Sonam was also very personable - no cold, clinical vibe here; she made the appointments light and enjoyable.

Not only did he sit me down to discuss whether I would want a ceramic or a titanium replacement, he discussed with me and my advocate the relative merits of each. He treated me with respect, and he and his partner worked for several hours on my hip replacement, also checking in with me every day I was in the hospital recuperating. He listened to my worries about pain medications and helped me taper down safely and at a speed that worked with my CFS/FMS, a difficult balancing act on both our ends. However his staff isn't always great with respect.

He listened to my complaints and descriptions of physical issues. He patiently showed me what was going on with my body, and laid out progressive treatment options clearly. He was conservative in treatment, willing to give the least invasive treatments time to work before moving on to the next step. The staff is quite helpful too, as long as you don't have a billing question. The bad: Dr. Prinia's billing is handled by a third party called J.T Howe & Associates. This company is impressively bad at the one service they provide: billing. I'm still waiting on bills for service I had performed 5 months ago. When bills do come, they lack claim numbers and procedure codes. Service dates are incorrect, and payment breakdown is unclear. It is nearly impossible to reconcile their bill against an insurance claim. You'll have to call the J.T. Howe representative for Dr. Pirnia for information, and while he's helpful once you get him on the phone, he's hard to get a hold of. Lastly, their bill comes with an envelope and an address to send a check to. No website, no credit card option, no information on how to use an HSA debit card, or any modern payment scheme. Ultimately my physical issue is healing and I can thank Dr. Prinia for helping that process, but the billing process has brought its own variety of pain!

Dr. Richard Nolan continuously made extremely inappropriate and sexist remarks about women to me, he made me so uncomfortable I had to bring my dad to my visits and once I did he addressed my dad more than he did me. On top of that, this doctor ordered no imaging of my back and when I told him I was still in intense pain after 8 months he told me that "wasn't believable". After firing my lawyer who sent me to Dr. Nolan and hiring a new team they were able to find a compound fracture in my spine and torn disc in my lower back. It took me 1 year to discover these injuries, 1 year of intense chronic pain because of the negligence of Dr. Nolan.

He treats you with compassion and that to me is what the majority of other Dr's lack. He is the Best Dr I have ever had! I met him through my husband who was in a terrible motorcycle accident, Dr Nolan saved his leg. No one can hold a candle to how much he actually cares about his patients it will be a sad day when he decides to retire which I hope isn't anytime soon. You may wait to see him but he is worth the wait. He fights for all of his patients and he tells it like it is and I would disagree with anyone who says otherwise. One review said he was sexist it made me want to laugh, he is a wonderful kind man and I have been seeing him since 1990 and I have the upmost respect for him he has operated on me several times and continues to see me monthly, if I have a question after hours all I have to do is text or call him directly. Who can say they have a Dr like that? He is worth every minute you have to wait and if you can't take honesty then he's not the Dr for you because he tells it like it is!

I had an injury to my right foot/ankle (tendon rupture partially) that I had been dealing with since last September & I was trying to avoid surgery but it wasn't healing so Dr. Talarico surgically repaired it in April, and he did an excellent job. A foot surgery is a very tough recovery but with Dr. Talarico's help & guidance I'm walking pain free again. Dr. Talarico & his staff took excellent care of me. His staff is also excellent & so caring kind & helpful. Veronica his office assistant is awesome & Yolanda his surgical scheduler was very helpful when I had to change my surgery date. Although interpreter was provided, his staff asked me communicate with her in English at the first beginning. His conclusion contradicts basic common sense. In defending his conclusions, he distorted the timeline of my condition, ignored the pain in my heel entirely, and never addressed it. In subsequent MRI results, all of my symptoms were confirmed. It's unimaginable that a doctor could operate without basic common sense. In my case, it's really hard to tell whether the problem is with his character/morality or his medical expertise. Holding such authority, he instead uses it to intimidate and bully. Even the insurance adjuster said she felt sorry for me. Truly shameful. The whole experience working with him was an absolute nightmare.

I was referred to Dr. Peterman by another orthopedic surgeon in the same building. She told me I needed a total hip replacement. I had been reading a magazine in the waiting room concerning knee resurfacing surgery.. I said too bad they don't do this for hip replacements. She said" There is hip replacement surgery. I just don't perform them, but Dr. Peatman is qualified to do hip resurfacing surgery". She called his office and I went straight to his office.. was the kindest doctor full of knowledge still very young at the time, he put me at ease and explained everything about the surgery. Having hip replacement surgery was the best decision I've ever made in my life. I've had absolutely no pain in the hip., the morning after my surgery, I hesitated to put weight on that leg for fear of the pain that would happen in my hip. The nurse encouraged me go ahead. It'll be OK,I put my weight on the leg, in total amazement,I had absolutely zero pain deep in my hip. I had forgotten what it felt like to have zero pain in my hip. It was and still is to this day, amazing to be without pain. I love my hip-still to this day love my hip resurfacing surgery. I am so thankful for Dr Thomas Peatman. It goes without saying Dr. Peatman has and always will have his own special place in my heart. His office staff were also wonderful to me. I will add I was his first Hip Replacement Surgery. Often, they get me in early and out quickly due to my long drive. All my crazy requests are handled efficiently with 5 star customer service. I have never been made to feel I'm asking for too much or wasting the staffs time. Dr. Peatman is a confident but not cocky surgeon who always makes me feel he has my best interests at heart. He takes time to answer my questions and explain treatments and procedures so I fully understand. He never appears to be in a hurry. During my surgeries, I have noticed the operating room support staff seem to enjoy working with Dr. Peatman. I even had one nurse tell me he is the best surgeon she had worked with. I can't think of a better endorsement.
