    Drunken noodles
    Belle A.

We came here for the lunch special today at 2pm on Friday. It was fairly crowded. When it got time to order, the server informed us that the appetizer wings were out. I don't know why she didn't just tell us that at the beginning, so we got the other 2 salad appetizers. Bummer but whatever. Things went a little more downhill from there. I ordered the drunken noodles spice level 2/5. I usually get a higher spice level but I was trying to be cautious from previous experiences at other Thai places. I wish I had gone at least a 3 because there was no spice at all! To be honest, it didn't taste like a usual drunken noodle dish, tasted more like pad see ew. Even after coming home, I actually believe they accidentally gave me a pad see ew instead of drunken noodles. Looking at other pics of drunken noodle dishes, they have more color and even peppers! You can see that my pic had none of that. My partner got the spicy basil chicken at a spice level 2 as well and it wasn't spicy at all. It was only ok. Also, service was kind of lacking. I saw the server only twice (which includes her taking our order and then giving the check). I wanted to ask for chili flakes to add some oomph to my noodles but nope! The dumpling dessert was at least pretty good. I wouldn't do their lunch special anymore.

I happened to stop by after work to try out their lunch special. It was really busy. (10/10) Service: my server was amazing. I'm not sure her name but she wears glasses and was really attentive. She fill out water on time and brought me to go box even before I ask. (8/10) Fish sauce wings: it tastes good, but it's a bit oily and for some reason, one of them was super cold while the other two are warm. (3/10) Chicken Pad Thai: pad thai is always my go to for Thai food but this pad thai tastes really bad. It is really sour and noodle is hard. I can barely found eggs inside the dish. (10/10) Black Sesame Dumplings: absolute delicious! I would definitely come back again just for this.

My daughter found Amata from Tik Tok. Good food but small portions and a tad on the pricey side. You are paying for the vibes. We came on Mother's Day with a party of 6. We started with their Signature sangria. It was good, albeit more ice than actual sangria. We ended up ordering two pitchers. We also got the lao papaya salad, black pepper tenderloin beef, pad see ew with chicken, branzino with sweet chili sauce and short rib fried rice. We had also ordered the duck curry, but that never came and we were not charged for it. The portions are small. When we usually go to thai, we have leftovers, but not at Amata. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff was really friendly. If you want a more modern thai experience, Amata is the place.

    Pad thai with chicken. Delicious!

Came in when I noticed that this place had opened near the gym I was at Was empty so we were seated promptly and ordered some beers Menu is small has a good variety of items. Went with my Thai staple when trying a new place. Chicken pad Thai at a 3/5 spice level. Food came out quick and I dove in. Was very tasty and just spicy enough. Really tasty and served with a tray of spices, lime and crushed peanuts Ordered the crab noodle dish to go for my wife and she loved it. I tried a bite and was very good. Nice inside, very bright with lots of seating Will definitely try again!

One of the best new Thai restaurant awards goes to Amata. I had this place bookmarked for a few months and finally got to try it this weekend. It is known that the restaurant is led by executive chef Pinyo Saewu from Hakkasan, and you can clearly see his modern and fusion influence in the cooking. Ambiance: 4/5 The space has a nice casual design with pops of color from the velvet chairs. I like how bright and lively it feels before dark, then it transitions into a more elevated and intimate vibe in the evening. Service: 5/5 Our server was courteous, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. Food: 4/5 We started with the tom yum soup and bone marrow with roti, both were outstanding. The flavors were bold, rich, and well executed. Next, we had the soft shell crab curry, which was excellent, and the pad kee mao with tofu, which unfortunately fell short. The dish had too few noodles and was overly salty, with a noticeably too much dark soy sauce. We asked to add extra noodles after, which they accommodated, but there was an additional charge. It still didn't taste right after. Overall, most of the dishes were delicious and flavorful. The main reason I could not give a full 5 stars is that the food seemed heavy on MSG. Everyone at the table felt unusually thirsty afterward, even into the next day, and one of my friends even experienced a headache, likely from MSG dehydration or sensitivity. I would still come back and would request no MSG if that is an option.

Amata Modern Thai is not just dinner... it's a whole experience. First off, the space is BEAUTIFUL. Warm lighting, modern wood finishes, greenery, and those velvet chairs it feels upscale but still relaxed. You can literally see into the kitchen which adds to the whole "they know what they're doing" energy. Now the food... let's talk about it Everything we ordered was next level. The noodles were rich, saucy, and perfectly cooked not too heavy, just packed with flavor. The crab dish (!!!) was insanely good creamy, savory, and layered with texture. You can tell these aren't basic, one-note dishes... there's real depth here. The spring rolls were crispy, fresh, and not greasy at all (a rare win), and even the presentation felt intentional nothing sloppy, everything plated like it matters. What really stood out though? Balance. Nothing was overpowering. Every dish had that perfect mix of sweet, salty, savory, and a little heat exactly what you want from Thai food done right. Elevated, modern atmosphere Thoughtfully plated dishes Bold but balanced flavors Fresh ingredients you can actually taste This is the kind of place you go when you want to feel like you're treating yourself without it being over the top. Definitely coming back and next time I'm ordering even

I went with my family to try out this newer Thai place. The vibes were rly nice, clean and somewhat classy. Service was quick, our water got refilled frequently. However the food was okay to me. I felt like I expected a bit more given the nice decor and interior design. Parking was easy when I went. Pad Thai 6/10: this pad Thai was a bit too much on the sour side to me. It think I could've improved if there was a bit more sweetness to it. The noodles were good and chewy but flavor was lacking a bit for me. Drunken noodles 6.5/10: also nothing too special. The beef was soft tho at least. Not sure why the flavor profile still felt lacking to me. Truffle fried rice 9/10: this was probably my favorite dish. Despite its simplicity the aroma that came from the rice was so nice. The rice that was use was almost like sticky rice which made the texture a bit chewy. It was unique and I enjoyed it. Cripsy prawns 7/10: I felt like the shrimp was fresh but the sauce it came with was not that flavorful. It just tasted sour to me without much savoriness. The cripsy remnants were the most flavorful part to me and I enjoyed the crunch. Crispy rice salad 6/10: this one also wasn't that much of a stand out to me. Again same thing, I felt like it was lacking the umami I was expecting. Basil Eggplant tofu: 6/10: I felt like the tofu did not have the chance to soak up the flavor. The eggplant did have that flavor get soaked so that was better. But overall the dish didn't wow me. Overall I felt like the food was okay, nothing super special, but nothing horrible either. Service and ambiance were very nice tho.

THE best Thai food in the U.S.!! I've eaten Thai food all over the country and many places are very good. Amata is exceptionally great! We started with the traditional Thai papaya salad, which was perfect. The flavor was bursting, The main entrees we all had Pad See Ew -- beef, chicken and shrimp. We ALL felt it was amazing! The sauce was so flavorful with a rich consistency. The protein perfectly cooked and the Chinese broccoli crisp. Plus the atmosphere and service were excellent! I wish this place was located near me in Florida.

This review specifically is for a pickup order. I have yet to dine in yet! When I called to place an order via phone, the lady I spoke to was friendly and got my order in quickly. I ordered the chicken pad Thai, and there were two basic options for it--mild spice (which is the default) and no spice. She took the time to explain how spicy the "mild spice" was which was helpful. However, in reality, the spice ended up being more intense than described. I'd say on a range from 1-5 in spice level (5 being spiciest), the default "mild" is around 3 (vs. 1 or 2, which is what I was expecting). The order was ready promptly, exactly within the time frame promised. As far as the actual flavor of the pad thai, it was okay--not great, not bad. There was plenty of chicken and eggs, and the noodles were cooked fine. However; I find the pad thai in Vegas is generally not as good as it is in other places I've had it, like Portland. I'd say this place is on par with the Vegas average though; I've only managed to find one place here that I actually would want to go back to. The pad thai flavors in Vegas tend to be very basic and seem to be lacking a depth in pad thai dishes you'd find elsewhere. But in any case, it wasn't bad at Amata, especially compared to comparable places in the area. I do want to mention though that the serving size is really generous. I was able to get three meals out of this single order (the second meal was really tiny, so maybe two full meals really). One thing I really loved about their take-out order was that it was served in an aluminum tray vs those plastic-lined paper dishes or styrofoam. It's a nice tray that can actually be put in the oven for reheating and even reused! As mentioned before, this review is only for a pick-up order, so I don't have any notes to add about the ambiance. But I will say that if the dine-in service and ambiance are really nice, it's possible this place could be a restaurant I'd rate 5 stars. But based on pick-up alone, it's a solid 4.

Delicious! What a steal for a quick meal during lunchtime hours! Only on weekdays...i forgot to take a pic of the menu but the selections are spectacular dishes. There was only one server running around today, Thursday April 30 during noon, hopefully there will be more help days ahead. I did not get to ask for her name but she's very fit and very attentive. She's also pregnant too, amazing lady-- seating us, taking our orders, pouring & refilling our water throughout the meal while attending to other tables. It was busy! The foods were absolutely delicious. We will definitely come back here again. Took us 30 minutes to drive from Henderson to this location. Totally worth it. It was quick and foods were freshly made to order. Love the black sesame balls with the sugar ginger water, very refreshing after the meal.

Amata Thai Kitchen is a fantastic addition to the area. From the moment we walked in, the space felt upscale and well designed without feeling stuffy. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but it never felt cramped, even on a busy Saturday evening. We came to celebrate my sister's birthday with a party of seven and I was a little worried when we first arrived since there was a constant stream of people coming in and we didn't have a reservation. Luckily they were able to seat us with no problem, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was fantastic from start to finish. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, welcoming. As for the food, we probably ordered around ten dishes and there was not a single miss. Everything that came out was packed with great flavor. The standouts of the evening were the panang curry, the eggplant dish, and the Amata noodles. Each one had bold, elevated flavors that felt both authentic and refined. It's clear this place is already drawing a crowd, and after our meal it's easy to see why. Amata Thai Kitchen delivers great service, beautifully executed dishes, and a dining experience that feels a little special without being over the top.

High quality Thai food and amazing level of service! The menu does not include all the Thai-American classics you might be looking for, but there are a good amount of familiar things, in addition to interesting unique, "modern," and more upscale choices. All the food was super fresh, tasted high quality, and was made with attention to detail and care. We tried the following 3 items this time and they are all 5/5 stars! Pad Krapow (Basil w/ Chicken) Khao Pad Pu (Crab Fried Rice) Penang Curry With Chicken We stuck with more of the classics this time, but will definitely be back to try other menu items. The customer service was almost fine-dining level. The servers are very attentive and friendly. The inside is clean, open, and has a nice ambiance. There is a decent amount of seating. Give this place a try and add this place to your Thai food rotation!

When I heard that one of the chefs of Hakkasan left and ventured on their own off strip, I had to hunt down the restaurant and check it out. This is at a strip mall, but don't let that stop you from going. The place is not that big, but worth the trip. Ambiance was cozy and simple. Wish they had booths but i think that would take too much space. We had the prawns wrapped in crispy noodles like katafi. They were nicely presented and tasted amazing. I had the Golden King Crab Curry. It was amazing! It's supposed to be 1.5 lbs, however, some were mixed in the curry sauce. Wish most of the crab were displayed as toppers, so you get a great visual. But that did t take away from the excellent taste. Hubby got a beef dish that was also good. Beef was tender and seasoned well. Before we placed our orders, I asked what dessert they had. I was told that the only dessert they have is mango sticky rice but they ran out of coconut milk. So, no dessert. I was bummed... But this is where their service shined. As we were finishing our meal, I asked again for dessert just in case something changed. Our server said they were making one just for me! Aside from their attentive service all throughout our meal, they underpromised but over delivered. Now if that is not 5 star service, I don't know what is.

We'd requested a booth when making the reservation and were ushered to a very nice corner location with subdued but adequate overhead lighting. Although there were two large groups in the middle of the restaurant and background music was playing, noise levels were not disruptive, probably due to dampening by to the open ceiling. Overall, the vibe was lively and warm. Started with shopska and melitzano salads and purlenka, all of which were excellent. My companion had a half liter of the house red which, while costing less than one glass of wine at most decent restaurants, was quite drinkable and well complimented the food -- wish more restaurants would offer house wines in carafes. I enjoyed sipping the more traditional rakia throughout the meal. My partner had the beef filet kabobs which were a perfect medium as ordered, tender, well seasoned, with good beef flavor. She also enjoyed the accompanying salad which was extremely fresh. I had the mixed grill with which they graciously substituted a lamb chop for the standard pork chop. All the sausage components were very tasty, especially when complimented with dabs of the included lutenitza. Only negative was that the lamb chop was tough, gristly, and fatty -- I should have stuck with the pork chop. Servings were large, we both were unable to finish our entrees, and departed with leftover boxes. Always room for desert, however, and we devoured the delicious biscuit cake. Final impressions; great place with a lively atmosphere, excellent food and drink at very affordable prices with outstanding service. Already looking forward to our next visit.

We also had boiled potato with herbs dishes as well as Sirloin steak with bones in and those were good as well. We were served 3 different types of salad, Caesar salad, tomatoes with barrata cheese and cucumber with tomatoes salad. I highly recommend the tomatoes with barrata cheese. It was soft and creamy. Their dessert was also the wife's fav. It was similar to tiramisu but isn't. It was soft and creamy. Sorry I don't know the name as all the food were preordered for us and we never saw the menu. Thanks for putting up with us and keeping up with us big bunches! My only disappointment and recommendation is that they serve proper Moscato wine. My wife asked if they have moscato wine and was told yes but when she got the glass of wine and sipped it was Reisling. NOT the SAME and for a fancy place she expected the glass to be nicer but it was served in a water goblet type of wine glasses. Short and thick. Walked in to a Bob Marley "Waiting in Vain" cover and already knew the atmosphere was gonna be solid. Didn't even realize they had Filipino dishes on the menu so we had to try the pork sisig. As a Filipino, I'd say it was good, just a little sweeter and heavier on the mayo than what I'm used to, but still enjoyable. We got Combo 1 with 1lb shrimp and 1/2lb crab legs in the signature Cajun medium sauce plus a side of the Cajun coconut sauce. The Cajun coconut was easily the winner for me, actually so good. Shrimp was a little overcooked and harder to peel, but overall still hit the spot. Added one of each add-on too. For starters, the chili BBQ seasoned fries instantly reminded me of Potato Corner, so now I know where to fix that craving late night. The ceviche was also surprisingly one of the better ones I've had, super flavorful and a solid portion for 2 people. Drinks were the lychee margarita and passion fruit margarita, both really good. Only downside was the drinks took a while and we had to remind our waitress since our food came out before they did. Overall though, the atmosphere, music, food variety, and late night vibe definitely made this place worth it. Would come back again!

We ordered seafood with Cajun mild seasoning and everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. What we really appreciated was that all the seafood tools--bib, gloves, and crab crackers--were already prepared and neatly placed in a serving container for us. We didn't even have to ask. Such a thoughtful touch! The atmosphere is fun and lively. Inside, they have a karaoke bar where you can sing if you want, and there's also a live band at night, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends and family. Everyone working there was welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we even added orders to go. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place!
