Teresa's the best kept secret out here in the desert. I have been going to her for YEARS. She is a wonderful tailor. There are no other services here, so if you just need an alteration, this is the place. There are things she can and can not do and she will bluntly tell you. Her work is good, but also she does all her own work so if you are on a time crunch or need something complicated, she will let you know whether she can or can't do it within the time frame. Don't get offended, she is just being real with you. Payment is due upon agreement of pick-up. Keep your receipt. Cash. Before giving her my hats the owner did say hats we're difficult to do. So I told her if you find it too difficult please don't do the other hats. I didn't want to have to buy all new patches. I pick up my hats and ALL of them were completely ruined. Stitch lines everywhere, holes, and scratches all over the patches. She did all of my hats this way. It looks absolutely terrible. She did refund me which is why I'm not giving her less stars, but now I have to buy all new patches and hats. read more

I was panicking and needed my wedding dress hemmed with a bustle added exactly a month before my wedding, these ladies put my mind at ease! They worked so fast and it turned out beautifully with the bustle staying strong all day and night. The hem of my dress had some folding they hadn't seen before but they handled it beautifully and it looked seamless. I forgot my shoes for an appointment so my dress was just a little shorter than I wanted when the bustle was hooked but that was totally my fault, it still looked beautiful anyways. I have read a few reviews about the way she talks seems rude. I have gotten to know her and she is far from rude. She is having fun,and a little dramatic i guess you could say. But very nice lady. I've only had a couple of experiences here but they were both great. My daughter had a beautiful bridesmaid dress that was too large and needed to be altered. Unfortunately I cannot recall the name of the sweet lady that pinned the dress, but she was funny sweet, and personable and when we picked the dress up just a few days later, the dress was sewn beautifully and fit like a glove. Several people commented on the fit and how it looked like it was made for her :) Instance number two was my son's suit pants for his wedding. He put off tailoring longer than he should have, and she was able to hem the cuff and take in the waistband in just a couple of days and again, it was beautiful work. It was mesh which is hard to work with... and it was all hand beaded so if she took off one bead, they would all start coming off.
