I asked him to open up an attic access in the kitchen ceiling, but he suggested to do the attic access in the hallway instead where it would not be an eyesore. Great idea! Also, he reminded me that after putting in the drywall in the garage, that the City Building and Planning department first needs to do a Rough Inspection, before they can proceed with putting fire tape on fire rated drywall seams. That saved be some time by ordering the inspection early on, because the City inspectors are backed up big time. Two great suggestions! His estimate is also very competitive out of 3 other estimate I got. Pena Drywall is highly recommended!

Jimmy came out twice to give us an estimate and was very honest about the situation -- he ultimately declined the job because the previous contractor had installed the drywall incorrectly and the work was in poor condition. Even after that, Jimmy generously took the time to advise us on how the original contractor could fix the issues and suggested a plan to correct it more efficiently. He never charged us for his time and was simply trying to help. That level of honesty and willingness to help is rare. Thanks again Jimmy!

Ronnie is honest, kind and knowledgeable - he told us we likely had an issue with water leaking through the shower door track. He recommended a handyman when we asked who could help replace our shower door. Once we addressed the source of the leak, Ronnie came back. Had a small hole cut in the wall to confirm the surrounding wood & drywall didn't have mold or extensive damage, which was a huge relief. He showed us pictures as well. Hole was patched up within hours. He and Diego let us know when everything would be dry and ready for prime and paint (which we did ourselves). He even sent us a thank you note in the mail afterward :) If you're looking for an honest professional, then highly recommend Hole in the Wall. Thanks Ronnie!

Victor was very professional and meticulous. He asked if I had any ceiling paint leftover. I told him I didn't, but I did have a picture of the name and bar code of the paint. Upon completion of day 1, Victor stated that he would return in 2 days to allow the mud to dry.
