I didn't have a single stressful moment my wedding day and it was all because of Allen and his amazing team. Tent was set up the day before and Allen was there to make sure of it and even sent me a sneak peak to get me all excited. Natalie, the hair and make up artist, was on time and followed exactly what I wanted. My hair and make up lasted ALL NIGHT! The fact that she is the friendliest sweetest person is just the cherry on top. Flowers: had to be delivered to 3 different locations by a certain time, and of course they delivered amazing flowers. We did mock a few months before and changed a few things, and the talented Amanda followed that exactly! One of the most memorable experiences was having the time alone with my husband in the Tbird! So much fun driving with the top down! It was delivered at the chapel as requested and picked up at the venue and arranged, all by Allen! Photo booth was maned at all times and set up was quick! So many fun pictures we got from our guest! It was a wonderful idea! The DJ answered all my questions before the wedding and had great recommendations for songs we hand't picked. We were sold when Allen said they typically have couples do a practice photoshoot before your engagement shoot. There they will teach to how to stand and pose, so that your wedding photos will look more comfortable. Wow! Such attention to detail! Walter, our photographer, was Amazing! He was professional, funny, took beautiful shots, and captured exactly what we asked. He also threw in some surprise shots as well. For the wedding, we worked with Walter and Andrew, and having two photographers allowed us to capture almost every moment possible. Khaye, did my wife's hair and makeup. She did a practice run as promised a few days before the wedding and was really kind and attentive. My wife looked very natural and gorgeous. We had a death in our family weeks before our wedding and the venue kept changing our walkthrough day. Ambrosia was completely understanding and did everything they could to make all appointments with our venue. Due to the death in our family, we weren't able to meet extensively with DJ Jose, but we spoke on the phone often, and he was able to get all of our requested music and kept the party fun and light. Lastly, Amanda and Ashley stepped in as our Day of Coordinators and it seemed like they had been with us throughout the whole two years of planning. They were absolutely AMAZING! Found them on yelp, I was looking for a videographer literally a week before the wedding and I'm so glad I did. We were on a really tight budget and they were totally great at working out a package that would work for us. We got to see samples of their work on YouTube and I really liked Oleg's work and was lucky to hear he was available to shoot. There were a lot of things that didn't go according to plan that day and i was seriously stressed and worried that there wouldn't be any good shots but when I saw our highlight video I couldn't be more happy. I am so glad we hired them to shoot our wedding. Going with Ambrosia Event Services is one of the best choices we made for our wedding! Walter, Adam, Andrew and Michael are AWESOME! The team showed up early to check out the venue on my wedding day. They found great spots for pictures. They made sure to capture all the pictures I wanted, including getting ready, first look, bride and bridesmaids, family and friends. They were the first vender to show up and the last ones to leave. I honestly don't think my photographers took any break on my wedding day. We discovered Ambrosia through the advertisement of a special package they offered through our venue. My husband and I were not keen on seeking out and coordinating individual vendors, so this seemed like the perfect solution. Not only was it the perfect solution for those couples that do not want to loose their marbles with planning stress, not only was the package an incredible deal, but we believe we got the best of all best, most talented, most kind, professionals at our wedding. The photos are 5 stars! The only negative thing was the photos took almost a month to receive. My best friend had Michael and I believe Alise as photographers. The photos are the best I have ever seen for wedding photos. When the wedding website came out with all of the photos everyone told my best friend that the photos were amazing and they want to use Ambrosia for their weddings. The photographers are also very professional and nice, not too intrusive. The price was REALLY GOOD for 2 photographers and rights to all of the photos, website etc. Less than $1,500. High quality pictures. They wear shirts to your wedding that say their company name on them. They are respectful and capture real moments. I would recommend them to all friends and family. I didnt want to write a bad review for Ambrosia but I'm running out of patience for them to respond and show results. I went with Ambrosia for their photography and videography services along with hair and make up , emcee, karaoke set, and photobooth back in 2016. I really wanted to give them a better rating as I did enjoy the interaction with their staff (Walter and Andrew) and Allen himself. However, the end products for the services I hired them for were subpar. Start off with hair and make up, their team ran short of one staff that morning and they ended up not having enough hands to do hair and make up for my 4 bridesmaids and myself. I remembered we were so behind as all of our guests had arrived downstairs for the tea ceremony, I rushed to the restroom and quickly finished up my make up since the girl Ambrosia sent did not have time to finish up mine as she was still working on the bridesmaids. Next, the emcee they hired was horrible. He announced my name wrong during the reception, brought his friend to the wedding and even had him dined at the same table with my siblings without asking me, and he left early without letting us know. Last but not least, my wedding video is super delayed. Let's just say I am still waiting for my wedding video to be re-edited after nearly 3 years. They gave me a less- than- 5 -minute highlighting clip at first. After I complained that couldn't be all there was to my wedding, Allen agreed to get it re-edited with my input. At first I was told that they had to pay someone in the east coast to edit the video and that they paid a lot of money to that person. But I did not get anything after almost a year, so I reached out again, and was told by one of the Ambrosia staff that they were having a hard time getting someone else to edit my video but they think they might have someone. Well, that last response was shortly before i went out on my maternity leave. Now my baby is 8 months old, and still i have heard nothing back. I emailed them a month or two ago regarding the update to my wedding video, and all I got was crickets chirping on the other end. I almost wanted to give up hope on my wedding video. I just sent Allen a text about it today so let's wait and see if he does respond at all. read more

Looking at our wedding photos taken by them reminded me of the bad experience, and to finish this review! After reading all the reviews on Yelp, we were sure we were in good hands with Ambrosia. We had our wedding ceremony in a church, and reception at the Japanese Garden. The photographer and his assistant were nice, but with limited skills. They gave us hundreds of bad photos to pick from, many of which were duplicates of useless shots. We were so angry from looking at the album as we could barely find 10 that were satisfactory. Upon complaining to Ambrosia, their response was to give us ALL the photos on a disc as an apology! Thank goodness we had wonderful engagement photos done in Taiwan with qualified photographers. Ambrosia shot our wedding in summer of 2014. I would not recommend them for special events such as weddings. The quality of the pictures were not that great and they did not photoshop any of the trash that was on sand for our pictures in Long Beach. I was told they would. When they mailed me the pictures and video I just received silver DVDs that were burned with the data. No company case DVD case or label on the DVDs. I was never given the option to choose a transition song for our wedding video. When I saw the final product and asked to change a song they asked for an extra $500 because they had outsourced the video editing job... I had to request the raw footage so I could work on it myself to create a better video. I also had to design the DVD case and the DVD start menu. For the amount of money I paid back then I would have thought I wouldn't have to be doing so much work myself. I did not provide a review back then because it took several months to get all of the raw footage and images from them and I not want to rock the boat any further. read more

The whole Ambrosia team did a wonderful job for our wedding. Our wedding was in July, and we had a 5 plan package: photography, videography, day of coordinator, limo transportation, and photo booth. Allen was so accommodating with everything especially in choosing the bundle that was right for us. He helped us through everything and was always there with prompt communication. Allen was also our photo booth coordinator and did a great job and we obtained wonderful pictures of the guests! We had two photographers, Michael and Walter. Both did a good job, they interacted with us and the other guests easily. We received so many great pictures and it was great to have the pictures that we will be able to remember for years to come. We had Brian for our videography, and he got so much great footage of the entire day. From our Ambrosia experience, we loved our day of coordinator, Amanda. She was so prepared, and whenever we needed something on the day of the wedding, she was there and ready to solve any small problem. If I could give a million stars for this company I would. Allen, Andrew, and Adam are ROCK STARS!! They worked with us on our engagement video shoot, and our same day edit wedding day video.
