Good luck finding installers, someone to get permits from the city, and year-round servicing for many of these newfangled contraptions. Yet, if you still wanted a traditional in-ground pool, finding a contractor that provides soup-to-nuts design, installation, and permitting that does work in the city of Chicago without charging a major mark-up was nowhere to be found. He suggested PVC pipe instead of my hose. He and two employees completed the work, cleaned up and replaced the sod in just a few hours, when it was convenient for us. Our sump pump failed the night before they arrived, and Jose took the time to help me remove the old one and install a new one at no additional cost.
