Sorry- won't do the test... they play off obvious signs of life threatening illness and tell you to make an appointment for out patient care. THEN they can address it. I pray none of you experience what I did and end up losing your mom; your best friend or otherwise like I did.

My husband wanted to take me to the doctor to get seen because I haven't been feeling well for the past couple of days. We got there at 10:00 am and I expected a long wait in the waiting room. I updated paperwork with my new married name and turned it in to the front desk. The front desk obviously did not update my information because I was continuously called by my maiden name, which caused confusion. I told the nurse that my name should be updated now according to my insurance. I did not get a response from her. Then when the doctor came in to take a look she kept saying "it is not Covid. I will test you for the flu. I can test you for covid but I do not recommend it cause it will come back negative." I trusted this doctors word. My husband was alarmed because I was showing symptoms of covid even though they are mild (thank the Lord) but we allowed the flu test. The tech came in to administer the flu test and then said it would be a couple of minutes. After 1 hour and 15 min I asked my husband to please check at the nurses station for the test and he came back saying the nurse was "working on it". No one came to check on us or tell us if we were next to have our test results done. I understand the healthcare system is very overloaded and I appreciate/respect all doctors, nurses, and medical professionals. However, we ended up waiting in that exam room for 2 hours without anyone coming to speak with us about my test. When I asked another nurse to please check I told her that they had my name wrong in the system so it could be my maiden name or my married name. The doctor came back into the room and responded "oh it's you." And darted back to find my test results. It ended up being that my results were just laying in a pile and no one had come to check on us. The doctor came back and said my flu test was negative but she did not recommend I have a covid test taken. We left very upset and went to another office called urgent MD and was treated within 30 min of being there and was out by another 20 min. It turns out I am positive for the covid virus. The bottom line is I trusted that doctor at this office to make a diagnosis and to help me get well. But because of miscommunication and no follow up I could have infected hundreds of people at my job, grocery store, and etc. The doctor was somewhat apologetic like I said but I feel as though I was not treated correctly because I did not have severe symptoms. However without proper treatment I could have really developed bad symptoms and also infected many people.

I want to start by saying that I've been to Peaceful Warrior multiple times over the past few years…read moreand have always had pleasant experiences. Typically, I've only seen one woman working there, who I believe is the owner. She has always been warm, welcoming, and happy to answer questions. She even helped my mom and me pick out herbs to support my PCOS, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, my visit today was not as positive. When I entered, the woman working was friendly, but the energy felt a bit off--something I wouldn't normally hold much weight against on its own. My main concern came at checkout. I came in specifically to purchase oracle decks and found a few decks I liked. One deck, in particular, had a handwritten sticker clearly marked at $17. The other decks had barcodes with prices printed directly on the boxes. When I checked out, the total was much higher than expected, but I was distracted at the register and didn't question it at the moment. Once I got home, I checked my receipt and realized that the deck marked $17 had been rung up as $42. When I checked the box, the price sticker was no longer there. This felt very intentional, especially since I've shopped here many times and know that nearly every item is clearly priced, either with a barcode or a handwritten sticker. The only reason I purchased that particular deck was because it was marked $17. I felt taken advantage of and honestly insulted. I came to this store not only for the products, but also for the sense of sanctuary and positive energy it usually provides. It's really unfortunate, because I've always had positive experiences here and it was even recommended to me by my therapist as part of my spiritual journey. I've enjoyed every purchase I've made in the past. However, this experience was enough to make me decide not to return. I would just encourage others to be mindful of the energy when entering spaces like this and to pay close attention at checkout to ensure items are rung up correctly.

I had come in and made a purchase as I had overheard(eavesdrop) about almond or some other oil being available. I asked a couple of questions about some other issues I had and left after a pleasant purchase and visit. I was beyond surprised when she called me back following up on what we had spoken about. I PROMISE you Apple, LG, GNC or any other of a number of those big name brands will not check on their customers. I appreciate/salute small business owners, especially those that treat their customers with respect and show their appreciation! Thank you!
