Looks like they're closed down. Big sign that says location for rent. Doors were also locked at 12 pm

He was kind and tailored my bridesmaid dress. It was ready within a day and super affordable! He steamed my dress for free and I felt like a million bucks in Cancún read more

Called to see if she can sew me a simple strapless dress and she says she is busy. I don't even need the dress until a month from now. She can make alterations but absolutely not a seamstress!!! read more

Very sweet lady! I had my dress hemmed and a jeweled appliqué sewn on. Great prices! Dress was ready on time and turned out perfect. Highly recommend. Watch out for the homeless people living in the stairwell and don't touch anything. They are probably harmless, be aware of your surroundings. Super dirty walking up the stairs to the 2nd floor to her shop. Worth it tho! read more

Young's Tailor - Dress was altered from the shoulders! Great job. - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Hesperia, California

Ms. Young is a very kind lady and very helpful with my tailoring needs. The area where she is located is not the best but her service makes up for it. read more

Young is very nice and understanding! She hemmed my shorts and did an awesome job. I love the way she always cracks a joke and I will be coming again! read more

Called ahead of time and described the service I needed. Upon arrival I was told the service couldn't be performed (this is why I explained it before driving to the location). read more

My zipper broke on my mattress cover. She fixed it while I waited. Very reasonable pricing. Thank you for fixing my item and so fast

Mrs. Young has always taken excellent care of my clothes. She has patched jeans, repaired ripped sleeves, torn pockets, and belt loops. She did an excellent job turning an old pair of blue jeans into cut-off shorts for summer. She is very conscientious and friendly. Highly Recommended. read more

10/10! Ms. Young did an excellent job by altering the sleeves in my wedding dress, they were too loose on me and she was able to tailor them to my liking. The back of the dress was too loose on the nude tulle part, she did a great job tightening that section as well as catering to my body type. Would go again. read more

So we go in to get a bunch of alterations on the jump suit and she's very nice and seems to know what she's doing so we drop it off pay the deposit and are told to return in a week. We come back a week later only to find out she hasn't even started it! Semi pissed off we give her another chance when she says she can have all the alterations done the next day by 12 so I call at 12:30 only to be told she hasn't started! I tell her I need it done by 3:30 the latest and if she can't I want my deposit back. Once off work I head over and it's done and the job is good. No missed lines and everything is even and no loose hems. So I pay her in full and left. So while she did the job it was like pulling teeth for her to do it. I will not be returning. read more

It can be pricey but she's fast and does a good job. There is sometimes a language barrier, but she knows her job. I recommend her.

i brought my bridesmaid dress for a hem on 10/12 & she said i can pick it up on 10/18 at noon. i paid before i left & paid $35 for about 2 inches to be taken off of the length. i arrived at around noon & she said she forgot & i see my dress on the table & it's all wrinkled up. i said okay, that's fine, i can come tomorrow, but remember i need it by saturday (10/21), she said okay, come tomorrow. i come the next day at 4pm to give her some time & again, she didn't recognize me or remember what i was in for even though i just saw her the day before. at this point i'm frustrated because she asked for my phone number twice & never called me to update me & now i'm driving back & forth. now i have to pick it up in the morning 10/20 which is literally the day before the wedding & i have to dry clean it with someone else because my dress was just tossed around & all wrinkly. also wanted to note how it stinks like cats & cat litter & there's hair all over the ground & it's just not a sanitary area. i can see why they're closing down the business because this is ridiculous. read more

Took my dress to get altered here and first let me say that mrs . Young is so welcoming and very nice . The turn around for my dress was done in a timely manner . I will always use this place for any future alterations i will be needing . I recommend her 100 percent ! read more

This review is for the Tailor shop on 9th and Bear Valley. At present there is a sign offering $5.50 hem alterations for pants that you can see driving down Bear Valley Rd. I took two pairs of slacks and a pair of jeans to have the hems shortened. I own a basic sewing machine and have altered my hems myself, but it cannot do an invisible hem without eating up the fabric. I wanted them done professionally without the headache of me looking down at uneven threadlines and frayed fabrics. It is a small little shop on the 2nd floor of a shopping complex. It is that building where you can take a curving driveway up to the second floor of the complex. The shop is located on the second floor and there is an elevator too. The tailor shop is at the front reception area of an cubicle space leasing office and there is a small room with a door for changing into clothes and a seating area. The tailor seems nice and polite. I asked the tailor here to do invisible hems on my slacks and to match the thread for hemming my jeans. There is a deposit requested, and I offered to pay upfront. I was charged as advertised for each work, there wasn't a price difference for the invisible hems. I asked to have them ready in two days. Two days later I picked up my pants and jeans. She even pressed the new hems. I measured each one later and tried them on; two inches as requested. I didn't feel like going through the trouble of trying them on at the shop so I tried them on at home. All fit, and upon visual inspection the hemlines were very neat and professional looking. The slacks had the invisible hems and the jeans thread matched very close. I would offer 5 stars but since I only had hemlines done I don't know about the complexity of other alterations. On her card it does say she has 20 years of experience, so I'm sure it speaks to the quality of her work. read more

They took forever to complete my 3 items and were caught in the parking lot trying to leave early when I arrived for my appointment...I asked the lady where she was going and she said a party..my shirts were not even altered the way it was fitted and looked like she just took a tiny bit in all the way around...I will still have to go get this fitted correctly and am now out of 45 dollars...this is not ok..when good people try to support small businesses and still get burned with poor craftsmanship. I'm writing this review so this does not happen to anymore hard working people in the area as it is not fare...also beware that the buisness next door is also hers and I believe the tailor shop is something she don't even care about. I saw her comi g out of the relitor shop attached to her tailor shop...she is ripping people off read more

Terrible experience here. She wanted to overcharge me for two dresses, quoting me $100. When I came back on the date promised it would be done, she hadn't touched the dresses. There was also a new blood stain on one of them, these were unworn dresses with the tag still on. She blamed me for the stain. When I asked for a refund. She told me I would have to pay for the service charge the company charges her backed I paid with my debit card. We argued for a long time before she refunded me all my money. Do not go here. You should go to Daisy cleaners in spring valley lake, I have always had a great experience with her. Only tried this cleaner cause the owners at Daisy were out of town. read more

I highly recommend Mrs. Young. She is extremely affordable, she's fast with her work and she get's it done right. She'll work with you. Contrary to "popular beliefs " from some other review(s),she really isn't rude. She just doesn't spoil someone like they're a baby. read more

Dropped off one and got it the next. Literally fast service. Unlike other places, I don't get my alternations done until a week later. She does a good job too. I def recommend this place. read more

Best tailor ever!!! She hemmed my husband's pants in less than 2 mins! You want something done without hassle! Go to her!!!

I get all my altering, hemming and clothing adjustments here. She does a quick turn around and has reasonable prices.

I would not recommend unless you want to be assaulted. I brought a dress to be hemmed and when I told her it was cut uneven she said I told her to do it this way. When I tried showing her how uneven it was, she pushed me and took the dress from me. She got aggressive and I had to call the cops and come back the next day to pick up my stuff because the cops took to long to come and showed up after closing time. I told her I cannot tell her how to do her job because I have no idea. Very upsetting that she was so rude and unwilling to fix the issue. Save your selves the horrible experience. read more

This Tailor is the best I have ever used. She has done the most major alterations on the most difficult gowns and simple dresses. I am 5'1 and have a very odd body and she has taken dresses that were to long, to big in the shoulders, the bust and hips and altered them to fit me like a glove!!! Young is the most awesome seamstress on the planet!!! read more

Nice lady but I am unimpressed with her shop. She has cats roaming around and when I walked in I saw the cats walking over the clothes that were waiting to be altered. She promised my dresses to be ready at a certain time and day, when I went to pick it up there wasn't anyone at the store. I tried calling and waiting around for 30 minutes and they never showed up. I called an hour later and she said she would have them ready the next day. Her alterations are great but I don't want cat hair on my clothes (I'm allergic) and I want them ready on the date/time we agree upon. read more

Listen! This seamstress saved my life. I bought a pretty expensive Delsey suitcase that I may have used 10 times. After flying into the area with a hectic schedule I was unable to tend to the zipper broken by TSA right away. I found this tailor and explained the situation over the phone. They took me in right away and put the zipper back on track. I really appreciate their flexibility and craftsmanship. If ever back in the area I'd use them again read more

My kind of tailor! A. Affordable. B. Sassy attitude just like those Hong Kong tailors. Except she more sassy because she's Korean. C. Honestly, jokes aside, She did a good job on a really hard repair. read more

My mom is a tailor who works out in LA. I still prefer to take my pants to Ms Young for altercations.

This place is small and privately owned. The owner is a very nice old Korean lady that knows what she's doing when it comes to Hemming pants. I saw the big sign "Tailor" and decided to try it out because I had 3 pairs of pants that needed to be hemmed. To my surprise she had all the different threads possible for any color pants or shirt. Price was really cheap, but quality is over the top. Though she can't speak English very fluently, her skills on the sewing machine is awesome!!!! read more

Very small place but the work she does is amazing! I highly recommend her. She does take on a lot of work so if you need something done I would suggest going in a few weeks in advance before you need the item/items. read more

The owner is lovely, she mended my clothes well and super quickly. You can barely see where my clothes were torn- thanks so much!

I went to this tailor off of the recommendations and would NOT recommend her to do military uniforms. Maybe I caught her on a bad day? I brought in 2 sets of Army ACU to have name tapes and such sewn on. I even went as far to tape the name tapes so they were the correct dimensions. I even went further and brought an example of exactly where they need to be placed (the military has specific regulations). I even brought in another ACU jacket so she could see "exactly" how they need to go. One set she did o.k., the other was a mess. Rank not centered, you could see the velcro, like she didn't bother to pay attention that the name tape was centered on the velcro. I almost brought my dress blues to her, and am glad I did not. She may be good with other alterations, but I would not recommend her for uniforms, where the appearance cannot look like someone threw it together. read more

I called looking for a alteration on a dress. On the phone I told her what I needed and the time line. She said yes, no problem bring it in. I jumped in my car and drove cross town to get there. As soon as I walked in she informed me she didn't have time to do it. Well then maybe you should have told me that before I drove all the way there!!! I will not be going back. read more

I have been using this tailor for 15 years, and now I will no longer go here. I had taken in two pieces of clothing about two weeks ago, and when I went to go pick them up she said I had already picked them up. And blamed my granddaughter of "losing" them. Which is completely false, when she never even stepped foot in the store to get the clothing. She accused me of lying and made so many excuses as to why she didn't have the clothing pieces. Point is, she lost my clothes and after 15 years I would think I'd get more respect out of her. Instead I get accused. Never going back there again! read more

This is a one person shop. The lady is kind of quirky and gives me a hard time every time I come in about I always bring her difficult things. She sews them at a fair price in a timely manner read more

Been going here for years... great service, quality work, fast and honest. Highly recommend

Quality work at low prices. How can you beat that!

I highly recommend Ms. Young. She is very nice, does a great job, and is very reasonably priced. She's a gem!

English not so good, but she does a good job hemming my pants, including jeans.
