After enduring unbearable pain, and making several phone calls expressing my concerns, requesting for appointments or some type of antibiotics for treatment which may have resulted in some relief of the pain, I was told that a deep cleaning SHOULD help with the pain. Finally on April 12,2026, weeks of discomfort and denial of assistance, I contacted an emergency dental clinic, was seen immediately and the diagnosis was I needed a root canal and antibiotics. I asked if we could meet in the middle to preserve the relationship (something their web presence says they value), but she was unable to come to an equitable resolution for me. They may have received their cash payment for $165, but will lose out on thousands of dollars worth of future claims payments from my insurer because they were unable/unwilling to compromise with a long-standing, reliable patient. With all that said, I will miss Dr. Davenport and I wish her well. I hope her office management team learns to see the bigger picture when it comes to preserving patient relationships, especially when the amount in question is so paltry in the long run.
