Was my go to cleaners. Went to drop off some cleaning and lo and behold it's no longer there.

My first time taking my daughters uniform to them, took it in with no stains just dirty .When I picked up it had detergent stains all through the back, owners daughter told me to bring it back and when I brought it back for back she said I can do the shirt not the skirt I was ok that's fine ,so I asked how sure are they that the stain is going to get off and she said her mom had told her that it already had stains on it, I was no it didn't she said ohhhh if you want we can go left to right with this and I so t clean your shirt!!! I should of just went with all the reviews on this if your a cheer mom do t ever ever take your uniforms to this cleaners I rate 0.0 read more

Took in pants to get altered. They gave me a pick up date. I arrived two days AFTER pick up date to get my pants ( gave them two extra days) . Kid can't find them. 20 minutes later "don't know where they are, we will call you". Call me when? "I don't know". Talk about poor thinking skills. Then he calls his mommy over at apple valley cleaners in Jess Ranch. She tries to blame it on me, that I need to wait ANOTHER two days cuz they didn't get them done. they don't believe in calling the customer!!! Mommy was crazy. She refused to give me back my pants. I took four good shirts in to be cleaned. No big deal. I went back to pick them up and suddenly they could not take credit or debit cards. Cash Only. I explained I had no cash. No help. I asked if they had called a repairman. "Yes". So, what date will it be repaired? "I don't know", she said. I went back in one week. Still not repaired. I went back in two weeks. Still not repaired, but this time I had cash. I got my shirts and heard "don't come back." No apology. Nothing. Not a problem. There are dozens of cleaners where the employees have brains. read more

I am NOT a vindictive person. I like to see the good in people. Having said that, I'm sorry to have to add my negative review of this business. I've read other reviews saying that these people will not accept responsibility for their mistakes. I've had the same experience now, as well. They lost my tuxedo, and are now denying it, placing the blame on me for giving me back a tux that is too small for me (which I returned to them). The final straw came when, after giving them the FULL week, this week, to find my tux, the girl with whom I spoke got angry that asked about my tux again, and hung up on me! This whole thing started right after Thanksgiving. Yelp requires me to select 1-5 stars for my review. I chose 1 because "0" is not one of the options. read more

Tired of this dry cleaners being closed when the stated hours show open. Customers should not have to keep up with the clerks school hours for her kids. In addition, the clerk has a rude and poor attitude. Today, at 8:30 am, door was locked and not even a note on the door showing when it would open. We will not be back to this cleaners. read more

I arrived at the location at 7:45. Waited for them to open at the displayed hour of 8 AM. At 8:05 I called the number on the window. The man advised that "she should be there any minute ". At 8:15 I left. There was also another customer standing there with a load of jeans in her hands drop off. This is awful customer service. I was supposed to be at work at 8 AM, but was going to be a few minutes late as I needed to drop off a dress at the cleaners. Now I'm forced to go to another cleaners and be even later to work. My husband went to this cleaners to have gum removed from his uniform. He made them aware it was in and outside of the pocket, he was assured they could clean it. Upon picking up his shirt it looked good from the outside but quickly realized when we got home the gum was still fully inside the pocket. He called this establishment to make them aware and try to rectify the situation. As he works long hours and needed this shirt for a current shift he simply asked to be refunded the cleaning fee. The owner then cursed my husband out and myself when I called back. She told him maybe he shouldn't leave f'n gum in his pocket when washing. As we all make mistakes and sometimes need a cleaner to help with those mistakes we thought we could trust this business. Turns out they will half do the job then blame you for their laziness. Once you notify them of their mistake they will curse you out and refuse to take any further calls from you! 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND. Horrible customer service and business handling! read more

Wow! Walk in the door with shirts to be laundered. The lady never stands up. She proceeds to tell me that it's $4.50 a shirt if I want dry cleaning or laundry. That's crazy! Lots more than I have ever paid! read more

Customers beware....... this the only business I have ever been to that blames all their mistakes on the customer and will tell you to your face they don't do customer service at their expense. The have terrible alterations and do NOT stand behind any of their work. They also do not post any prices and will just add the prices to your ticket and then say if you don't look at the ticket its your fault. Guess I come from a corp that purposely tells you what your charges will be before you leave our store with no unknowns on a ticket so it gives you, the customer the opportunity to choose somewhere else if need be. VERY SHADY company that can blame EVERYTHING on their customers and they stand behind the theory "THEY ARE PERFECT".......Think twice before using their services.... read more

I've been using this location for several years and I just love the quality of their work. The ladies in the office are fast and friendly. Most of the time I pull up to pick up laundry and they are already gathering up my clean clothes. Always excellent customer service and the alterations are fast! read more

For over 20 years I've been taking my dry cleaning to Tri City Cleaners in the Vons shopping center (same owners as AV Cleaners and the actual place they send all the clothes to be cleaned) and they did a wonderful job, but a couple of years ago things started changing. I noticed the changes before I knew the company had been taken over by new owners. I was having to repress creases and pleats before wearing my blouses and pants, because they were sloppy. And, my clothes didn't look as clean as they should have. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, because I thought they just needed time to get the hang of things. But, I just recently took in my favorite suede coat to be cleaned. The previous owners had cleaned my suede coats in the past and did a great job, including the coat I recently took in for cleaning. I asked, to be sure that they were able to clean suede and they assured me they could. They charged me $45 for the cleaning. When the coat came back to me, the color was bleached out in large sections. It wasn't even throughout the whole coat, just in large sections. The front was the original color and the back was the bleached out color. And, the areas around the seams were the original color. It looks awful. Now, instead of a dressy coat, it looks more like a distressed casual coat and it is very upsetting. But, the worst part is, they denied any wrong doing on their part, claiming that some suede coats change colors like that. I explained to them that this wasn't the first time this coat had been cleaned at this cleaners and it had never come back looking like this before. And, neither had my other suede coat, which is the same color. They said the previous owner must not have cleaned the coat, or it would've changed colors! They said the only thing that could be done is to have the coat dyed and they were going to charge me for that also! As far as I'm concerned, the worst thing a business owner can do is lie and not take responsibility for their mistakes. I later went to AV Cleaners by the Cinemark theaters in the Jess Ranch shopping center. When I walked in, I noticed one of the same employees behind the counter. I asked if the same owner, owned this shop and she said yes. They also own another cleaners in Apple Valley, but I'm not sure which one it is. This all happened before Christmas, but I was so upset that I made myself wait this long before writing this review, otherwise I would have been way too emotional. I will never take my clothes back to them again. CUSTOMER BEWARE. read more
