I asked him a hundred questions that had nothing to do with drywall, and he answered every one of them -- patiently, in plain language, knowing full well I wasn't going to be a paying customer. He pointed out a few things I hadn't thought to look at. Not once did he make me feel small for not knowing. You could tell he wasn't doing it for the job. He was doing it because that's who he is, and because he could tell I was a little over my head. Victor was very professional and meticulous. He asked if I had any ceiling paint leftover. I told him I didn't, but I did have a picture of the name and bar code of the paint. Victor says, perfect, I'll pick up a gallon. He started the repair by laying out canvas drop cloths and taping plastic sheets from the ceiling to the floor. Upon completion of day 1, Victor stated that he would return in 2 days to allow the mud to dry. Victor returned 2 days later with Alex and started the day the same as day 1 (drop cloths and plastic sheets). Victor was able to match the ceiling's texture and the paint was a perfect match.
