As a new comer, the staff was welcoming and helpful in ensuring I knew the basics and recommended routes to take that would be beneficial for a beginner and definitely had fun doing so. They also have military, student, or first responder discounts and that includes admissions, shoes, and harness; price was very fair. This place certainly had a wide array of equipment for even power lifting, ninja warrior stations, bouldering walls, and plenty of rock walls. You do have to be certified by them to belay on your own, so I stuck with the auto belay walls; just wish there were a little more selection of auto belay walls. Overall, I had a great time and rather you're a beginner or experienced, highly recommend this place if you're into bouldering or wall climbing.

This climbing center is the most kid/beginner-friendly place I've been to so far! Most climbing…read morecenters tend to be overwhelming at first for me as a beginner climber because of the huge walls but the walls here aren't as intimidating. There is a designated kid area with really easy climbs so bring your kids here for exercise or birthday party!! There is also a table tennis and conditioning areas which I use when I'm too tired to climb. I do wish the bouldering area was bigger and had more beginner friendly routes but it might be that i'm just really weak lol. The day pass and the membership price are average for climbing, overpriced if you are expecting gym membership price but so worth it if you like climbing. Overall, an amazing place to visit with your family in the Augusta area!

    Apexx Fitness Summer Camp

The Apexx summer camp is a sham. We were promised that our child would be well taken care of,…read morelearn, have fun, and be in a safe, healthy, supportive environment. Everything was a major disappointment and a lie. The $200+ per week "camp" is in an empty dirty dollar store in the Galleria mall. The only contents of the dirty dollar store is dirty peeling-up carpet, which is a safety hazard and randomly placed support poles. Before signing our child up for 2 weeks of hell, we were told that the place was undergoing a major renovation to paint, clean, replace the floor, and build out stations. None of that happened. Kids sit and lay on the dirty carpet. They spend a large amount of time in isolation in "quiet time" or timeout, with no reason. We were told that the camp had specialist able to work with non-neurotypical children. Instead there are groups on young teenagers that spend their time playing on their phones, yelling at the kids to be quiet, sit down, and go to time out. The kids change from day to day so there is no consistent person in charge to speak to. They give no communication about how our child is doing. We informed them that our child has special needs, and they did not know or care, even though we previously informed the camp. On Thursday's they have a field trip that costs an additional $15. One was to a skating center, admission is $5, the other $10 goes back to Apexx. My child was given no coaching or support. He never skated before, so he needed help. They did not try to teach him or offer him a support. Instead they refused to help him and let him run off to go climb around wherever he wanted, unsupervised. On Friday's they have a $6 surcharge for a slice of pizza, cookie, and bottle water. We paid cash for these add-ons, but they stored our information and charged our credit card without authorization, including an additional $1.99 charge for the inconvenience of them performing this unauthorized charge. My child did not bring home any crafts or anything from the camp other than germs, bad attitude, and sadness. Our child begged to not go back each day, so we ended up skipping two of the ten days we paid for. Then on the last day, I decided to give it one more try. I walked around to the mall side where you can watch the kids in the dirty dollar store and saw that every kid was sitting alone and not allowed to talk or move. Within 10 minutes of bringing him, I went back and took him out. We were extremely disappointed in this experience. There was no support, the activities were almost non-existent, they did not show care, the facility was dirty and uncared for, my child did not have fun. We asked for a refund after the second day and they just said all sales are final. AVOID this summer camp in the Galleria mall with Apexx, it is full of lies.
