This time some started to peel within days. I wanted them to last till Halloween so i went back to get that rectified but wanted a jelly pedicure n that was awesome. But when i mentioned the finger nail peels n showed them to her, Annie's face (the owner) changed from :) to :( i told her that im no expert but i think it was incorrect to file the edges after the top coat was applied because top coat seals everything n prevents peeling. Close to the final stage of top of the line pedicure, Annie came up to the chair armed with the nail lamp n stripper. She stripped the affected peeled parts only. Then she applied the dust n applied lamp heat. U can still see the peels under the poor excuse of rectifications. Half ass done to a $60 manicure. I tip very well for my vanity privileges. I also recalled having my nails done at the pedicure chair when i wanted a regular polish. When fingernails are shaped n painted while in a pedicure chair, it doesnt give good results. When u are a service business, u will get unsatisfied customers. Practice giving sincere apologies even if u question in your mind that the customer may have caused the bad nail polish results. Annie doesnt apologize. U see her :) when customers arent troublesome. I guarantee u that no one wants to b troublesome but i paid for top of the line pedicure AND manicure. I expect the BEST. DEFINITELY WONT GO BACK. No loss to her im sure.

I followed the after care instructions very well. After months of asking if this was normal I finally got another appointment 3/18/21,which I was charged $100. I would save your money, I feel like I wasted $500. In addition, when I had my appointments, the atmosphere was unprofessional. She was taking personal phone calls throughout the appointments and at one point was talking poorly about one of her clients that another esthetician was seeing across the hall.

I am doing another update considering what recently happened. A month ago I had an appointment. I got a call from Spavia that my masseuse was not going to be able to make the appointment. We were able to set up a quick appointment for that weekend. That day came around and I got a call a couple hours before the appointment. The new masseuse had an emergency was wasn't going to be able to make it. This wasn't the norm and they were happy to offer additional changes to try and make up for the situation. It was really nice for them to offer the options that they did. They say this doesn't happen often and felt bad. Here is the normal massage breakdown. Warmed massage tables call my name on a cold Iowa evening. Darkened hallways start to set the mood. Electric candles line the floor to help guide you to where you need to be. Once you are in the locker room you can change into your robe and slippers. This is not required with every service they offer. You have your own locker which you set the lock. They have 2 little curtained off changing rooms. The wall hooks have broken over time, but if I can I just use the roomy bathroom to change. Once you have all your personal items locked away you can step into the lounging area. 4-5 different places to sit. Electric fireplace on the wall. Some books, gentle music, little water fountain. All the things to help you relax. They have warming neck wraps and hot water for tea. If you are early enough for your appointment, then take advantage and chill. When your time comes you get called back. My personal preference is one individual for body massages. I have to book months in advance to make sure I am getting him. I dont want to share, but its Eddy. He is amazing. He listens to me and remembers my preferences. After heavenly treatment you are escorted back to the lounge. You can hang out and decompress or you can head out. As of my last visit in Sept '24 they just updated the furniture in there. It is not really comfy as before. I have tried another service here, but prefer my monthly membership booking a massage each time. Read less

She never even touched my lower back or glutes and she accidentally poked my vagina twice during draping. The company called to say they would like to make it up to me, but when I called back the manager was out so I left a message and she never called back. Avoid this place.
