AN EXPERIENCE BEST DESCRIBED AS A NIGHTMARE! PLEASE READ…read more My Son started Daycare at DZK on February 7, 2022. It was a cold bright morning when I dropped my Son off at the 2 year old class and he greeted his teacher with a hug. As it was his first time, I expressed that I was a bit nervous. The Lady at the front desk assured me that he will be fine and I could call later to check on him. I called 2hrs after dropping him off and twice subsequently 1hr apart before someone picked up and took the phone to his teacher. His teacher said he was ok just that he didn't particularly eat his lunch. 45minutes later I was called and told my son hit an infant and a staff had just quit on them so they couldn't care for my son and he shouldn't return. I asked if their rejection of my son was because he hit an infant or because they were short staffed? She replied it was because they were short staffed and that every child that started that day, February 7, 2022, was asked not to return. I then inquired to know if an infant was supposed to be in my son's class, 2 year old class ( BTW this was at 3:45pm) and she said both 2 year olds and infants were all in the same class because of their staffing issues. When I came to pick up my son, his teacher, Kourtney, brought him to me and said, " He cried, but towards the end of the day he seemed adjusted to his class." She never mentioned my son hitting an infant and she added, "He'll get better as the days go by. Kourtney beckoned on the director, Ms. Soni, to come speak with me as she didn't understand what was going on. The director said the reason for asking me not to bring him back was because it was difficult to change his diaper and they didn't have enough hands to care for my Son. Her story, that of the woman at the front desk who called me and the teacher's were as different as light and day. This is not a place for kids. So much lies, lack of integrity, poor staffing etc!!! It's all about giving kids the least amount of care and charging one of the highest fees. RUN, RUN! Now I believe all the bad reviews which I raised concerns over and was told they were from fired staff. During our tour, I asked the lady at the front desk about any emergency situation they had and she said it was an infant who fell, hit his head on the locker and was rushed to the emergency. This makes sense now, the poor staffing and lack of adequate supervision. How do you care for kids with zilch patience and poor staffing.

Horrible experience! The director is extremely ill mannered,…read moreshrewd and with zero integrity. We took the pain of enrolling our 2 year old child in this center. My child has a delayed speech development and at the moment, he communicates mainly with gestures. This was communicated to the center prior to his enrollment. It was his first time in Daycare. He was dropped off at about 9:40AM and he greeted his teacher with a hug. In the afternoon, my wife called in to find out how he was coping and his teacher reported that he did not eat his lunch and that he cried a little. We felt that was okay considering that it was his first day. 45min later, my wife got a call stating that my child should not return. When she inquired, she got different answers from the teacher, the assistant director and the director, ranging from difficulty with changing his diaper, to short staffing, to my child hitting an infant. When we asked what an infant was doing in 2-year old class, we were told that they put them all together because of staffing issues. I met with the director the following day and she told me they rejected my child on his first day because they figured it was going to be 'difficult' for them to care for my child. They gave my child no opportunity! That answer to me was filled with prejudice. Apparently, the owner of this daycare is a shrewd woman who is only interested in charging high rates with no staffing and zero intent of helping the community.
