I left Anthony a message and he quickly responded to my call and scheduled a time to check out the unit within days. After assessing the unit, he explained that the unit is dead and provided me with a few recommendations, replace what's required or the entire unit. He was very patient with me and explains the pros and cons. At the end, I decided the right thing to do is to replace the entire HVAC unit since the original unit is more than 13 years old. He helped replace my thermostat with Nest and even found a vent that was not connected and fixed it! Anthony is very thorough, professional and made the entire process very easy and not stressful! It was a Thursday, the unit was under warranty, plus I am on a $900 a year maintenance contract that gets me two annual heat-pump unit and water heater unit check-ups. They didn't relace the warranty hot water heater unit until the following Monday (4 days no hot water), plus charged me over $3600 in labor to install the unit. This year, my wife and I were blessed with twins. This also means our expenses caring for a little own are multiplied. While facing a financial hardship, our furnace started leaking dangerous levels of carbon monoxide and we needed a replacement. We couldn't afford the cost of a new own and care for our babies equally. With temperatures on the decline, it was imperative that we replaced it as soon as possible. When Tyler Air Conditioning heard our story, they offered to help. During an extremely difficult and stressful time, they offered to donate their time to help offset the cost of a new furnace. Just this past week Richie & Charlie needed to use some extra elbow grease and really work at the creosote build up I had after apparently burning bad wood this past winter. They were fantastic from start to finish. Clean, on-time, friendly & educational as well.
