Yesterday, I watched Michael. Great movie attached with a great experience. I enjoyed the movie. Jafaar sounds and moves like his Uncle. Great cast. If you haven't watched it, I recommend it. Laser at AMC was awesome. What stood out about the laser projection from Cinionic was the improved picture contrast, vivid color and brightness. In addition Free large popcorn for my birthday. The theater was clean along with great, prompt customer service The experience was totally worth it. A Great birthday present for myself. Thank you AMC for the great experience

Place was clean, seats were comfy since they reclined, and have heated seats. Had to turn mine off because it got a little too hot. Saw freakier Friday and it was laugh out loud. It was lazer showing apparently. Which was nice. The popcorn was a bit stale.

My boyfriend and I went here to watch the new Superman movie as he won tickets and a gift card so we figured we would use it for the occasion. However, we found out that even with the tickets he had to pay a little bit more which was annoying. Additionally, their app is really frustrating as it took my boyfriend almost an hour to get tickets as they weren't registering his password even though he just changed it. Luckily we went on Tuesday when they offer cheaper tickets and we were able to get our concessions just fine. The service here was pretty friendly and professional. The cleanliness though was questionable as the floors were littered and the area to grab more butter, napkins or sauces was messy even though it was like 10am in the morning. I don't like that their recliners don't really go all the way, or maybe I just happened to be unlucky with my seat. I think I will stick with Century Theaters as I can get a better experience for way less and without much hassle of their rewards program.

The box ticket line and concession line and bearable. The theater is clean, the seat inclined and comfortable.

Came in for a LotR, Two Towers rescreening. Tickets were purchased in advance, on-line. The lobby is large and sunny with a good size snack bar. Tickets are scanned as soon as you enter. There are hallways off the either side of the lobby to the theaters with restrooms in both directions. The theater was quite large. The seats are also quite large with cup holders, they recline and are heated! My sore back really enjoyed that heat. Mmm mm. The sound quality in the theater is excellent. Much better than in my local theater (not AMC) and I appreciated being able to hear everything without feeling like my ear drums were being ripped open. So yea. Film clarity was also excellet. The theater was kept cool. We parked close to the theater and there are plenty of parking areas in the shopping plaza where the theater is located. We arrived early and found parking easily. When we exited the movie the lots were full, so do plan extra time to park.

Heated recliners in auditorium 9 (digital)! View from G7

Two words: heated recliners I think that's enough to make this my favorite theater in the area. I personally prefer comfy seats over larger screen or better audio. I saw someone else mention in their review that the Dolby and IMAX theaters here do not have the heated recliners, so I didn't want to risk missing out and went with good old digital for my viewing of Captain America: Brave New World. It was in Auditorium 9 and I got seat G7. With the wall partition between rows I didn't even know if there was anyone sitting directly in front of me. $19.09 for 1 ticket including fees for a 6:00 PM Thursday showing. $11.88 for a kids combo which includes kids size popcorn, fruit snacks, and bottled water which I switched for a kids size fountain soda + a cup of nacho cheese. Someone once introduced me to dipping popcorn in nacho cheese and it's been my go to movie snack ever since! Bonuses for this location is self serve butter topper and Coke freestyle machines. Theater and bathrooms were clean on my visit. A downside is there wasn't any seating in the lobby, so I walked around looking at the movie poster stands while waiting for my theater to be ready since I got there so early. I ate dinner elsewhere this time, but the theater vicinity seems to have good food options like Dough Zone, WingStop and a ramen place I should try sometime.

I went to the movies this evening. I have an A List Membership. So I go to the AMC 2-3 times a week. At the Southend Restrooms there was a missing screw on the bottom of the partition. It's a slow night and found 3 other dirty toilets. It seems even in down time, staff does not check the restrooms for unflushed toilets. Some theater goers don't know where the flush button is if the self toilets don't flush.

AMC Kent Station is our go to for whenever anime movies come out in theaters and our go to whenever a time doesnt work out at our local theater. Maintained theater, clean seats, decent staff, sound is loud, and the theater is dark for the movies. Seats are recliners. Popcorn still is good only for a duration of a movie and once its past an hour of the movie, the popcorn will be stale. Overall, will still continue to visit.

A manager came over to help and confirmed that my ticket purchase didn't go through, but she never made me feel dumb about it. She just said, "We can get those tickets purchased here," and she rang me up at the concession stand. The lobby, women's bathrooms, and theater were all pretty clean. And there was a large selection of popcorn buckets (merch) for multiple movies (Moana, Minions & Monsters, Supergirl, and one of two others I can't recall). Really, the only thing that was less than desirable was the popcorn; I think they scraped the bottom of the machine for me, because we got a large popcorn but most of the bucket had tiny pieces. Overall, I love this theater, especially the recliner seats.

After I got off the phone, a manager and a staff member came up asking if I needed anything. They then proceeded to give me a full refund of the ticket, including my food, even though I'd already gotten my candy and opened it. And they let me keep the open bag of candy. I've always had a good experience at this movie theater and I'd expect them to give me a refund if I'd asked for one, but it felt special to have them proactively go out of their way to make sure I'd be alright and to provide that refund without me asking.

Ok so we just went to see Minions & Monsters here yesterday. We got the kid ticket price ($7.50-$9)…read moreplus went matinee hours (4:45pm show for $2-$6 less). These were regular tickets, save the XD (+$3) and Real3D (+$5) for the blockbuster action movies. For the fam go low budget so it doesn't kill your pocketbook too much. We got the minions popcorn tin so we could get a free refill (and honestly we use them a lot at home) plus the kids got slurpees (a great way to cool off on a hot day). Save some money and eat near by before after, and skip your candy... it's always marked up and less and less candy in the packaging. Parking is always easy. Google Maps tends to tell you to enter on the south side of the mall off 324th. I tend to park on the north side off 320th between Target and the main mall entrance and rarely have issues finding a spot. Staff doesn't sit at the main kiosk in the mall they are either all the way back at the front counter of the concession stand or in a greeter table near the entrance to the theater. I suspect they are trying to keep costs low by reducing staff outside of peak hours. Staff was friendly and tentative. When they were doing other tasks and not at their regular station they quickly came over as soon as they spotted us. The cashier even helped me identify if I had a membership with them to save a few bucks. The theater was the standard theater and largely empty aside from 2 other couples and one family. Everything was clean. I guess those are bonuses for matinee hours. All seats in the theater appeared to be powered recliners that lay back pretty far. The seats remained comfortable throughout the movie and right up to my kiddo's 1 hour and 30 minute tolerance of movies. These recliners are a life saver for kiddos. A lot of theaters have recliners but many are just semi-reclining seats. These are the real deal, footrest, cup holders, and all. Note: Online the seats maps show in pairs with big gaps between them but in truth they are all side by side with double arm rest wide between each pair so the whole fam can sit together. Overall it is an expensive day out at I believe $41 (plus food and tin) for the three of us (1 adult and 2 kids) but then again it seems you can't go out for a meal for two under $50 in most cases anymore. So to recap, save money with the fam by doing the matinee, remember kids are reduced ticket price, avoid crowds by going during the day in general, sign up for membership if you can swing it to get discounts, buy the tin fir an extra refill and reuse at home later.

Shockingly great movie theater. Was not expecting it to be so nice and so clean. Worth a trip!read more

Everything felt well run and thoughtfully managed. One thing that really impressed me as a parent was the staff member monitoring the entrance and exit. He was incredibly attentive. He recognized us, noticed our child, and was clearly keeping track of who was coming and going. Of course, you should always watch your own kids, but having someone that alert adds a huge layer of peace of mind. We used a Groupon, and if you have ever used one, you know it can sometimes be a hassle, but not here. The process was seamless. A staff member radioed ahead for us, and by the time we got to the snack counter, they already knew what to do. No waiting, no confusion. We were set up immediately and on our way. That level of coordination was impressive. Every game we tried was working perfectly, including VR games, which is rare in most arcades. Even smaller details, like all the basketballs being available at the Papa Shot machines, did not go unnoticed. The kids' drop ride was a huge hit with my daughter, and the claw machines, which guarantee a prize, were a fun bonus, especially as a way to end the visit on a high note. The prize center was also well balanced, with reasonable ticket costs and fun options. They had some great games too, like rhythm games and classics, that made it enjoyable for both kids and adults. The real surprise was the food. We ordered pizza expecting typical arcade food, but it exceeded expectations by a mile. It was soft, fresh, and genuinely delicious, easily better than what you would find at places like Chuck E. Cheese. The entire dining area was spotless, which is almost unheard of in venues like this. Tables were clean. Floors were clean. Everything felt cared for. The service continued to impress throughout. Our food came out quickly, and when we finished, the staff handled all the cleanup. We actually went out of our way to find cash just to leave a tip because the service deserved it. We originally came for the full experience, including batting cages, laser tag, go karts, and mini golf, but honestly, even before doing any of that, I can confidently say this place is incredibly well run. Based on everything we experienced, I have no doubt the rest will be just as great. If you are a parent looking for a fun, safe, and well managed place for your kids that you will actually enjoy too, this is it.

Over the years the technology they use doesn't seem to be keeping up, where things will glitch causing lots of time and effort to get the tickets earned reflected on your card. Luckily we took a picture of the ticket rings that were won at the claw machine prior to adding them onto the card, but even after that, it was still a big hassle where management seemed suspicious that we were trying to dupe them out of tickets that were earned properly. What was surprising is that they didn't even bring the staff member over that scanned the ticket rings initially to confirm she had added the tickets. After adjusting the tickets, my card account was still active on the board, so I went back and checked to make sure it was closed out properly to avoid any further ticket issues. I asked the original staff member if she remembers adding my tickets, and she said she did but we should be good now as this was a system glitch. I accepted the explanation and took that as issue closure. Later when we went to pick prizes, another "lead" employee approached me (wish I would've taken her name), and immediately accused me of being rude and aggressive towards the staff member that added my original tickets. As a lead, I would have expected her to ask me if there was any issues with the employee, instead of outright accusing the customer. I asked her to clarify what was taken as rude or threatening, as I never raised my voice or said anything out of line even though this issue took some time to resolve. She wouldn't give me any specifics but just warned me to not be rude. Instead of getting into any further back and forth with her, I decided to just pick a few prizes and leave. I found it very unprofessional for the lead to approach me in that manner, while the Manager Tabitha didn't step in, even being close by. If something was said that was perceived as rude, let's bring everyone together and hash it out. I can guarantee *God as my witness* that I never said anything offensive, threatening, or rude to any of the staff members. All I did was provide details and proof that there was a system glitch and the tickets that had previously been added were not on the card. At no point did I ever blame or fault anyone at FFC for this issue. Rich Yee, if you'd like to discuss this matter with me directly please reach out.

The AUBURN AVE offers a wide and diverse season of shows that play to and involve people of all walks of life. Community Arts as a whole is often mis-labeled and expected to be held to the unrealistic standard of professional theatre. We all have a place in this community and it really upsets me that people don't see the importance of exposing people to the arts. Everyone in the community get a chance to be involved and THAT is what strengthens and builds a community. The review posted earlier today (1/7/22) was disrespectful, unfounded and in poor taste. I have been in touch with the man in charge whom just finished a sold out production of ELF the musical. This not only had the largest cast but also managed to succeed despite Covid 19 restrictions and it being performed during the hectic holiday season. I hope that people will read this and realize that the arts are what make us human and help us to explore , dream and connect. Anything that stops that is taking us away from its purpose. Also, we finished our escape room early and the employee there let us try five minutes of another virtual reality simulation because we hadn't used up our full hour with the other one. I was very impressed by their integrity with that, especially since we just had five minutes left and certainly wouldn't have noticed. Extra details: Half hour activities are $25 per person. One hour activities are $40 per person. They have options like laser tag, active shooter simulations (like shooting zombies and stuff), a few random simulations like cooking, and lots of virtual reality escape rooms. They have a lot of options, and the virtual reality gear is always clean. I've only done the escape rooms and they're actually pretty challenging. You can get hints within the simulation if you need them, and there's a constant timer as to how much time you have left. Final thoughts: It's a little spendy and virtual reality itself is always a little disorienting, but it's a very fun activity and team building exercise to do with friends or family!
