She sent in a trainee to give me a new medication that I was very hesitant to accept from someone who didn't even read my medical history to know that would not be the safest medication for someone with one kidney. Zimmer didn't even step in the room to see me or discuss the new medication. I tried to pay the co-pay when I got to the appointment but they declined. I rec'd a bill and paid my bill via mail, using and FSA debit card, and when I was charged for more than the bill indicated, or that I signed for, I called to ask for the corrected documentation. The accounts person was so combative I finally had to end the call with no resolution. Right from the start she was unwilling to listen to the problem and work with me to find a resolution. All I needed was a new invoice with the amount they charged my card to send in for the FSA, it's a legal requirement (thanks gov't). The person said that's not possible b/c they don't do any of their own invoicing. They don't even process their own credit cards, they are completed by a third party! When I explained that I didn't sign the invoice/bill statement to be charged a different amount (isn't this somehow against the law?) she just yelled and continued to repeat herself that I didn't understand. WOW! Don't think I have ever had such a horrible experience with someone who is supposed to be in a service role, ever. Should have listened to my gut from the first call when trying to set an appointment, b/c that person was also very curt and devoid of human kindness, and chosen another practice. In summary, find a practice with their act together. Your medical care is too important to be entrusted to a badly managed practice, with hostile employees.

She coached me on how I could adjust thought patterns, encouraged me to consider other ways to view or approach situations by asking questions, and introduced me to various calming techniques. She also helped me to find a low-dose anxiety medication that works well for me, even though I was initially apprehensive about trying it. I would highly recommend working with Regina, as she is very understanding, responsive, compassionate, and easy to talk to. It's apparent that she truly cares about her patients' well-being.

The woman told me that they were at capacity and they can't see anymore patients. My car plus one additional truck were the only cars in the parking lot. She lied just so she could leave work early and made use drive to Spokane. The ER in Spokane told us that is a common story they hear. Terrible, uncaring people. Once we arrived at a facility in Spokane we waited for 90 minutes before we were seen. Then it took the provider about 10 minutes from start to finish to resolve this. We could have been in and out of the facility in Deer Park 30 minutes before closing time.

My name was mispelled, I received no results. My primary physican received no test results. I am being billed for non-payment now as Delinquent. My insurance can't process my claim because my patient name was misspelled. I did discuss this with a billing representative for the practice. I contacted one clinic practioner's receptionist today to request a note be sent to the billing department. I hope for better care for all of us in this community and our visitors!

My husband (Jonathan) found Direct Medical Care. I was suspicious because it seemed too easy. I made a profile online, and requested an appointment. The office actually saw my profile and knew who I was when I called....and... they fit me in that day, even though their schedule was full. I was seen by Matt (NP), and he was thorough, direct, and personable. I never write reviews, but I was so impressed that medicine was actually geared towards, me, the patient, and my comfort...not satisfying the limiting insurance rules, or waiting 8 hours in urgent care for something that should take 1 hour, at most. Yay! I am a fan!
