I've always wanted to visit Chicago and have purposely made a stop over here on my way to Boston in the past and was very impressed of not just how large but nice and clean it was though since it was short I didn't get to see much of it but did get to enjoy a hot dog and deep dish pizza here which yes you can find. From what I understand it's up there being the largest airport in the US and from my arrival believe that as the taxiing to the gate was quite longer than I'm used to but no waiting very efficient and great service taking care of our flight. What was nice is that they have a food court as well not very large but big enough to have a few various establishment along with various other shops and eateries just about everywhere including vending machines for popcorn and boba tea. Some of the signs though I did have a hard time navigating around though that could just be me as I was looking for a lounge only to have passed right by it lol but it is a very crowded airport and happy that we got here early enough to enjoy what it has to offer as the city of Chicago really was a fabulous place to visit and am so happy to check it off my list...but will be back if given the opportunity. Well, many of the businesses were trying to get started with serving breakfast. I ventured over to the American Airlines Admital's Club to gain entry. The Chicago O'Hare terminal has almost everything that you need as a traveler they have restrooms. restaurants, a very popular McDonald's, and even a Starbucks. I couldn't help but notice that the people who work here are very busy doing their jobs, and no one makes eye contact with any passengers. Also, the passengers are very busy getting where they need to go. Luckily everything was clean and tidy on my visit to this airport and I appreciated my time in the American Airlines admirals club. Smooth and safe drive despite all the construction on the Kennedy and we arrived on time. Driver helped unload and made sure we had everything. Sal was responsive and made sure the driver was there. Our flight was delayed but the driver was still there. Same charge and great driver with the car seats strapped in by the fire department. Taxi rate calculators estimated $7-$9 for the ride, so I expected similar cost. We the called back to confirm a car on the way, they took payment. To my surprise it was $36. A second surprise came when the car picking me up was an Uber. So apparently, they used my $36 to book me an $8 Uber ride. The Uber driver was also surprised.
