As we wrap up our late father's estate, we are dealing with many different issues and companies. Among all of the people and processes involved, Sam's patience and accountability really stood out as he helped us get a good, quick and well-explained resolution on our dad's insurance matters. We really appreciate his help and his attitude. Thanks Sam and Park Insurance.

What an absolute joke of a service you offer…read more Our storage locker at our home was broken into and a couple thousand dollars of our belongings were stolen. We are in the midst of filing a claim, or at least were until we were told by a helpful employee at Northbridge that submitting a claim would raise our insurance rates by 25% for five years. Nobody at Park informed us of this (obviously important) factor. So with a $500 deductible, +25% added to the rate we pay now, we'd actually lose money in the long run if you boneheads did anything at all for us. So we had our belongings stolen and the insurance company we pay for moments exactly like these is not only not going to help us at all, they are going to penalize us for using their 'service'. This is predatory business and anyone that works at this money gouging company should be completely ashamed of themselves. How dare you take advantage of vulnerable people in a time of need!? Absolutely disgusting. I am forced to pay $1200 a year for a service that is supposed to protect me and my family and instead you shake us down for even more money because somebody took a door off its hinges and cut our lock to take our possessions? You don't even tell us you're going to raise our rates? Your business model of "just take everyone's money and promise to protect them but actually just take more money" is one of the most morally bankrupt things I've ever encountered in my life. FUCK YOU.

I really recommend East Village Insurance - call and ask for Rob, he'll take care of you!…read more I've had some less than average experiences with several insurance brokers for my car, home and RV insurance. These places have been under-informed, didn't offer or explain much, were cranky and no fun to deal with, and just rushed through the process to get me out the door. Today was my first time dealing with EV Insurance and it was awesome. After a brief consultation on the phone I went into the location. Rob walked me through several options for my vehicle insurance, I learned some new things along the way, and was able to make an informed decision on my RV insurance purchase for the upcoming season. I think I'll move my other insurance business over here when it's time to renew next! I could tell Rob knew what we was talking about and has experience in what he does - he was up front and a pleasure to deal with. They seem like a good local business to go out and support!

Highly recommend AMC Insurance and Fred Ng! In contrast, our experience at BCAA in Yaletown was disappointing. Not sure why she didn't simply proceed with what was asked for. We did end up with new plates ( as requested) but didn't need the lengthy talk. She said it was her job to explain the difference in price. Nope. Her job is to perhaps briefly say is was more expensive but then simply complete the customer's order. No hard sell of old plates. My elderly husband urgently needed to use their washroom but was denied. A list of restaurants and grocery store was given. Not nice to shuffle us off to other merchants ( that we weren't using). All in all painfully slow service. She was pleasant enough but don't go if you are looking for timely service. The 2 other clerks looked up but didn't intervene to speed up the simple transaction.
