I really enjoyed my appointment at Ambrosia and highly recommend this spa. Most importantly the facility was very clean and well maintained. Joann was a great masseuse, making sure to ask me how I was feeling and made me very comfortable during my visit. I will be booking more appointments! read more

I have been a long time client and have benefitted from their ability to provide different techniques for whatever ailment I may have or I just need a good message. They have always tried to work with me to get me in as soon as possible. I drive from Battle Creek to visit this salon and I highly recommend it. read more

Massage itself was NOT bad but in my criteria expensive (70 usd). Worse was to "insist and nearly force you to tip" what they consider mandatory. Maybe was the therapist, can't blame the place but sure I will not come back here. Sorry this was my experience... read more

George was amazing! He applied pressure where needed and listened very well. Great conversations and his hands are really strong if you are looking for deep tissue! read more

I love the fact that I can usually get in within a day or two, Ian does an amazing job at making me feel comfortable and relaxed. I had always been apprehensive of seeing a man for a massage but he took away any concerns I had. He is extremely professional and very kind. I like how he asks Me how I'm doing and what concerns I have regarding my body. I believe he truly cares about his clients and their wellbeing, and because of that it makes me feel at ease. He will definitely be my "go to" therapist. Thank you for providing such a wonderful service. read more

I've just moved to the area and based on Yelp ratings selected Ambrosia for my first massage in Kalamazoo, and I'm so glad I did! I paid $90 for a 75 minute massage and had Karen as my therapist. She seemed to know just what I needed. I'm so relaxed right now...and some of my discomfort I had is now gone. I'm so elated to have found Karen. I will definitely be back soon!! read more

My overall experience was great. They have a system in place for handling COVID during this time that makes you feel comfortable. Their new location is much better than the last and is much safer to get to from the road. They were very attentive to my needs without asking too many questions. I went in feeling tense and stressed and left feeling relieved. I will definitely go back and recommend to others. read more

Setup a surpise massage here and what a great place this turned out to be! Very low-key and the girl did an absolute amazing job with the hot stone massage.. I had no idea where to go for massage in the area and found this on a whim and decided to try it out.. Great place Def go here, especially if you were considering M-SPA .. they actually treat customers with respect here! read more

I went to ambrosia while in town for business. I know it's not always easy to find a nice spa with high quality massage therapists. But that is exactly what this place is. I was greeted by my massage therapist, Cheryl, right away. She was so hospitable as soon as I entered, making me feel very comfortable. She took the time to work on all my problem areas while teaching me how to maintain the results of my massage release therapy. Two days later and I still feel amazing! I'm very thankful for what an educational and professional session I had. read more

I don't generally review a massage spa after one visit, but this little center deserves it! My husband and I get massages a few times a month and decided to venture out from our normal place. We always do couples massage and they have the atmosphere designed perfectly for it. The room was in dark muted colors, serene and clean. Our two therapists reviewed our unique issues and set about to getting us relief. My husband was in just the. Grinning of plantar fasciitis and his therapist used ashi style services to relieve it. My massage was excellent. We have already made reservations for another appointment and plan to increase to an hour and a half and include add-on services such as hot stone Ambrosia is the ultimate massage therapy in Kalamazoo. Their massage therapists are trained in MRT, Ashi, cupping and can help relieve aching tight muscles! I've been with them almost a year now! I'm so happy we discovered them! Their rooms are tranquil and serene. While your body is massages your mind is relaxed. I always leave feeling so much better! read more

Sarah is the best massage therapist I've ever seen! Her work gives me immense relief from severe chronic pain.

Wow! From the moment I walked in, I could tell that this was going to be a good experience. The lobby area has great ambiance - it is quiet, smells great, and has a relaxing feel to it. The rooms are peaceful as well. Sarah did an awesome job with my massage. I had tons of neck and shoulder pain, and she worked on those areas for a good long time, but made time to give me a well-rounded massage as well. Very professional and soothing massage. I feel great. GO HERE! You can immediately tell the difference between a place like this and a more "commercial" feeling franchise/spa. read more

The 60 minute couples core massage was the best way to start our Sunday morning. Susan and Ian where both amazing, professional, and well educated. We left relaxed and ready to schedule our next massage!! By far the best massages we've had. read more

When I first moved to town a few years ago, a friend gave me a coupon for a massage here, and since the first day, I was hooked. Love the relaxing ambience, waiting area, friendly and flexible staff, extended hours, including weekends, and quality of the massages. Everything from Swedish massages, hot stones, couples massages - are all excellent. Everyone is attentive to every little detail, from getting you a nice bottle of water when you arrive, to making sure the pressure is just right during the massages - I'm a loyal customer for sure. And recommend this place to all my friends. read more

Very nice place. I had one of the best massages here. It was clean, the ambiance was perfect (essential oils and quiet music). The pressure of the masseuse was perfect. I felt refreshed after. The price was not bad. Will definitely go again. read more

I am literally speechless. Charles is probably my most favorite person in the entire world! I had severe neck pain that had been bothering me for about a month. I was hesitant to go to the doctors because I did not want to be handed hard pain medications and sent on my way. Charles focused on my neck for a good half an hour and ahh it feels amazing! He even went over 10 minutes of my 60 minute session and then apologized! I was like umm no thank you!! Seriously I would recommend Charles and Ambrosia to everyone! read more

Best massage I've had so far in Kalamazoo. I've made same day appointments twice as well. Very calming environment and friendly service. If I had one criticism it would be to remove the electronic "ding" upon entering, kind of kills the vibe. Maybe replace it with a traditional bell? read more

I will be back again and again. Great massage every time. Very good customer service with a variety of massage types. Well trained staff and a great location. Sarah is my favorite! read more

Very professional. Great ambiance. Super happy with the couples massage. I highly recommend Ambrosia.

Awesome massage. Focused on areas that needed it most and checked in with me on pressure.

Now I understand the consistent 5 star reviews. Got a surprise massage set up and looked at Yelp reviews before I went in. Was hoping I'd have a similar experience as pretty much every review on Yelp. Got a surprise massage set up, first...I was a little shocked they were open on a Sunday as some spas are not open on Sundays so this was a very big pro. Walked in and the place smelled so soothing and calm. I agree with the 1 comment made, removing the ding when you walk in but I understand why it's there. I had Ian as my massage therapist and he addressed all my concerns. It was probably one of the best massages I've had and walked out feeling amazing. I will definitely be back!! read more

One of the worst experiences of my life. This was my first time receiving a professional massage because it was valentine's day, so the Saturday of 2/14/18 my partner surprised me. I had a white woman with brown hair give me a massage while my partner was receiving a massage from a blond white man. I was in so much pain during the massage I wanted to scream. The massage therapists failed to tell me that certain levels of pain are not normal during massages. This was my first time receiving one, so I did not know any better. I am a college student who doesn't usually partake in this kind of lifestyle. I also had a cupping session during. I think she left the cups too long on my neck and beat my neck to a pulp with her severely inexperienced massage because I could not even turn my head an hour after the massage because of how much pain I was in. This was no joke. I wanted to cry every time I turned my head during the day and at bed. This pain lasted about 2 months. I was in an extremely worse condition than I was in before. I had never had any kind of neck pains or problems before my visit to Ambrosia. I am a healthy 20 year old vegetarian who works out regularly with a healthy weight. This neck pain was extremely damaging and prevented me from being able to do well in school because I could not have my head tilted downwards for too long without severe pain flashes not turn my head at all and after a certain point too quickly. I called them back after about 2 weeks and they offered me a complimentary massage. The manager's tone during my initial phone call was condescending and rude because he asked me to call back a day later if the pain persisted. Of course it did, and then they offered me a complimentary massage. This was not ideal for me because I had to pay for ubers there and back, a inconvenience they did not offer to reimburse me for. the same white man who massaged my partner massaged me and I felt ever so slightly better after. However, my neck pains persisted for months after this. At least 2. Only just this may has my neck reverted back to some kind of decent state where I am not in pain 24/7. But, I now have to crack it often because if its too still for a long period of time the same pain flashes arise. I saw a therapist in April about this and she suggested that I need muscle neurotherapy because I still had severe inflammation in my neck which has affected my back severely. Hence, the neck pain has grown and persists into my left shoulder blade now. I know this because when my neck hurts, my shoulder does too and vice verse. This therapist said the person who worked on me before did a horrible, damaging job to my body. Like I said, one of the worst experiences of my life! If I were to ever go to another massage place again, I would research the individual qualifications of the massage therapists or ask for them before you let them touch you! Especially if your coming here. read more
