got the AMC stubs, but Helen for sure ruined my experience. I immediately cancelled my membership after she denied me the entrance to a movie after showing my ID. I understand it's their job but if I'm showing you I have an active stubs and my ID, then it's never that serious. Clearly she has issues with herself since she basically threatened to call the cops. I'm legit just a 5 foot girl, I just wanted to see a movie which I have been paying for with my membership. def ruined my experience, will not be getting the stubs again. Helen SUCKS, clearly from reading other comments. called customer service and filed a complaint against her, they were kind enough to offer me a voucher for my bad experience. at least I know it's not the company but this person who is making AMC look bad. read more

We went to watch anime movie. I've watched the other movie prequel in Dolby and it was loud @ amc 30 in mesquite. I paid more $ for a Dolby Experience sound at this one. And the sound was as if I watched it in a digital. Do not pay for a Dolby experience at this firewheel. Unless if they fix save your money. read more

Bad experience this time. I went to see the Accountant 2 on May 18th at 3:20pm. The closed captioning device wouldn't work. This is not unheard of as I've experienced this at multiple theaters: AMC, Cinemark, B&B. I spent $23 on snacks. So I tell the customer service about it. The lady in charge continues to talk to me with a mask on even though it is clear that I'm hearing impaired. They refunded my money for the movie but now I'm out $23 on snacks. Usually, the theater is apologetic and gives me a free ticket for next time to make up for their accessibility features not working. I have been to this location before and they gave me free tickets for a future film about a year ago after their closed captioning device didn't work. Plus, they refunded my ticket and they were apologetic. These employees were not accommodating. Apparently, they need a new management that knows how to be "disability" friendly and learn how to deal with HOH and deaf people! Based on past reviews, the lady that gave me a hard time was Helen. So many bad reviews of interactions of Helen, AMC firewheel needs to replace her! No worries on my end as I won't ever be returning! I told Helen that since it appears you guys aren't disability friendly with the management you have in place. read more

I ordered 2 nachos with extra cheese. The cheese was so clumpy and dry that it wasn't edible. I went back to exchange the cheese and I got two more. They were worse than the first ones. I have had nachos before many time and this time was the worst. The movie was good but the employees could care less about service. I was there 5 minutes before opening and there were about 15 people there waiting in the cold. No concern about letting people into the warmth. Also they didn't know if we should go inside or outside to buy tickets. Horrible. I will go see movies but will never buy refreshments. read more

My wife and I went to watch Oppenheimer (a long movie). Pretty good movie. The seats in the theater were not all the comfy for that length of period though. We bought our tickets online so that was easy, the popcorn and drink were kiosk style but the candy is hanging in the lobby for you to choose. Pretty good experience overall. read more

This theatre has reached a whole new level of pathetic. The picture attached shows the quality of the concessions. This is what we received without taking anything out. The pretzel bites were dripping with grease and yet, still hard. Somehow they were hot and the other half of the same bite was cold. The cheese was missing even though it was part of the description. The seasoning was barely there. The popcorn in this container wasn't full and the bag of popcorn my son purchased was also half full. The drink machines were out of ice and all of the condiments for the hot dogs were gone. It was the most unorganized and confusing scene. It's atrocious anyone can even call this a business. Our next movie night will be Strike and a reel down the street. At least they're clean. read more

This is the first negative yelp review I've ever felt the need to type, but I also haven't felt disrespected by a customer service worker the way the manager, Helen has left me feeling today. I was looking forward to seeing Happy Gilmore on the last day it was in theaters, but forgot my ID at home. Showing a photograph of my License was not enough for her to let me see the movie. I have been an AMC subscription member for 5 years and will be canceling my subscription because of the interaction. Not only was Helen extremely distasteful for a customer service employee (rolling eyes and impolite manner) but I feel as though having a manager like this will deter future customers from purchasing tickets at this theater location. read more

Haven't been to a movie since Covid and I'm not a big fan of anything Disney but the grandkids wanted to see Elements, it was good. Movie supposed to start @ 1145 and we are still watching previews at 1215 and a few of them were not suitable for under 12, I gotta ask AMC why the would screen PG-13 movies at a G showing? The outside was filthy, garbage all over the place, kinda sketchy was preparing for the worst but got inside & The place was clean. 1st staff encounter at concession stand was great, super friendly. The 2nd was about a 1/4 thru movie and youngest had to use restroom, while out there I spot an employee and ask if they could turn down the air In theatre, it was pretty warm. She said I could go ask the manager? Yeah, let me go find the manager you lazy s$&t Not likely to return to this place. read more

Never had such an abysmal experience at a movie theater before. Between me and my friends the AC seems to always be broken every time any of us has been there and the "luxury recliners" are in shambles. Mess and food everywhere every time I go which is ridiculous considering the tickets for dolby atmos are like $20. Even more absurd is the fact that the soda machines were out of half the flavors and our popcorn was old and soggy. This was during an 8:00PM showing on a weekend so ig they just serve the same batch they make that morning or something. My latest and last time visiting they made me pay for my tickets a second time because I only had a picture of my ID and not the physical ID itself which has never happened to me at any other location. Its absurd that they are that uptight about IDs when the bar INSIDE their movie theater didn't even ask for my ID. read more

This is a clean theater. I haven't been to a movie outing in years. I took my daughter because it was the national $4 day. We went to see the Barbie movie thingy. The restrooms was clean. Theater 8 was clean. The entire place was clean. But the one complaint I think everybody will complain about is the price of that damn food makes no sense at all. read more

I saw Furiosa on Sunday, and was really disappointed with the air conditioning, or " lack thereof". They had the air turned on in the halls, restrooms, Cafe and common walking areas, however when I got into the theatre room, it was obviously off. Who are they fooling, by turning it off in one part of the building "during the movie" to save money. It was 100 degrees outside. I will never be back!! read more

Tickets are way too expensive for such an uncomfortable experience. The seats are old, unsupportive, and we left with sore hips and knees. The angle is weird and we had to readjust our position several times. The restroom sinks had ice cold water in both men's and women's restrooms. It wasn't the theater's fault but the group in the row in front of ours was loud and disruptive, I'm not sure if that's common at this location. The temperature was about 10 degrees too warm. Decided to wake up and bring in 2022 with kids watching Spider-Man. Walked up to purchase the 1st showing at noon and the negativity started. The young lady was curt and not friendly. As we walked to the main building, the ticket taker was leaning and horrible body language. When I told Happy New Year..nothing. You can't start a new year watching a movie without warm popcorn. Nope expensive cold popcorn that you need to ask for butter. The movie room was clean, comfortable and restrooms were clean but the customer service was horrible. AMC you want us back, train your young staff that greeting us in a positive way will get us back sooner rather than later. read more

Nice to be able to but tix online; select tour seat location before arrival in the Dolby & 3D cinemas. Extensive snack options even include Chicken & Waffles! Serve yourself drinks, but they were out of every regular drink option - no Coke, no DP, no Mr Pibb. Thankfully, the McGuffins bar was open - minimal bar choices were available. One bar customer complained about the prices while I was at the bar, but heck - it is a movie theatre - not a dive bar. Prices were comparable to concert drinks. Power recliner seats in the Dolby theatres were very comfortable. Floors in theatre needed to be swept, but overall - the experience was good! read more

They changed the popcorn container it's a flimsy carton. Popcorn gets stale faster. Several flavors on Soda machines are out or machine doesn't work at all. Went at 8:30 am Sunday morning and theater is dirty. Floors are sticky. read more

A large family of 8 was sat in a row of about 12 open seats, including my seat that I paid for, and refused to move. I got a worker to try to get them to move but she just sat me in a different open seat. Well those open seats were purchased by someone else who kicked me out of my seat(rightfully so, they paid for them) and I was left with nowhere to sit. Ended up getting a refund. Not going back if they can't enforce their seating policy and I won't be getting the seats I paid for. Also didn't refund me the whole $13 I paid for my ticket. They only refunded $10 to my card read more

Lower the price on drinks and popcorn! I paid $36 for two popcorns and two drinks! Most disorganized process in obtaining these items and way overpriced which now will keep me home. Now I know what I haven't been missing. Not a good way to survive as a business! read more

My husband and I came here on a Tuesday night. Our movie started around 8:45 and we got there around 8:30 to grab a some beers and get settled. The bar was dark so we went up to the concession stand to ask if it was open. They closed at 8 which most movie theater bars stay open way later. It was a bummer, but not a huge deal. The seats in our theater were extremely uncomfortable. To the point where I just wanted the movie to end so I could get up. It's not a terrible theater, but it definitely needs a revamp. If we're paying $13 a ticket, I would much rather enjoy having more room and the recliner seats. I don't think it's changed since I was in high school. And that was over 10 years ago. read more

What horrible service! We drove 35 minutes to this theater and they cancelled the movie right when we arrived due to an issue with the theater's ceiling. Why did they even sell tickets if that theater was closed! It would be nice if they at least offered a gift card for all the people totally inconvenienced. The ruined date night. read more

We went to Monster Hunter in theater 1 at the 5:10 showing. The volume was so loud it was physically painful. We had to plug our ears for the action scenes and partially plug them for the conversations. it was excruciating. We've both attended heavy metal concerts and stood in front of the amp stacks and had less discomfort. We are both in our 50s too, so this is AFTER our inevitable hearing loss. We asked them to turn it down, and they said "We've done all we can" and then they tried to blame it on Dolby, like Dolby is somehow unique to their theater. We walked out after 20 minutes, at $20 a damn seat! Never going back. read more

Came to see First Man. Theatre 18 was not cleaned between shows, and the theatre seats are disgusting. We were greeted by trash in our purchased seats and upholstery that's so badly stained, I'm certain my clothes are going to be dirty from sitting through the movie. Do not pay extra for the dolby theater with "heated" seats and sit through 3 hours + of the Avatar 2 movie on a cold day. There is no heat in the theater and the seats are not warm enough to keep your limbs from going numb. They should provide electric blankets at the cost of these tickets. read more

I don't remember what movie I watched, but it was uncomfortable going there. The captions device was bothersome, and the seating was not that great to sit in after an hour and a half. I prefer to go to local movie theaters designed to serve movie lovers to come to watch movies in a comfortable and enjoyable space. I expected a better presentation of their facility, especially since there was a lot of time to take care of those issues before businesses opened up after pandemic. Sunday was Funday, I saw two fun movies, Marvel's Thor and DC's Justice League...I'm such a comic book geek...lol. So, seeing it play out on the big screen, is a dream come true. Kaboom!!! My head explodes... I saw one movie in an IMAX theater and the other was a regular (screen) theater...Firewheel is a nice theater - After iPic Theater in Allen (Fairview), TX...You'll view every theater differently...especially the seating. The seats are old an antiquated in most of the theaters, the sound is good in all the theaters ...If you get an opportunity, try their Dolby theater, it has electronic reclining seats that are very comfortable and the glowing red lighted sound system is "state of art"... Updating the seats would improve the movie watching experience in the other theaters...However, 5 minutes in I wasn't thinking about the seats...I'm a geek for real...lol read more

Came here last night to watch Antman & the Wasp. The young lady at the ticket counter was friendly & smiled throughout us getting our tickets setting a positive tone to start the evening. Same for the young lady checking tickets inside at the entrance. Once we got to the snack area to order large popcorn & soda the lady at the register was the complete opposite, looked like she was ready for her shift to end as she was ringing out transactions. The popcorn was freshly made which is always a plus & soda was good. The movie was hilarious! As we were watching the post credit scenes the staff did not wait and started to clean all around us, so we decided to stand up in the corner so they could continue about their business. This would have easily been 4 to 5 Stars, just need a little more work on details with the customer experience. read more
