Bryan accepted my deposit but did not finish the work. After 6 weeks the ground was freezing so I…read morefinish some myself and the rest I paid someone else to do it. He refuses still to refund the money for the work but completed. I know he was down sick for a while, but that doesn't mean I should pay for work not completed. Of the almost $4,000 quote I paid 50% deposit, but only a hole and trench were dug and I had to repair the sprinkler lines and fill in the hole and trench at my cost. I want $1000 of my deposit back and I think that is more than fair since not a single thing on the quote was completed. If he refunds the money I'll update this review.

The gutters he was hired to install were never completed and then ones in progress are not even attached to the house properly. He replaced some hardiplank boards but never replaced the flashing so my house was exposed all winter. Additionally he was supposed to install Gutter Guards and never did any of that. I paid him most of his estimate as he was making progress and he said Christmas was coming and cash was tight. Despite literally dozens and texts, phone calls and promises from Bryan he never showed back up to complete and/or fix his work. Beware he may seem honest but that is far from the truth. Now I need to take him to Small Claims court. So sad! Beware!

What stood out most was how well everything was put together. The finished work looked intentional and clean, not patched or improvised. You can tell he takes pride in doing things the right way, not just getting in and out as fast as possible. Honesty also matters, and that showed throughout the process. There was no upselling, no vague explanations, no surprises at the end. Just straightforward assessment, realistic expectations, and follow-through that matched what was promised. It's refreshing to work with someone who treats craftsmanship and integrity as non-negotiables. RL HandyPro delivers reliable, high-quality work and backs it up with professionalism and respect for the client's time and space. Very impressed, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for dependable, skilled work done right the first time.

He does not goof around,…read moretrying to run up the clock for extra money, and was very honest in his pricing and assessment of what things would and should cost. All of which is to be expected in a handyman. But here's where he earned five stars and then some. We had a plumber over at the same time to replace a toilet. Would have cost us upwards of $500 all in, and we were only replacing it on the plumber's recommendation. Fortunately Russ was there, and while he was a professional and didn't step on the other guys toes, I noticed he seemed like he wanted to say something. So after talking to him, I learned that a toilet replacement is not at all difficult, and nor is a rebuild, and he would be happy to do either for just his hourly rate. So we replaced the toilet for less than half the price the plumber wanted. Honest, hard-working, and dependable, and above all with our interests in mind.
