Felipe was our pilot and main contact for setting up the flight. He was really personable and professional. Lots of things have to go right for you to be able to fly safely, like a reasonable wind speed and any regulations from the city/FAA so communication is important. Felipe kept us in the loop on all those factors. The flight itself was beautiful. We flew around downtown and the views were amazing. We got right up close to the Sears tower, so close I could see the people inside of it. Felipe also flew over our neighborhood so we could see our house! Our flight was less then 10 minutes long for the one we chose but they do have longer flights (they go off of mileage). The views were stunning and I would definitely recommend. We did end up having to wait quite a bit until our flight even though we arrived on time so that was a bit disappointing.

This is a stunning house/museum located in Schaumburg, Illinois, just minutes from my house. This mid-century modern house was masterfully planned and built by architect Paul Schweikher in 1938 in a former farm field. The grounds are beautifully manicured and maintained. As we turned on the (somewhat obscure) driveway, we were immediately transported back in time. Truly magical. Our docent went out of his way to engage us with not only the details of the house, grounds and construction, but entertained us with stories of the former owners and their friends. You don't want to miss this experience. We will definitely be checking out some of the events planned for this lovely, preserved genius home!
