The first time I went here was for my daughter's wedding. I had just bought a nice suit and wanted…read moreit to be tailored. When I told her I planned to lose about 10 pounds for the wedding, she laughed at me and said she would do her best, but I would have to make sure I lose the ten or I don't get my money back. She's been my cleaners and tailor since then:). Daisy is always reasonably priced and cleans/presses my clothes very well. The tailoring is an added benefit of going to her. I haven't had her tailor a suit to me yet but I plan on doing it someday. Another perk is she gets the clothes done in a decent time. Drop them off on Monday and get them back on Thursday. She has help (perhaps family?) but not always. She does a great job all around. Tailors are very expensive, especially good ones and aren't easily found in the HD. Give Daisy a try and I think you'll be satisfied.

You really should drop off your clothes way ahead of time so that she can work on them very slowly. It helps if she can take her time. She took off the beads of my prom dress and sewed them back on to alter the dress to fit me. It fit me like a glove thanks to her. Edit: wanted to post another picture of her work this past month. She hemmed and altered my sister and my bridesmaids dresses for a wedding with less than a week of time. Very happy :)

I left it with her and when I picked it up she had done some very ugly reinforced repair. And the material was a little frayed at the patch. I showed it to her and she got weirdly angry. Almost throwing it and my money at me. I told her to keep the money no big deal. And she rudely told me to just take the bag and the money. Seriously after years of friendly chatting with her. Always highly recommending her. It was really strange. Haven't been back. Won't be back.

The 3 stars is for the price of $50 just to do that was reasonable but not what I expected, and when I picked up she took it upon herself to do the sleeves of my jacket too, added some buttons and touched up the look, that also looked good but charged an extra $25 dollars for something I didn't ask for. Probably should've and could've argued it and not paid it, but was already in a bit of a mood from other stuff and just wanted to get my jacket, so on me a bit, but also could've just done the one job I asked for.

I took two pairs of slacks and a pair of jeans to have the hems shortened. I own a basic sewing machine and have altered my hems myself, but it cannot do an invisible hem without eating up the fabric. I wanted them done professionally without the headache of me looking down at uneven threadlines and frayed fabrics. It is a small little shop on the 2nd floor of a shopping complex. It is that building where you can take a curving driveway up to the second floor of the complex. The shop is located on the second floor and there is an elevator too. The tailor shop is at the front reception area of an cubicle space leasing office and there is a small room with a door for changing into clothes and a seating area. The tailor seems nice and polite. I asked the tailor here to do invisible hems on my slacks and to match the thread for hemming my jeans. There is a deposit requested, and I offered to pay upfront. I was charged as advertised for each work, there wasn't a price difference for the invisible hems. I asked to have them ready in two days. Two days later I picked up my pants and jeans. She even pressed the new hems. I measured each one later and tried them on; two inches as requested. I didn't feel like going through the trouble of trying them on at the shop so I tried them on at home. All fit, and upon visual inspection the hemlines were very neat and professional looking. The slacks had the invisible hems and the jeans thread matched very close. I would offer 5 stars but since I only had hemlines done I don't know about the complexity of other alterations. On her card it does say she has 20 years of experience, so I'm sure it speaks to the quality of her work.
