The seats are trash. They call them recliners. I am not impressed. We came in when it wasn't busy. Went over to macguffins. No bartender. There was a sign that said to ask an associate. There were at least 7 chatting over to the side that saw us. They were totally out of the D20, which is why we came in the first place. The last one they had was reserved for a worker. We were gonna buy it from her got $50. She said she had another offer for $60. The theatre was so loud when the ads started, ppl were waiting until the movie started to even go inside. I will never go to AMC again.

    Hallway, clean theatre.

I've been here several times as a frequent visitor to Waco and like the changes they have made. I know more AMC theatres have switched to the automatic soda machines which makes the process go faster and the seats are nice in the theatre. Price point is great! But I am comparing that to the prices in the Dallas area where it cost way too much. Overall, this is a great theatre in Waco I would highly recommend to others!

    Comfy seats and great screens!

The facility is so dirty. My feet were sticking to the ground, popcorn was all over the seats. So disappointing.

The theater is clean however the issue is not enough employees. The workers are nice, but they seemed overwhelmed. The facility was clean!

I wasn't asking for much just to be able to come by and see the possible space that we would be using and get the particulars on how much it would cost us or if it would take a percentage of the ticket sales that kind of thing. Several days went by without a response. So I actually called and got The Lovable Miss Congeniality herself Michelle who was about as helpful as a snake bite in the desert with no medical. She explained to me there's only one person that can help me and that's aaron. Turns out it took another several days to total an exact week before he got back to me. I responded by both Facebook Messenger phone text email and it was still another 4 days. After that I gave him a few Choice words and said I would be looking elsewhere which I did. So I narrowed it down to a couple in the area but did not like the pricing from those other venues so I thought it would go back to Hippodrome one more time and give them a second chance...bad idea. This second time when I emailed unfortunately Aaron was up to his old tricks and after hours and hours from an email that I sent which I know we got cuz he's a younger guy he's younger people get their texts and emails instantly they look at them and then decide whether to respond or not. I'm quite certain he looked at it and decided again like he did back in February not to respond in a timely manner and thus we're pulling the plug on any hope with the hippodrome theater and leaving them this well-deserved bad review. As far as a spectator I saw the Eagles wanna group a few years ago... it's like a tribute group to the Eagles and we were up in the balcony and it wasn't very comfortable and you had to kind of see through either the beams or some of the hand railing. It wasn't a very pleasant experience up there in the balcony. Other reviews have said that the food really sucks and is horrible. I don't know about that I cannot comment on that. The physical location seems cool because its historic it is right downtown Waco but they're giving this Historic Landmark a huge black eye by having p*ss poor customer service, ...actually nonexistent customer service.

It was a fun experience and much busier than we expected. We really didn't know what to expect going in, but the museum focuses more on the history of Dr Pepper and the soft drink industry than on interactive exhibits. One interesting thing we learned is that the museum is actually a nonprofit organization and is not operated by the Dr Pepper company. We also did the "Make Your Own Soda" experience. It was fun and unique, although it seemed to be geared more toward younger kids. Your general admission ticket also includes a free drink, which was a nice bonus. The gift shop was well stocked with some unique Dr Pepper merchandise that we hadn't seen anywhere else, although it was a little small and could get crowded. Parking was easy and conveniently located across the street for $10. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the experience. If you're already visiting Waco, I definitely recommend stopping by. However, I probably wouldn't make the trip to Waco just for the museum alone.

As a longtime Dr Pepper enthusiast, I especially enjoyed learning about the brand's history and seeing how it has evolved over the years. Admission is very reasonably priced, around $10-$12 per person, and children ages 3 and under are admitted free. The museum is well-maintained, clean, and organized across three floors of exhibits and historical displays. Since it's a self-guided experience, you can explore at your own pace. I'd estimate most visitors will spend about 1 to 1.5 hours here, though history buffs could easily spend closer to two hours. After touring the museum, be sure to stop by the gift shop, which offers a wide selection of Dr Pepper memorabilia and merchandise. Needless to say, I left with more than a few items. One of the highlights of the visit is the complimentary soda included with admission. Each ticket comes with a voucher that can be redeemed at the soda fountain, where the drink is prepared right in front of you. It has a slightly different taste than what you might be used to, but I found it refreshing and enjoyable. There is also an additional area with more historical displays and information to browse while enjoying your drink. Overall, this was a fun and worthwhile experience. Whether you're a dedicated Dr Pepper fan or simply interested in a unique piece of Texas history, the museum is well worth a visit.

Do watch the 45-minute film before touring the museum which helped me appreciate the exhibits as it ties the TRs with almost every aspect of Texas history. There are interactive exhibits so you can pick up and feel the weight of a TR gun. And there are somber reminders of the most famous Waco incident.
