My experience at Alya was extremely positive! Everyone was so welcoming, I was taken right on time, and Natalya gave me her full attention the entire time (she didn't check her phone once and even denied a phone call from the receptionist). The shampoo chairs were really comfortable on my neck with the extra padding they came with, which is not usually the experience I have with salons. The salon was clean and modern, and parking was super easy. Now onto the more relevant items. Natalya gave me a ton of hair product ideas that I really appreciated and she wasn't trying to sell me on items within the salon. I was the one asking her for advice because my frizzy curls drive me crazy. She listened to what I was looking for color and style wise, and what my frustrations with my hair have been. She also took her time picking out the colors she thought would look best on me. Natalya was extremely easy to talk with and had a very calming energy and presence about her. I was very happy with the resulting natural colors and the fact that Natalya was able to start the color at the very root of my hair. To top it off, she didn't even try to sell me on a cut, which was a welcome change. Natalya was so nice and explained to me the process of getting my hair to where I wanted it. She had to lift the color, highlight, tone and lift the root color. I asked for a balayage with blueish gray. My stylist did not bleach my hair correctly (only got to an orange and not light yellow), dyed my hair, realized that it doesn't look good, tried to remove it, then added more dye. The entire process took about 6 hours. The color was gone within 2 weeks. They were apologetic and offered to buy me food. I would've accepted if they also gave me an estimate for how long the process would take. The only compensation was 20% off... whole process was still over $250. I got my hair redone at a different salon after a month, and they were definitely able to bleach my hair correctly. Would not return. People are nice but I don't think my stylist knows what to do with black hair. She should've informed me instead of let me waste time and money. read more

My experience at Alya Salon was amazing! I was blown away by how pretty and clean the salon was as soon as I walked in. Everyone there was super friendly during my appointment and the atmosphere of the salon is overall great. Natalya gave me a masterpiece of a caramel/honey balayage on my brunette hair. I came in with very long hair that hadn't been colored since 2019, half was virgin hair and the other half was faded black color. Natalya was able to work a miracle on my hair blending the balayage well by adding toner to it. I'll definitely be back in a few months to add more painted pieces and for a hair cut! I recommend this salon to anyone looking for a relaxing environment while getting a fresh look. read more

This is my third time coming to this hair salon and I love it every time I come here! The second time I went there was back in March when Natalya cut my hair to a bob haircut . I told her to cut shorter because half of my hair was longer then the rest of my hair . I trusted her and she cut my hair really short and I loved it :) I could wear my hair curly or straight. The third time I went with my mom and she had Tammy again . Tammy understands my mom's crazy curly hair lol She's very patient with my mom and I , since I'm the one who translates in English to Tammy about the specific cuts that my mom wants. My mom has heavy curly hair so Tammy does a technique for the heavy hair. I think it's called thinning not sure lol so don't quote me on that lol Overall my mom is always happy when we leave the salon. This time around I got my haircut with Nelli and she was awesome! She cut my hair in layers and then blow dry my hair and the results was beautiful ! I recommend this place to one of my coworkers who also has curly hair and she loved the way Nelli cut her hair.
