanding payment the same day. Called them this winter when an ice dam developed on the roof and they deny having promised to put my heat cable back up. Several other smaller problems that reflect poor workmanship that I did not bring up with them as it is clear it would fall on deaf ears. Read the fine print in their contract - it essentially absolves them of any problem that might arise and they do not stand by their work. read more

Buyer beware. We've had the worst nightmare with those people. Debi Patterson is totally unprofessional. They promise to call you when they will come, then don't, throw you invoices without telling what work has been done. They communicate extremely poorly. We've used many contractors in the Durango area and this has been a terrible experience. Look for someone else. read more
