As I walked over to a table, I noticed that some of the chairs were still on top of their respective tables, and the floor was sticky. I hate sticky floors, and then recalled they were sticky the last time I came here, perhaps a year ago. But my order was in and paid for, so I grabbed a seat. After 10 minutes, I went outside for a few minutes. The three people who were waiting upon my arrival, were still there. Two more had arrived a moment earlier. Five more minutes elapsed, and I peaked inside and noticed nothing had changed. I was in a deli time warp! After a generous 20 minutes, our two sandwiches were ready. They were large, the rolls were soft, they were pretty good. That said, Uptown could benefit from some improved throughput, and a good floor cleaner!
