I don't go to movies very often anymore. I picked this theater because of the amenities, the cleanliness and the wide selection of options. Used to live very close to the theater so we would go on a monthly basis. Since moving away, it is a bit of a drive for us but a good movie came out that we both wanted to see. Got our seats online and the process was seamless. A few people in line at concessions, but it moved quickly. Love the reclining seats and cupholders with each one. Snacks were great and the large popcorn bucket can be refilled free. Lobby was very clean and parking was easily accessible nearby. Great option if you love going to the theater. read more

I was excited to see my first IMAX movie in years with my lover - we were quite excited for the Oddessy. When we got settled in our seats, we notice the volume of the theater was quite loud with the trailers, but we were hopeful that the volume would be turned down with the feature film. Now, we are both musicians who promote hearing protection at our events. The volume was at hearing damaging levels and shook the entire theater. I wish I could say I enjoyed the movie, but the experience was entirely ruined by negligent sound technicians. Safety should always be the number one priority when placing patrons near powerful speakers and it was completely cast to the wayside for a three hour war film. Unacceptable. The only thing decent about this theater was the partially reclining seats and sound system. The reclining seats are much better at Regal Cinemas. The beverages were half the size of Regal Cinemas. The popcorn tasted burnt. Parking is not close. Nothing impressive here, for sure. read more

We always come to this AMC for movie night, we've only ever had a problem once with the popcorn, but the staff were super nice and gave us a fresh batch with no questions asked. We like the seats, and it's very comfortable for long movies. There are plenty of snack options, and yes it's expensive, but that is the movie theater experience I guess! There is plenty of parking around since it's at Kent Station. Bathrooms are always super clean too, which is always a good sign in my experience!! read more

My boyfriend and I went here to watch the new Superman movie as he won tickets and a gift card so we figured we would use it for the occasion. However, we found out that even with the tickets he had to pay a little bit more which was annoying. Additionally, their app is really frustrating as it took my boyfriend almost an hour to get tickets as they weren't registering his password even though he just changed it. Luckily we went on Tuesday when they offer cheaper tickets and we were able to get our concessions just fine. The service here was pretty friendly and professional. The cleanliness though was questionable as the floors were littered and the area to grab more butter, napkins or sauces was messy even though it was like 10am in the morning. I don't like that their recliners don't really go all the way, or maybe I just happened to be unlucky with my seat. I think I will stick with Century Theaters as I can get a better experience for way less and without much hassle of their rewards program. read more

I've gone back to this theater mannnyyy times since my initial review in 2015 and it's continued to improve over time! Location is still super ideal, located right in the middle of Kent Station where there are many places within walking distance to grab dinner/drinks before a movie (or after). Purchasing tickets online is always a breeze. Group buying tickets is nice because they just scan one QR code that holds all the tickets rather than having to scan tickets individually. Snack bar options are pretty solid. They've got way more than just popcorn - mozzarella sticks, nachos, chicken strips, specialty meals surrounding big movie releases, etc. It's a movie theater though, so definitely expect spendy prices. I love the seating in the theaters here! The seats are spacious and coupled up, so you can remove the center if you'd like for more of a "couch" like experience. The seats also recline and have the option to be heated. Makes it so cozy! Great theater overall and we'll continue to frequent. read more

Came in for a LotR, Two Towers rescreening. Tickets were purchased in advance, on-line. The lobby is large and sunny with a good size snack bar. Tickets are scanned as soon as you enter. There are hallways off the either side of the lobby to the theaters with restrooms in both directions. The theater was quite large. The seats are also quite large with cup holders, they recline and are heated! My sore back really enjoyed that heat. Mmm mm. The sound quality in the theater is excellent. Much better than in my local theater (not AMC) and I appreciated being able to hear everything without feeling like my ear drums were being ripped open. So yea. Film clarity was also excellet. The theater was kept cool. We parked close to the theater and there are plenty of parking areas in the shopping plaza where the theater is located. We arrived early and found parking easily. When we exited the movie the lots were full, so do plan extra time to park. read more

Two words: heated recliners I think that's enough to make this my favorite theater in the area. I personally prefer comfy seats over larger screen or better audio. I saw someone else mention in their review that the Dolby and IMAX theaters here do not have the heated recliners, so I didn't want to risk missing out and went with good old digital for my viewing of Captain America: Brave New World. It was in Auditorium 9 and I got seat G7. With the wall partition between rows I didn't even know if there was anyone sitting directly in front of me. $19.09 for 1 ticket including fees for a 6:00 PM Thursday showing. $11.88 for a kids combo which includes kids size popcorn, fruit snacks, and bottled water which I switched for a kids size fountain soda + a cup of nacho cheese. Someone once introduced me to dipping popcorn in nacho cheese and it's been my go to movie snack ever since! Bonuses for this location is self serve butter topper and Coke freestyle machines. Theater and bathrooms were clean on my visit. A downside is there wasn't any seating in the lobby, so I walked around looking at the movie poster stands while waiting for my theater to be ready since I got there so early. I ate dinner elsewhere this time, but the theater vicinity seems to have good food options like Dough Zone, WingStop and a ramen place I should try sometime. read more

I went to the movies this evening. I have an A List Membership. So I go to the AMC 2-3 times a week. At the Southend Restrooms there was a missing screw on the bottom of the partition. It's a slow night and found 3 other dirty toilets. It seems even in down time, staff does not check the restrooms for unflushed toilets. Some theater goers don't know where the flush button is if the self toilets don't flush. read more

AMC Kent station may be in rotation for movie nights now! We usually go to the Southcenter location but the movie we wanted to see didn't have show times till late in the night so we opt for the next closest location. To my surprised the number of seats in the theater were less then what we were use to but loved it! The seats were SO comfy and they're even heated!! Winning!! Entrance and concession were spacious. Staff were friendly. Only issue I had was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Not sure if it was because it was towards the end of the night but they were pretty gross. Tissue paper was everywhere. Stalls were filled with seat liners on the toilets. Trash was filled to the rim. But other than that we had a good experience. Will definitely come back again. read more

Maintained theater, clean seats, decent staff, sound is loud, and the theater is dark for the movies. Seats are recliners. Popcorn still is good only for a duration of a movie and once its past an hour of the movie, the popcorn will be stale. Overall, will still continue to visit. read more

Dolby seats are not comfortable. The extra you are paying to see with Dolby is solely for the quality of the screen and sound. The Dolby seats recline to a super awkward and uncomfortable position. Your legs are a quarter way up and the back/ head part doesn't go down all the way. The seats don't allow you to lay and enjoy the movie. You're sat up right and the recliner holds your legs at a quarter angle. More comfortable to not use the leg recliner at Also seats are not heated. The standard viewing seats are great, reclines to a comfortable position and more roomy. Those seats also heat on 2 temp settings. And the armrest in the middle can be put up for a more space if needed. I've never had an issue with customer service or the bathroom being dirty. AMC Kent Station is a fine, standard movie cineplex in Kent Station. The biggest benefit it has is its inexpensive with plenty of parking. Beyond that it doesn't have much going for it. Most of the time I come here due to an old movie being replayed. I love the larger screens and am always comfortable. The noise situation of hearing other movies or a passing train is very real and quite distracting. It isn't great but there's nothing the staff can do about construction decisions made years ago. The bathrooms are often an utter disaster. Rarely can I walk in and select a stall - each need inspected to ensure it isn't super gross before committing. The countertops look like they belong to a water park. It is a messy experience. read more

Manager Customer Service Non Existent We came to AMC Kent Station 14 to see The Long Walk, Thursday the 18th at 7:45pm. I have been waiting to see this movie adaptation since I read the book over a decade ago. I even bought tickets 2 weeks in advance on Fandango. We arrived early for the movie and found our seats. 15-20 mins goes by and an older couple approach me and tell me we're in their seats. I explain that actually these ARE our seats and I'm not going to just move. I even nicely showed them our tickets. The man went and got the manager who came back and looked at both of our tickets for a while before telling the couple that unfortunately they double booked the seats and that it was all because we booked through Fandango (as if it's our fault). Then the older couple ask the manager to tell us to move because they're "A List Members" to which she says no and then leaves the auditorium to see which seats the couple can have. Leaving them sitting next to us and making us very uncomfortable. The manager comes back another 10 mins later and asks to see my tickets again. By this point the movie is starting and I'm super uncomfortable with the whole situation as the couple was very rude already. The manager then says that our movie was moved to another auditorium and (again) it's Fandango's fault that the tickets were's updated for us (even though the theater attendants directed us to the auditorium). When we get up to move to the correct auditorium, the older couple demand we apologize to them and tell me I'm a dumbass and physically get rough with my mother in law by pushing past her. The manager witnessed all of this but don't offer a word of apology, take any responsibility, or even help us find our seats in the correct auditorium. Our new seats were also in a different layout then I had purchased so they weren't in the back, center like I selected and they were next to a family who talked and made phone calls the whole movie. The movie ended late and I was so exhausted by the whole thing I couldn't even bring myself to complain at the front desk but upon reflection the next day, I feel the situation was handled EXTREMELY poorly and I really hope that supervisor learns to do their job. read more

One if the cleanest theatres I've ever frequented. The seats are leather recliners that go all the way back and have a button to heat your seat. They were wide and cushy. During covid we were able to order tickets online and once done the seats on either side are blocked off to keep distance between you and other parties. When placing your ticket order you are also able to place your snack order to be ready for pick up to minimize lines. All of our items were accounted for and placed in a large paper sack to make it easier to carry. Very happy with our visit. read more

I live in Renton and we normally go to the Southcenter AMC. But when the movie we want isn't playing at an IMAX or Dolby Theater, we go to the AMC theater in Kent because all of their theaters have recliner seats! I haven't had an issue with this AMC. It's def not the prettiest and the bathroom isn't the cleanest but the theaters are decent enough so I'm good with that! read more

Management was helpful in enrolling me to the A-list as the app had issues. I was able to sit in next to my daughter and husband. Seats were thinner than the Lakewood location, however, it was comfortable and had heating option. This was too cool!!! As soon as I walked in the gal in the front asked me if I paid for my ticket , then proceeded to ask my party the same thing after I said we paid. She never asked to see my ticket either which she should have just done IF she felt we were LYING. Anyways we buy popcorn , get a refill on the popcorn and there was a long piece of HAIR in the popcorn !! How disturbing and gross. First time back to a movie theater in probably two years. We only ever went 2-3x a year and then covid closed everything down. I love AMC but they are doing things quite differently these days. It's easy to purchase a ticket online so that is what I did. When we arrived, a quick ticket scan got us in the building. We stopped to get popcorn and a drink only to find the popcorn pre-bagged and sitting out getting cold behind the concession counter. Not a big deal if you don't mind cold stale popcorn I suppose. The theater was comfortable but it could have used a better cleaning from the prior showing. There were wrappers in a bunch of cup holders and greasy finger streaks all over the seats. I'm assuming they are having staffing challenges like most establishments at this time so I'm trying to cut them a break. Let's hope they can get back on track soon. read more

If you would like a side of pee with your movie I recommend watching a movie in theater 6 sit in seats c1-4 and you will have a lovely sensory experience. It smells something like an alley in downtown Seattle or NYC after NYE. It is the filthiest theater I've been to in a long time. Had to leave the movie the smell was so bad. read more

This theatre sits in a charming area in Kent and the theatre itself is comfortable and of good quality. Unfortunately our experience warranted two stars due to how ghetto the area surprisingly is. This sadly reflected during our movie as there was not a bit of theatre etiquette, including the people behind us taking their shoes off and resting their feet on the chairs exactly next to us, flashlights being used, nonstop loud speaking throughout the entire movie, etc. It's a shame to say we won't be going there again for these reasons. read more

Great theatre with extremely comfortable stadium seating which recline and give space between guests. In addition, you can reserve your exact seat in advance which makes for a stress free experience. As if this was not enough, I recently lost my very expensive glasses here and called to inquire. Their manager Sean not only showed genuine concern but too my details I'm case they showed up. I accepted the fact they were gone when the next day I received a call from Sean he had found my glasses!! I was shocked and grateful.
