1 Star - Absolutely unacceptable and dangerous experience My daughter and I went to Amazing Lash Studio in West Des Moines last night, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst and most irresponsible beauty experiences we've ever had. My daughter was in visible pain throughout the entire appointment. Her eye was burning and tearing nonstop, and instead of stopping or checking for safety, the lash tech handed her a tissue and said, "It can burn." That was the extent of the concern shown. It turns out glue was not only applied incorrectly--it was under her eyelid and on her actual eyeball. She spent the entire night in pain, and we are now headed to urgent care. This isn't just poor service, it's reckless and dangerous. Her extensions have also started falling out less than 12 hours later. For a business that claims to be "amazing," what happened to us was anything but. No client should be dismissed while in visible pain, and no technician should continue applying lashes while a customer's eye is burning. Do better. Or stop offering services that put people at risk. read more

I would genuinely give them a 0 star if possible. They first overcharged me by $100 then asked me to come in 30 minutes early which was fine whatever. Then after waiting over an hour I was told the lady "was having a really bad day" and I needed to reschedule. I've been saving up to treat myself and am SO disappointed. I love the lashes, the technician does an amazing job. However it is expensive! The membership is $69 a month to cover one fill or $119 for two refills a month but if you request extra glam lashes add another $25 each time you go for refill to those amounts. Again love the lash technician that does mine!! But I always feel ripped off when I go there. First visit about a month ago I spent over $200 (without tip) & didn't even get an itemized receipt. $69 came out of my checking account for the membership a week or so ago. Went in for refill & had to pay extra $25 for glam lashes which I paid in cash. When got receipt it showed $45 for refill & $25 extra for glam. Asked I if I have credit left then from my $69 monthly membership that was directly taken from my checking account & front desk girl said no receipt just prints wrong the fill was really $69 not $45 as receipt shows & that $25 extra I paid for glam. Keep in mind this doesn't include a tip, which was well deserved by tech! Cashier for fill was same girl that didn't give me a receipt on my first visit & it just felt shady. I got home & looked at my contract & thankfully can cancel at anytime, which I will this week. I can go elsewhere for $50 fills with no up charge for "glam". Which isn't glam the whole point of lashes?! Lol!! Anyway in my perspective, no real advantage to having membership at this lash studio. read more

Rylee is the best!! I had never had lash extensions before, and now I'm hooked! I would absolutely recommend Amazing Lash Studio, and Rylee!

The tech who did my lash lift had very long nails and didn't wear gloves. Overall not a great experience.

I didn't know what I was missing in my life until I had my lashes done by McKenna! She has the softest touch and explains the process step by step. The studio is very clean and location is super easy to get in and out of. Get in there and get your lashes done my McKenna...you won't regret it! read more

First off let me say I was 17 minutes late but did call twice to let them know I was running late and made sure it was ok or if I needed to reschedule and was told it was ok. I also asked if my granddaughter could come with as she is on spring break and was told it was fine. I show up and the manager Ty was very loud and rude letting me know I was 17minutes late and that I wasn't aloud to have my granddaughter with me but said very rudely and loudly that she would allow it this time and that my lashes wouldn't be done as I wanted as again I was late. Kaitlynn the lash artist was super sweet and did a great job. I've spent a lot of money @Amazing lashes and would think my business would be appreciated as I appreciate the service I receive usually but again Ty was very unprofessional and definitely lacking customer service skills. Again they always do a great job but to be treated and humiliated in front of others by a manager of all people has made me decide to cancel my membership. read more

Loved this lash studio. Efficient and clean. Very friendly and accommodating. Private rooms that were comfortable. Very relaxing.

Wanted to get lash extensions for 1st time and they had a special going on so I called and set appointment. I was very excited they day of but ended quickly, I was told after filling out an abundance of paperwork that the special was only for "single" lashes when I wanted something totally different. I asked why I was not told this when called made appointment and was just told "oh she was probably new and forgot to tell you". That's just say I was not paying over double for their mistake so I left. Very unprofessional and a total waste of time, and I guess that what I get going to a chain store. read more
