I worked with Always Impressive for my wedding in September and I could not have been more pleased. My invitations were affordable and they were beautiful! I got many compliments from my guests on how unique and elegant my invitations were. The customer service was excellent, someone always answered my emails right away. I would absolutely recommend Always Impressive to anyone for any occasion! We knew we did not want one of those online-type brush script invitations, and this place did not disappoint. Angela and Maria run the show. They were not only knowledgeable, but they had great ideas and wanted to know as much about the wedding as possible in order to help pick just the right thing. Even once the invitations were printed, Angela gave us great advice about what to do when we bring them to the post office and hand stamping them, which I would never have thought of. Don't bother! My wife and I were not "Impressed." We checked out this store for our wedding invitations and stationery and found the customer service to be very poor. The first strike was when Impressive Creations lost track of an appointment we had made over the phone requiring us to reschedule. Finally got to the store, sat down at one their tables and was told we could look through the many binders of sample wedding stationery they have. Okay, no problem. However, when my wife told one of the women "helping us" that she had a particular flower and theme in mind for the wedding, and that maybe we could find stationery to match, we were told to just look through more binders to see if we could find it. Strike Two! Told them when we left the store that maybe they could look for this flower in their designs or printing company and get back to us, never heard back. Strike Three!!! Ended up going with Roberta Binder of Chedworth Creations in Scarsdale for our wedding stationery (see review). The difference was night and day!!! Roberta took her time helping us come up with completely customized invitations that were beautiful and elegant and incorporated my wife's wedding flower in a fancy blind press design. Roberta runs her business out of her house, not a traditional brick and mortar store, but do not let that dissuade you. She has many years experience in graphic design and puts those skills to use creating totally customized designs instead of cookie cutter templates. She was also 110% responsive to email and, phone calls, always picked up the phone right away, even met up with me late at night after work to accommodate my crazy schedule. I started my search for wedding invitations online (minted) thinking I was gonna be getting a decent quote. My mother convinced me to just take a look at always impressive. We had met them at GreenTree and loved what they had showed at the event. I had it in my head that there was no way I could afford something so beautiful. I sat down with Angela and she showed me exactly what I was dreaming of. The price minted quoted me on for something I was just settling for was just around the same price they quoted me for something I dreamed of. Maria , Angela and Amanda have been nothing but amazing. They made my dreams really come true. I have an invitation so unique and beautiful. I was taught to shop were you live at least try to, give back to your community. I am so rarely inclined to write a review on yelp but I think Maria at Impressive Invites deserves it. I found the store online a few weeks ago and called in a panic. I had just received 200 invitations that I printed overseas, which were not only printed completely wrong, but they arrived six weeks late. I literally had nothing to send and had no time left. When I called Maria and told her about my situation, she immediately told me not to worry-to just swing by her store and she would fix everything (which is exactly what she did). She spent 2 1/2 hours looking for the right sized envelopes and calling the suppliers and begging them to send them right away (which they did). She even told me to run to AI Freidman's before I got there in case she didn't have the right size RSVP cards in stock [because she knew we wouldn't have time to order any]. The best part is that Maria didn't overcharge us or charge a rush fee (which is unforeseen in this industry). The truth is that Maria really didn't make much money on this job because we only needed envelopes and RSVP cards but she never made us feel bad about what we were putting her through and she helped us with a smile on her face the entire time. Maria is an exceptional example of what customer service should be like. I will forever be a customer of Impressive Invites - and, on that note, I heard they just partnered with a full scale DJ company, so I'll be sure to check them out as well, especially if they're anything like Maria. read more

My fiance and I purchased our invitations from here. We had an amazing experience! The invitations are gorgeous! The pricing was very reasonable. We had an issue where the double-sided tape we used to seal the envelopes wasn't fully sticking. We reached out for help and they fixed all of them for us. Maria and Angela from Impressive Invites are two amazingly talented women. My experience in dealing with them for our wedding invitations could not have been more pleasurable. The invitations were amazing! Our guests were calling both of our moms raving about them! Some people loved the glitter ink which is an added feature most custom invitation venues do not offer. Angie and Maria are awesome! They take their time and make you samples that you may not even use but they want to show you how it would look. I was very satisfied with my wedding invitations. The only thing is the price of $1.50 per envelop printing is excessive especially since it's just done on a computer. No need to get the swarovski crystal accents either. Go to AC Moore and buy hundreds for a few bucks. Otherwise, they're the ones to use! read more

I met Maria after seeing the stunning invitation she made for my surprise bridal shower. She is the kind of person who makes you feel like you've been friends with each other for years; very easy going and has worked with so many people on such a wide arrays of projects, that she knows exactly what you need before even you do! Navigating the world of paper is very initimidating when there are so many options available, but Maria made the process an enjoyable one for me, my husband and mother. Together we designed an elegant invitation from the ground up that perfectly complemented the theme of our wedding. She completely dedicated herself to this project and ensuring that everything was perfect, which in turn made us feel like she really cared about us and not just getting a job done. Aside from being a wonderful person, she is a master of her craft, which is evidenced by not only our invitations, but also the church programs and place cards. Always Impressive is absolutely amazing and Maria and her team are so fun to work with! My mom suggested Always Impressive and I had no doubts about using them after meeting them and seeing all the invitations and things they offered. I used them for my wedding invitations and seating chart frame. Maria, and everyone there, offered great suggestions and honest opinions about design, colors etc... it was so helpful as a bride with so many decisions to make! They were so patient and accommodating. I live in DC and would come up to NY for wedding planning (sometimes last minute) and wouldn't have an appt and Maria would always get me in (sometimes stay late) and always got back to my questions and emails. This store is a low budget house of horors. The owner has zero taste and so her invtations are a reflection of her lack of style. I was looking for a top of the line invitation by C'est Papier and she showed me invites that she produces herself. I later learned from 2 well know national manufacturers that she is the last place to look for invites in Westchester. read more

Maria is FANTASTIC! I was actually sad that I couldn't go pick up our programs to see her one last time. She did our invitations, our place cards and our programs for our wedding a few weeks ago. Our invitations (with rsvp cards) were so amazing and she dealt with all my changes and questions without any issues. Our place cards and programs were BEAUTIFUL and tied into our whole theme. She worked with our rushed timeline for the programs too - my husband picked them up the day before :) Her entire staff is so sweet and she stayed late for us numerous times since we live in the city and had to drive up to see her (and all our vendors) whenever we had appointments, etc. She is budget friendly and will work with you on ways to save if you need to. I got her information from Elena at Arcadia Floral and I thanked Elena so much for the recommendation - I will recommend Maria to ANYONE who asks and I hope to use her for any other needs I may have in the future.
