This is our go to theatre. This time I'm not giving my highest rating due to the temperature maintained in theatre 1 is way too cool. We laughed about the fact that they sell blankets at the lobby. Trying not to cave into cynicism. We enjoyed the movie we watched very much in otherwise clean and pleasant surroundings. We had the wrong hour on our calendar so missed our reserved show. They were kind enough to reschedule our tickets to a later show. By the way, the popcorn, with butter, is great too. read more

Tried to see a movie here and the temp in the theater was over 80 degrees. Multiple people complained and asked the theater to turn the air on. They never did. After sweating it out for the first hour and hoping they would turn the AC on we finally gave up and left. What a nightmare. read more

I can only speak for my own experience here. I have been to this movie theater twice, on a date night with my wife both times. This theater is horribly mismanaged and I would never recommend that somebody choose it for a date or any other activity. The first time, we were left in complete darkness as the employees and managers forgot to start the movie- no trailers, no other moviegoers, no floor or hall lights, nothing. When we went out to alert staff, it was clear that most of the staff had packed up and gone home. Our movie was delayed by over an hour. The second time, when we arrived at the theater, they informed us that our movie had been canceled. In fact, all the movies had been canceled. Let me be clear. Movie theaters are already expensive. If you want to spend 2 months of a Netflix subscription on a 2 hour movie, spend it somewhere where you won't feel insulted and unappreciated. Spend it somewhere where you can walk in, sit down, and watch a movie. It's probably no surprise at this point to say that we were the only customers in the entire building both times that we attended. I wonder why. read more

Great location not far from where I live. Not only that there is nearby eatery and lots of other stuff to do and see.

This place is always dirty. We showed up right when they opened and there was still popcorn in the carpets throughout the theatre. If you look behind the chairs, there are piles of garbage, like a ton. The theatre always feels really dark and uninviting. We went and say Barbie here not too long ago and the movie didn't have adds, the screen was blank for 30 minutes, and the movie actually didn't start for 45 minutes. They didn't offer and reimbursements or anything for a delay. Overall, I give this place a 2/10. read more

I went to see Barbie here with my girlfriend everything was fabulous, the heated recliners, the whole atmosphere. But I went out and wanted to get a drink before the trailers started and there was no line and a whole bunch of employees behind the counter. I stood there for like 5 minutes while the employees were all talking about a missing wallet, when the lady finally helped me, after paying she forgot to give me the cup I just paid for. So I had to remind her that I needed a cup. It shouldn't take that long to check out one person. Especially when there's a ton of staff behind the counter and talking right in front of me. read more

My husband and I went on Halloween, so no crowds, easy to scan our e-tickets, the seats were very comfortable. We don't get anything from concessions, so I can't comment on that. Nothing to complain about. We'd go again if we can ever afford it. read more

Super dirty, no ice, no snacks, and one of our recliner seats didn't work. This location has had "supply issues" for months, so they don't have anything in stock and feels like an abandoned gas station in the lobby. read more

WORST THEATRE EVER. They had no ice in the soda machines, bec that's exactly what I want during a long movie is a warm ice less soda. They also had no water bottles either. They only had two child employees helping a sea of people. This has been the worst movie going experience I have ever had. I really wanted to like this theatre. First no sign up for ticket prices. I didn't realize I was paying $5 extra for a different theatre which I did not notice any difference in. Some how we we spent over $50 for two tickets 1 Soda and a large popcorn. Next I could not believe how dirty the back of every seat row was. Just tons and tons of trash. I have never been to any theatre that just had tons of trash like that. I went to the bathroom and there was a really loud buzzing noise, I mean really loud. What the heck? EDIT: I see a lot of older reviews saying this theater is old and run down. They remodeled just before COVID! EVERY screen has recliner seats! It's great, they just need to take care of their Prime projector. I'm an AMC A-List member, and there's no better deal. $20 a month for up to 3 movies a week? Are you kidding me? If you love movies, you need to be an A-List member. I've docked a star, because their AMC Prime screen, which costs significantly more per ticket (unless you're an A List member), consistently has blurry projection. I don't know what the deal is with the Prime projector, but especially the upper left quadrant is almost always blurry. I've asked before if they would fix it, and they did, after which the image quality was AMAZING, but I shouldn't have to ask. It should be standard practice to ensure at least each day if not every screening that the Prime lens is correctly in place and formatted or whatever it is they need to do to fix the blurriness. Otherwise I love AMC for their A-List deal. read more

How time changes things. I remember when this place opened. It was the bees knees. Stadium seating was new. It was great. At that time being THX was a big deal. Not all theatres had it. For ages we had to go to Salt Lake to find it. This theatre had it, and it was great. These days the theatre still shows first run movies. We ended up here because it was showing what we wanted to see, that wasn't showing at the time we wanted at the new places. However, there is no question that everything is dated. You can feel it throughout the theatre. At the same price, I'd go elsewhere. If they have what I want to see, and it's not available elsewhere, I'll be here. read more

I think this is sort of a hidden gem if you don't mind the concessions being a little messy. Every time we go I love that there aren't huge crowds and they have the best seats that recline, which is much more important to me then messy concessions. read more

Whatever you do don't come here!!! 0/10 would NOT recommend. My wife and I showed up for a date night and spent extra money to get the reclining seats. Both seats ended up not working. We tried to avoid problems and bounced around seats until people kept showing up and claiming their spots. A few minutes after the show started we left to get a refund and call it a night but they REFUSED to refund our money even though the seats they sold were broken. Terrible theater. read more

Lol, this place was like a ghost town when I got there on Friday fricken night! NO one at the registers, popcorn and food and drink stations all closed down, no one to buy a ticket from... mind you this is at 10:30pm on a Friday night. So we just strolled on back, still not seeing any employees. Eventually just decided to go to a different theater. I felt like I stepped into a twilight zone episode which was eerie and kind of interesting but ultimately not a theater I would recommend for movie watching :) The chairs and screens are a little outdated as well. read more

Went to go see a movie and the film stopped playing a quarter of the way through. When we talked to the staff they said "yeah, all our projectors are kind of crappy. This happens all the time." They wouldn't refund but gave us tickets to come back again for the projectors to fail on us once again. read more

I would not say that this is the best theater in the world, but it's definitely not the worst. For one it is NOT crowded, and that is super nice. It wasn't even crowded on $5 Tuesday. Heck yeah. The seats have no leg room...luckily there was hardly anyone in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2" so I enjoyed the extra leg room using the armrests of the chair in front of me ;) When you enter, it won't matter if you're not at all hungry, you will have the sudden urge to buy and eat buttery popcorn. The popcorn smell is very potent. #eathealthy The bathrooms are close to the theater rooms... Why do I mention this? Because it's a nice thing when you have a mid movie bathroom break. Overall you will enjoy your movie here... Just pray that your theater is empty for extra leg room. ENJOY. read more

Great deals, especially if you show your student ID. It's never crowded. I think people forget about this place. It's quiet, cheap ($6.50) and it has everything you expect from a movie theater. The only drawback is that there are A TON of commercials for everything you see here. I think it helps them keep the prices low. I'm talking 30 minutes of ads beforehand. read more

We've been going to this theater since it opened. It had been our favorite theater. Many times we have taken all our kids and filled up a whole row. Our kid who is a Realtor has even rented out the theater a few times for showings. We have always loved the inexpensive cost and friendly staff...However now the plush seats in the PRIME theater put pressure on your calves so you can't feel your feet by the end of the movie-they don't go all the way up, just an awkward angle- very uncomfortable- and it was $35 for 2 seniors and a small bag of popcorn at a 4pm show. What???? I'm sorry but goodbye old friend. We won't be coming to this theater any longer. read more

Fair is fair. I'm going to update my review a little. The new manager finally sent me the promised tickets after about three months and a return visit to inquire about the whereabouts of the promised tickets and multiple attempts to reach them by phone. I haven't been back for another movie so I can't comment on whether the quality of the experience has come up but i do appreciate the eventual follow through. I can't give this place more stars if the employees are still working at the level they were working the night of our first visit and the assistant manager who shined me off when I came by to inquire about the promised package shouldn't be managing anything ever. She was one of the best examples of crappy customer service I've ever encountered and I will cite her in any conversations I have with anyone about how not to do that. Otherwise, we might give them another try if we're in town and if we do, I'll adjust my rating appropriately. read more

No reserving seating, so depending on your need for seating, it might work well for you to be able to show up before movie and just stand in line to get a good seat. This place is absurd. $9 for a "large" popcorn that isn't even a bucket. And if you want a free refill you have to sign up for their spam email service. Way overpriced, horrible employees that moved very slowly and didn't even check our tickets. Cinemark is better is every way. read more

I discovered this theater a few years ago, and have been going to it almost exclusively since. The ticket prices are some of the cheapest in town (and that was even before they were lowered). I love the stadium seating as well as the fact that I don't have to reserve my seats ahead of time. It's usually not crowded, so it is a very real possibility that you may only be sharing the theater with a few other people, even on opening nights. Despite always belonging to a massive theater chain, this theater in particular has always had a sort small town, local theater vibe. The kind where you walk in and just feel comfortable. Overall it may not be as fancy as Cinemark and The Megaplex, but I feel that this theater has other qualities that more than make up for it. read more

Mens bathroom on the far right side is freezing, like camping in the winter and taking care of business in the "heated" bathrooms kind of freezing. Not a very pleasurable pooping experience. To add insult to injury the water from the automatic sinks was freezing as well. Comfy seats, no recline though. The arm rest are adjustable, so I just sprawled out on the back row. I literally could not be more disgusted. After purchasing 5 tickets (kids 5-15) to Lion King (PG) we endured numerous Rated R previews. Then one came on with a Restricted Content Rating. 5+ F-words, crude language, explicit language, it was more than I could stand. Even though our tickets matched the theater for Lion King, it was an Unrated film. Now I have a broken-hearted 5 year old who has asked to see this movie since the first preview and have just ushered my own children into the foulest language they have ever heard. This is an absolute disgrace. read more

Good place to go catch a movie. The theater is a little dated compared to the other options available in the city. But what it lacks for in amenities it makes up for in quality prices. Especially on Tuesday's sheer you can watch find for five dollars. Parking is very easy and you can park in the back so when you leave you have a good chance at getting to your car quickly. read more

We went to see a matinee today at this theatre. First of all, they charged us tax for the movie. The cashier was confused (we didn't ask about it), and asked another employee who said "we charge tax now". (The board said "all prices include tax".) Only about a dollar, but still annoying, I can't ever remember paying tax on top of the posted ticket price. When we payed with cash, the cashier acted like he was really put out, and now he "would have to go to the bank to get change". We gave him a twenty and a ten-you think a business would carry enough change without going to the bank! The movie and sound were fine, but with so many more theatre options, I don't see going back to this one. If they treat everyone like this, I can't imagine they will stay in business.
