I made an appointment with Roberta after having a time conflict in my schedule with a different massage therapist, and totally SCORED. I immediately switched over. Roberta is EXTREMELY EDUCATED in her field of work. She knows exactly what she is doing and has hands of gold. After each session, my body was considerably less swollen than it had been before she had started. Also, Roberta is very NURTURING and personable. She helped answer all of my questions (even the stupid ones) post surgery and made the entire post op feel less lonely. I recommend her 100 PERCENT! read more

I feel incredibly lucky to have found Roberta. I only wish I would have found her sooner. I was about 6 weeks post surgery which I was told by my surgeon to wait. Only to find out the sooner the better to start your massages right after surgery!!!!!! I was lucky to not have internal scaring after. She was able to work through the scarring that had been built and transformed my body. She helped me choose and order a correct fitting faja. I would have been wearing a size too big! She taught me how to wear my post surgery garments. Not even my own surgeon helped me or offered any help. I'm am so beyond grateful to her. She is so knowledgeable and professional. I felt completely comfortable with her. So so grateful. Thank you Roberta. Vanessa read more

I would give Roberta 10 stars if I could. I find her to be very professional, understanding, kind and patient. These qualities are vital. I've had multiple sessions with Roberta and I have experienced great benefits such as feeling lighter, improved digestion, my knees no longer feel stiff, even my back pain has improved, which I was not expecting. I always sleep well and wake up early feeling refreshed. I am so grateful that Roberta is here in San Diego to provide us with such a great healing service. I appreciate her very much. read more

Wow Roberta is amazing! She carried me through my Post op care! I never ended up getting treatments done due to some personal things, but Roberta was very kind and informing during the time that we were in communication. I'm sure I would've been a very happy client if I moved forward with her services. I will definitely keep her in mind if I end up deciding to get something done. Im so happy I found Roberta! I had surgery in TX and was receiving my post op massages there for the first 8 days. I was so worried about my post op massages and wether or not I would find someone in San Diego that could compare to my post op massages in TX. I reached out to her online and she immediately gave me a call and answered all of my questions. I knew she was great from the very beginning because she seemed to really care about my recovery and she made sure to make time to see me as soon as I got to San Diego. Her post op massages are the best and she goes above and beyond to make sure that she prioritizes her clients and results. She is very knowledgeable, kind and professional! I am so happy I found her because she has seriously taken such good care of me. I highly recommend her! read more

Roberto was absolutely amazing. I'm so glad that I found her for my lymphatic massages and aftercare my second time around. This was my second round of 360 lipo and bbl. I found out how important picking the right person for your lymphatic massages and aftercare can be. You do not want to skimp when picking an aftercare person, after all you just got done spending maybe $30 -$40,000 or more, you need to protect that investment. You don't want to end up with someone who's taken a one-day course, you need someone that has the schooling and training like Roberta has. I Highly recommend her. She also is very professional, with wonderful bedside manors, makes you feel completely comfortable, truly cares and wants to help you heal and feel fabulous. read more

Roberta is so so so sweet and SO SO SO smart and knowledgable about the recovery process. I've made more progress in the last 2 weeks seeing her than I ever have from previous LDM therapists. I absolutely love how she is so process oriented and really puts in the work so that you get real results and will push you out of your comfort zone during treatments. In the past ive gotten LDM and its been really superficial and doesnt really feel like its doing much of anything and it feels like im just burning money but Roberta is really transparent about how many sessions she thinks you need and doesnt try to sell you on a package or get you to commit to anything you dont want to which is also great. I liked her so much I gave her info to my doctors office so they could recommend future patients to her office as well. read more

Roberta is actually heaven sent! All the reviews saying she's great are true. I had a bbl with dr.alavi and their post op care wasn't that great. I felt like after the surgery they just tossed me in the ocean and didn't really care if i sunk or swam. Roberta is the best thing to happen to me post op. Not only does she provide good massages, but she's also very informative in regards to the healing process. I felt like she was more informative than my surgery facility. She even allowed me to facetime her so she could help me get my foam boards on correctly. As someone who just went through a life changing surgery.. I REALLY appreciated how thorough she was and how she seemed to really care about my results and my overall well being. If you are looking for post op care after plastic surgery, you can trust Roberta will take excellent care of you. read more

Lay down, relax and let your stress melt away with a massage by Roberta! Today was my first massage session with Roberta. I found her on groupon and thought I'd give her a whirl...and boy am I glad I did!! Quick summary for those who prefer brevity: 1) great precision 2) excellent customer service 3) amazing intuitive pressure 4) beyond relaxing 5) Available on groupon Roberta seems to have an innate sense for how and where to place her hands to relieve any tension. I had extreme knots and tightness in my back area. She was able to locate these knots and work them out with amazing pressure and precision. She even gave me a card for $15 off for my next visit. I'm definitely going to take her up on that! The room she is in is private and she plays the most relaxing nature music as she works away all that tension. HIGHLY recommend Roberta for her skill and relaxing environment. read more

If you are planning to undergo surgery and looking for someone to perform post-op lymphatic drainage massages, look no further! Roberta is amazing. I had a BBL done and my doctor unfortunately did not recommend lymphatic drainage massages, nor did I have external drains after my surgery, which led to my body holding A LOT of fluid. I was so swollen and uncomfortable for weeks before I reached out to Roberta and I'm so grateful she was able to take me on as a client and fit me into her schedule. The difference that she was able to make in my healing is incredible. She is kind, funny, and truly cares about getting you to your best result and health. I wish I had trusted my gut and scheduled with her before my surgery so I could have started immediately following my procedure, as I'm sure I would have been spared a ton of avoidable discomforts. Post-op is not easy at all, but Roberta certainly made it better! read more

Scheduled a medical post op massage to reduce some swelling I still had 3 weeks after surgery. Roberta is super sweet and very knowledgeable about healing and physical therapy. She is professional and her studio is super clean! I have to say the post op massage is at times a little painful but man, what a difference it made in the way I healed. Also she was done with the problem area she did give me a very nice and relaxing back massage that I did enjoy very much and almost fell asleep too. I would definitely recommend her to anyone I know may it for post op massages or just a relaxing back rub! read more

We love coming here for massage therapy, very calming effects at affordable prices, highly recommend

Sweet woman, OK massage. Pros- She was quiet the whole time which was nice because I was truly able to relax during my massage. Cons - It is a one room massage parlor in a multi-floor office, and during my massage another client walked in on me! Very uncomfortable, Roberta should have locked the door so we could have privacy. Her technique was not that great. I stressed that I had tension in my shoulders and that area needed the most attention. She did this strange thing where instead of kneading or rubbing my shoulders she just moved her hands up and down my back with firmness. Not exactly what I wanted. She was inconsistent with her pressure. One minute she was using barley any pressure and I would think about pipping up to ask for her to be a little firmer, then she would suddenly switch to intense pressure where it was painful and I was cringing. ---- Bottom line is I got this as a Groupon so I saved money, but I would not have paid full price for the massage otherwise. read more

My friend bought me this massage through Groupon for me as a birthday gift, best birthday gift EVER! I don't think you can find her on groupon any longer. After the groupons were up I couldn't afford Roberta working almost a minimum wage job...so I looked for cheaper massages but wasn't satisfied at all! Quite honestly, I was upset that I spent $35 for a crappy massage. It wasn't relaxing AT ALL. As soon as I could afford it, I texted Roberta right away! I kept her number after probably a year of not going to her. She takes the time to understand what your needs are. She's truly great at what she does. I'm quite sensitive and bruise easily, but Roberta made me feel so relaxed and didn't hurt me one bit. My typical massage is a full body for 60 mins. Only thing now that sucks is that she's full time & it's even harder to book with her! She's getting busier and busier, can't blame her. She has the hands of an angel. Her massages are literally majestic. I don't know how else to explain it. Thank you Roberta!!! read more

Roberta is so sweet and listens to your needs. She definitely went for at least an hour to an hour ten. Worth giving her a try!! The room was a little small. But I'm all for supporting small businesses. read more

Roberta is hands-down the best massage therapist I've ever been to and I can no longer bring myself to see anyone else! She completely customizes each massage to whatever you're complaining about that day and she mixes a variety of techniques to thoroughly address whatever is ailing you. I love her kind spirit and I always leave feeling so rejuvenated. I have a complicated work schedule and I appreciate that she will occasionally send out an email listing last-minute appointment openings since I'm a last-minute kind of gal. Overall, it's truly the best massage experience I've had and I highly recommend her! read more

I have been seeing Roberta for several years and have sent friends and family her way. If You are reading this review to determine whether to book with her...Yes you should-She is THE BEST massage therapist I have ever met!!! Roberta is highly skilled, very kind, and absolutely delightful. She provides several services and though I haven't had them all, I do regularly see her for deep tissue massage, cupping, and Thai massage/stretching. By trade I am a dental assistant, so I tend to spend a lot of my days in not-so ergonomic positions. Roberta's skilled hands help keep my body mobile and comfortable. She's also been a crucial part in my recovery after surgery and when rehabilitating from an auto accident, she's basically my secret weapon in life :) read more

Roberta is a wonderful massage therapist! She's very intuitive and will find knots you didn't even know you had (and help get rid of them!) I found her through two friends that are dental hygienists with chronic shoulder issues from their work, and they swear by her as well. Don't let the unassuming location fool you - her studio is in an office building. If you're looking for true treatment as opposed to an overpriced "spa massage" in a fancy spa, then Amazonia Healing Arts is for you! read more

I've had 10 lymphatic massages. I love coming hear and I'm so grateful I was recommended. Anyone is the San Diego area looking for someone who knows what they're doing, she's your girl. I am not from the San Deigo area so I wasn't able to go to Roberta as soon as would have liked. When I made the trip down for my first post-op appointment with my surgeon he recommended Roberta so I called and made an appointment that day. After that, when I had a post-op appointment I would also schedule a session with Roberta. I had been experiencing some pain, quite a bit of swelling, and could feel some fibrotic tissue developing. Roberta was not afraid to apply the pressure needed to break it up and after just one session there was marked improvement. I love how comfortable she made me feel, I think that is very important when it comes to something so personal. I really appreciated the wealth of knowledge and experience Roberta has with post-op patients and post-surgical massage, which for me was hard to find. I feel like her expertise definitely made a difference in my results. She also gave me tips how to tell my massage therapist back home what exactly I needed, which turned out to be very helpful. It is obvious that she genuinely cares about her clients and who could ask for more. read more
