I was pressured into buying a year package, and I'm not even going here for my lashes anymore. Yet I still pay my membership! I went here for 3 months after 3 months I had NO mature lashes left! So I had to take them off and go 2 months with TINY BABY lashes basically BALD EYES !! I was very careful with taking care of my lashes, I brushed them, cleaned them and slept on my back. Everything people are saying about this place is true. The only good reviews are coming from the staff themselves. High turn over rate, slow Technicians, they draft the money early never on the right date, no one that works there wears lash extensions and now I know why! Yes this is a luxury service, so yes I expect luxury treatment this is the Mc Donald's of the lash extension world. If you can't afford anything else then go here, but if you have money to spend then you have BETTER options. read more

Heard about the current $79 full set deal for first time customers and was excited to try it out! I have had my lashes done before, so I know the process: all mascara removed (with oil free makeup remover), lash extension friendly cleanser, don't get wet for 48 hours, watch how to sleep at night, etc. I was quoted a 2-4 week time period before needing a fill (with 2-3 weeks being much more realistic). Needless to say, I got my lashes done on Thursday, and they were half gone and extremely gap-y by the following Tuesday. Give it a week and a half or so, I probably would've attributed it to my "natural lash cycle" and probably wouldn't have called to complain, but because they fell out so quick, I felt the need to. The representative told me it was noted on my account that I "had mascara on that the artist needed to remove," which is interesting since I hadn't worn makeup for 2 days prior, nor did my stylist do anything to my lashes before applying them. Anyway, I asked to speak to a manager. Kelly, the manager who I connected with, was VERY NICE and understanding of my situation. She listened to me and proceeded to get me in for a fill with no charge. Will update this review upon receiving the fill. *Also, my stylist, although nice, kept having her cell phone buzz right next to my ear and then she would pause for a minute. It seemed as though she was receiving and responding to text messages and it was NON-STOP FOR 2 HOURS! Maybe this wouldn't bother others but it was fairly annoying during my application. This is the worst lash studio I have ever visited! Apart from the fact their lashes do not last more than ten days, the manager and owner are both completely unprofessional. My membership was for $45.99 and Inoticed that they are taking $59.99 out of my account. I questioned it and was told "Oh, we put our prices up" I think you will find it is illegal not to inform your clients. They didn't put up a notice, send out emails, no correspondence at all. And they really don't care! They may be cheaper than everywhere else but there is a reason for this. This place is a false economy, GO ELSEWHERE!!! read more

My first time getting eye lash extensions I was asking 101 questions, Which I felt like she wasn't really trying to talk to me because I was the only one talking and asking questions, I understand not all the time people are in the mood to talk, but she never told me anything about after care Or how to properly clean them or what to use to care for them. She didn't tell me anything pretty much just asked me which style I liked and that was it. I was expecting maybe her telling me some more information. My lashes are very natural looking kind of spider legs like is the best I can describe it Kind of disappointing bc the amount of time spent on them I thought they were gonna be more full. I'm pretty disappointed with this place but I am going to give it one more try and maybe my review will change. I got my first full set done less than a week ago and half of the lashes had fallen out. I called and they were super helpful to get me in for a correction for free, which was great! The only issue was the lady was rushing and only corrected one part of one eye, and now the other side has a gap. The person who originally did them obviously did not do well at all. After leaving my correction appointment the front desk was acting pretty weird, then proceeded to act surprised and made me feel bad for not leaving a tip for my 10 min correction service. Keep in mind I tipped well on my first appointment and also bought product from the lash girl. I'm not going to keep paying and tipping for bad lashes & I should have not have to call and ask for a correction because half my lashes were already gone after 4 days. Yikes! But like I said, I will give one more chance to the lady who did my correction because they do look better than the original but just a warning... if you're a new customer, ask for someone who has really good reviews and not someone new or in training! read more

My review comes from not only being a "customer" (i was a model this time around here), but also as a former employee of this location. I was trained here on how to do lash extensions. So, when it comes to getting my lashes done here, I'm very aware of what I like and how it should feel getting my lashes done and leaving the salon. I had the pleasure of new girl, Hannah, doing my lashes. Honestly, the first thing i'll say is that she had super cool music playing. It was a nice relaxing feel but it wasn't that cliche boring spa music. I fell right asleep up until she was finishing up. I've had sets from multiple lash techs between this location and West Nashville in between my employment in both locations and this was truthfully the best retention i've had with a set. Not sure if the was a switch in glues or anything, if so, keep using it y'all! Overall I was very happy! Props to Jody ALWAYS because her training is amazing. Local spot so it's convenient. First time runs a good price. However Burning sensation lasted longer than previous experience at my usual location. When I asked what kind of glue is used it was just advised "we use what they send us". Lash artist didn't appear very happy but she was professional and I understand she's there to do her job and focus. Which she did a very nice job. The lashes themselves have a slight plastic fake and feel heavier than what I'm used to. Their membership sounded very Massage Envy which ME memberships are jokes. Walk ins are a better route for fills. You pay about 50 a month for membership (1x a month) then bi weekly fills are an additional cost. Whereas walk in fills are around 65... I don't know. We will see if I get used to these over the next few days and if the burning stops. Front desk girls were nice. read more

Went in yesterday for my first visit for custom lashes for a trip. Customer service up front was ok....nothing exemplary. Showed technician a picture of exactly what I wanted my lashed to look like. What I left with wasn't even close. Not sure if they are unable to do customization or unskilled enough. Certainly it wasn't disclosed when I showed the picture. No one said, "oh, we can't/won't do that". On top of that, when I checked out I was charged double the amount for tip with no offer to refund it. Definitely not impressed...... read more

Rudest & Worst Experience Ever. HORRIBLE. I was told this is MY FAULT, YES YOUR LASHES DONT LOOK RIGHT, BUT WE AREN'T FIXING THE SERVICE AND I'M NOT BEING SMART I'M JUST EDUCATING YOU. WHAT??? .... I had a re-fill appt. where the day of service I called right back and said hey this just doesn't look right.  I was told no worries to come back in the next day.  I walked in after changing my schedule around and showed my picture from the last service in comparison.  She said,it doesn't look right...it's just not as full.  Clearly seeing the difference.     Then rudely and shocking,  I was then told it was My Fault and I'd have to pay an additional $40 to be fix. What?  Yes it's your fault and if you would of come in before 3 1/2 weeks your refill would  look right. I had just paid $114.00 plus $20.00 tip.  yesterday. (I was informed by your employee at My last appointment that is appropriate time to come back, if I didn't do your membership plan.)       You gave me a service that you agree doesn't look right. Told me to come in and you'd fix it.  Then told me it's My Fault. This is unacceptable, that I have to pay more ? After continuously being told this MY FAULT.      Another lady came out  Never introducing herself as the manager. (poor communication) I find that out before walking out.   The manager then said this is MY FAULT again. Unbelievable. If I would of come in earlier than 3 1/2 weeks.  My fill would look right. Clearly it does not.        After rudely being told this was my fault again and again. Then I was told well,  I heard the girl on the phone... she said yes come back in for a correction. I'm just "Trying to Educate you".  Excuse me... Educate me ?  (as the manager stands there and pats her on the back and says it's ok)       How would I a new customer that you visually see the lashes are not up to par and you've agreed it doesn't look the same.  You want to Educated me.         This is whole experience is the rudest and most unprofessional thing I've experienced.         I am the customer.  To which your employee already said yes your lashes do not look right.  Your manager, employee and employee on the phone.  Have poor communication skills .  I Need To Be Educated? So, I went today to get what "they" call the Gorgeous lash extensions. Keep in mind that there is no such "lash style" in the lash industry. This is a made up term by the company. The cosmetologist was nice and loves what she does but like MOST of the techs that work at Amazing Lash Studio - they are all NEW at Eyelash extensions. Right away, I could tell that she has not had any basic "theory" in eyelash design. Her work was "ok" but it looked like I just put a ton of mascara on. Which is typical of a lash tech who has only been at it for a year or less. Professional Eyelash extensions are not supposed to look like you have makeup on. They are supposed to look like your NATURAL LASHES but usually darker, thicker, and/or longer so you don't have to wear mascara...big difference. For some reason... cosmetologists do not learn this in school....but they need too before they graduate and especially before they get licensed!!! The general public should NOT have to pay for learners / beginners. While I would definitely support NEW lash techs, I would not pay $59 plus for it. Cosmetology schools charge very little like 10 to 30 dollars to the public for their students to practice/learn on. The same should be applied here to inexperienced/ new lash technicians. To be good at lash extensions...your talking about at least 2 years with a thousand + hours of practice and have a strong understanding of lash theory. Cosmetology Schools should be teaching this..but they don't. Lash extensions, good ones, are going to run you well over 150 to 200 dollars and up. Yes, people, these are for people who have $$ to spend! Good ones anyway. Finally, my experience was not that bad. However, I am concerned of the large amount of NEGATIVE feedback at Amazing Lash Studios. In some cases.. it is justified. The companies position in the lash industry actually hurts this industry and it leaves a lot of people driven away from lash extensions. Similar to the nail salon industry, the general public is misinformed. I am also concerned about Amazing Lash Studio's "disinfection" protocols. I did not see any Barbicide PLUS or Cavicide to soak the metal implements (lash tweezers) in the rooms where the lash techs work. This is a HUGE Concern that needs to be REPORTED to the TN Cosmetology Board...NOT the BBB. If they are not disinfecting their tools in between EACH CLIENT then it will result in the transfer of Eye infections. **You can FILE HERE on the Company itself: tn.gov/commerce/topic/co... Training cosmetologists should be the responsibility of Cosmetology Schools to financially shoulder inexperienced lash technicians NOT a private company making the consumer pay for it. read more

Never go here!! 0 stars is what it should be. The lashes they use are cheap Synthetic lashes. They are very heavy and not flexible which causes breakage to your own lashes. They will tell you they can do "Mink" lashes for $20 more. You never get the same stylist. There is ALWAYS someone new working very month. So most likely you will have someone doing your lashes who has not been doing it long at all. They don't care about you or the health of your lashes. They just care about getting your money. Never going back to this place again. There's was a huge miscommunication with booking my appointment to get my lashes done. I went in for my appointment thinking it was booked for that day but apparently the "owner" book it for the following week instead. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. My stylist first called out 5 minutes before my appointment so I had to drive 30 minutes back home. I understood and made an appointment to come back the next day. They graciously gave me $10 off my lashes, which I guess was better than nothing. I then went back the next day & had a generally easy session. HOWEVER, the next day came and I noticed my bottom lash was glued to one of my top lashes and my right eye was constantly swollen, red, and watering. I thought maybe this was due to not having them on in a while UNTIL I literally couldn't see out of my eye and had to make an opponent with an optometrist. I immediately went to the studio the next day to get them off. After I explained everything and showed them pictures - they said I had to wait 5 hours. So I went back and got them off, explained to the stylist what happened and she led me to believe I would get a refund. Then she said I should talk to the manager. This manager was the most inconsiderate, rude, and uncaring man I have ever met. I explained in detail everything that happened and showed him pictures and he basically said the whole thing was my fault. Didn't care to really explain past that and just said irritation happens, which I understand, BUT my other eye was completely fine. He offered to do another set - the most idiotic proposal ever. Overall, my experience was terrible, the ladies were very forceful in trying to get me to buy their products and memberships, and I will never go back. Im not sure why I didn't listen to people warning me to stay away, it's fine. But I now have saved several people from enduring the pain and unfortunate circumstances I did. BEWARE , DO NOT LET THIS PLACE PUT LASHES ON YOU! A friend of mine had lashes place on a Tuesday and the next morning her eyes were swollen, crusty shut. She called them and they said they would take them off for free that she had an allergic reaction to the primer or glue. She had them removed and they were stunned when they saw her and said no one has ever had a reaction like that before from the glue/primer. Come to find out she was infected with conjunctivitis from dirty hands (no sinks in the rooms) and/or contaminated instruments, lashes. She was place on CIrpro eye drops by her MD. No management call her or reached out to make thing right. No one cares here, they are to busy looking to make money with contracts immediately and not making sure of a clean environment and that clients can tolerate lashes. The staff also refused to give the licence number of the esthetician or office that was issued by the state licensing board. This is a sketchy place. Several people witness her eyes that were infected and painful while in the office. They will be leaving google reviews as will the person this happened too, when she is able to see better. This is an awful place not even to reach out to her. That's ok because they will get a reach out from a law office. read more

She was great and very thorough and I even fell asleep! The studio was comfortable and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend Amazing Lash and I will be coming back.
