Exceptional Service and Customer Care!…read more We have been extremely pleased with the quality of service and professionalism this company consistently delivers. Their weekly pool service is reasonably priced, reliable, and accommodating, particularly when unexpected circumstances arise. Living in an area of the valley that experiences significant wind and debris, we especially appreciate their willingness to address the additional challenges that come with maintaining our pool. What truly sets this company apart, however, is the knowledge and professionalism of their technicians. They do more than simply identify and resolve problems. They take the time to explain how our pool equipment operates, help us understand the best approaches for our particular conditions, and offer practical guidance based on how we use our pool. That level of expertise and genuine customer care is not something you encounter with every service provider. Their attention to detail and accountability are equally impressive. Following each weekly cleaning, we receive a photograph confirming that the service has been completed. When we have experienced occasional leaks or equipment issues, their team has been responsive in making repairs, following up to ensure the work was done properly, and remaining available to answer additional questions. It is refreshing to work with a company that takes pride in its work, stands behind the services it provides, and values keeping its customers informed. They have earned our confidence through consistent performance, knowledgeable technicians, and exceptional customer service. Five stars are absolutely well deserved, and we would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for dependable, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced pool service!

Stay away--sales-driven company with terrible weekly maintenance…read more I hired Priority Pools based on their high ratings, and over the course of more than a month under their care, my pool was green with algae. Key Issues: Constant Upselling: Right after onboarding, they tried to sell me unnecessary overhauls--including a new saltwater cell, completely missing that my pool already had a one-year-old salt system running. Poor Tech Knowledge & Reporting: The technician assigned to my weekly route didn't speak English, which doesn't have to be a problem, but he didn't seem to know I had a saltwater pool despite my messages to the company and they assured me that he was aware. Weekly reports lacked basic chemical breakdowns and only provided a photo of a meter. Weeks of Ignored Algae Blooms: Despite multiple messages alerting them to worsening algae over several weeks, proper testing (like CYA) wasn't done until a company leader flagged it when called me after I notified them I was cancelling. Offering free service doesn't fix persistent bad service. I had to hire outside help just to restore my pool. Look past the marketing and check their most recent 1-star reviews before hiring them. I don't take this review or my experience lightly, I don't do bad reviews.

They kept us informed every step of the way, showed up when they said they would, and delivered exactly what they promised. There were no hidden costs, no surprises, and no pressure--just outstanding workmanship at a fair price. What really impressed us was how they consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. After ending our service with our previous pool cleaning company, we reached out on yelp to various companies to get an estimate on some issues we believed we were having with our pool that caused the water to turn green. Out of all of the companies, J Pool Service felt the most knowledgeable and more personable - they walked us through the issues and options available. On top of that, they truly prioritized our pool and had it back to the best swimming conditions quickly. They've been easy to communicate with and I love that they provide a photo and email after they've serviced our pool. I know, anyone else could've easily taken advantage of the opportunity with a diagnosis, service call, and expenses. But, not these owners. The first time was a few years back, in which they helped me out too. He texts in advance of arrival, and answers all of my questions throughly 2) RESPONSIBLE- My #1 ask is to be an early early pool clean. I work from home and the hubbub of someone in the backyard freaks my dogs out, so it's good to get all of the excitement over before my workday begins. Martin and his staff (shout-out to the WONDERFUL Jordan Gonzalez!!) accommodate this SO WELL, and I'm just tickled to see them out there first thing Monday... THANK YOU THANK YOU you guys, you make my week start out perfectly1 3) HONEST- I didn't realize that I was accidentally overpaying (if you pay via Zelle as opposed to credit card you get a little discount) and Martin caught my mistake and made it right.
