I had acupuncture before so I was not new to the treatment. I was told it was my liver causing my problems. I was also told that the doctor would request a panel of blood tests at the end of treatment in March but that I would have to pay for it. I was in total agreement. I was also told that I would have a final 30 minute sit down with the doctor at the end of my treatment. That is the only thing that happened and he kept looking at the clock over my head the whole time. When I asked for a comparison of the the pictures he took of my tongue at the beginning and what the pictures might look like now, he stated that the pictures must be on another phone but all of a sudden he found pictures. His practice is not what it claims to be. Buyer beware. He gave (I bought) me supplements and herbs and would not answer my questions about them when I asked. At this point it felt very unsafe but I had already paid $3,047.00. Money that I had to take from my savings. This office is a total rip off. Don't waste your time and money. I also tried to reach out to Dr. Sherrell by letter and no response. When you leave the office at the end of your treatment, his assistant handed me a postcard and asked me to leave a 5 star review. After picking out my frames I did get my lenses and price for them, a bit expensive due to them not accepting my EyeMed insurance, which was an error on my part reading the wrong location online. That is the only negative aspect of this was them not accepting my eye insurance. They seem to work with everyone, insurance or not, to get a better price than the base price. I was there long enough to see and hear interactions with other customers and I wasn't the only one who was waited on quickly and helped throughout their process. I picked up my glasses a few day's earlier than anticipated, Sally who assisted me did say it would be less than two weeks. She was great by the way! I was assisted immediately walking in even though he was already helping other people and another person walked in also behind me and was greeted just as nicely. This employee seemed to be the only one there at the time but still was helpful and very nice. My glasses fit great which is such a relief after a couple of years of glasses being such a mess. Last week, after a week of intense back pain caused by an injury, I found myself on the floor at 2am, unable to move as the muscles in my back were seizing. My husband picked me up and I told him I was not sure I could keep going with the intensity of that pain and I was prepared to go to the hospital. My daughter who lives abroad suggested acupuncture. I was afraid of needles and unsure, but when the painkillers began to do nothing? I was begging for the first appointment with Dr. Cho. AMAZED. I went from being pulled off the floor to completely fine and back at work as a realtor/stager, climbing ladders at my 1869 listing, minutes after my treatment. 1. The "needles" don't hurt. More like if a toddler was playing doctor with toothpicks on your back. No "zing" feel. 2. Read up on the procedures as this is a very quiet and focused thing without lots of explanation. I had the acupuncture needles, then a few were electrified (not painful), then cupping, then strong massage with a tool. Expect to stay 1.5 hours or so. I then got up, felt no pain, tied my own shoes, and went to work! (Gobsmacked.) I remain fine! I was also given tea to drink three times a day and returned today for a follow up to see how I did with my "homework" exercises to strengthen the affected area. (I like to know what to expect. You will have a hospital gown and wear just your undergarments, bra clasp needs to be in back. No socks and shoes.). It is a very kind practice and my result was amazing...it allowed me to finish staging my listing and do a photo shoot....6 hours on my feet, hauling things...like the injury never even happened. I have been going to see Dr. Cho for a couple of weeks now. I went for lower back pain, which has been constant also some shoulder and knee pain. He gave me acupuncture and two other methods for the pain and I am so thankful. I can now go for days without pain and finally sleep better at night. He is very caring and kind.
