I had the opportunity to visit this food truck and ordered a combo meal that included 1 catfish fillet, 3 wings, fries, coleslaw, and pickles. I was genuinely hoping to have a great experience and leave a positive review, but unfortunately, that was not the case.
The chicken wings were overcooked, dry, tough, and lacked seasoning. The catfish appeared to be poor quality, with a fishy taste and more fatty pieces than actual fish. The fries were dry, overcooked, and not served hot. The coleslaw looked watery and mushy, so I chose not to eat it. Even the slice of bread included with the meal was hard and stale.
I also tried the egg rolls, but for the price, I did not feel they were worth it and found them lacking in flavor. Overall, the food seemed overly greasy, and the grease itself tasted old, which affected the taste of everything.
Considering the quality of the food, I do not feel the meal was worth the $40 price tag. I always try to support Black-owned businesses and truly wanted to enjoy this experience, but based on the food and value received, I would not return.
I hope this feedback is taken as constructive criticism and used to improve the overall quality and consistency of the food. read more
