I often arrive with what I'd call "monkey mind", an active to-do list running, lots of thoughts moving at once. Fay's use of sound instruments, her soothing voice, thoughtfully chosen music, and gentle affirmations help bring me back into my body and into the present moment. She weaves in breathwork in a way that feels natural and grounding, and her pacing, pauses, and overall presence create a sense of calm that I can feel both during and after the session. By the end, my mind is quieter, I feel more relaxed, and much more centered. What I especially appreciate about Fay is how she truly curates her sessions for the audience in the room. It's time to put our mental health first! I must say I was, and still am somewhat, a little embarrassed to publicly say I was going to therapy. However, I would never be ashamed of saying I'm going to the doctor, what's different about making sure your mental heath is taken care of too? If I remember correctly I did 5 or 6 treatments with Caasi O'Day, and she has helped me tremendously. Her office is very comfortable, and she is easy to talk to. She never forced me to do or say anything I wasn't comfortable with throughout the session. She spends the true and full amount of time for her session with you and talking about whatever you feel you need to, and she gives you exercises to do when having anxiety. She also recommends good books to read and videos to watch. I know the thought of going to therapy is a little awkward and uncomfortable, but Caasi O'Day immediately made me feel comfortable, and I looked forward to seeing her every other week! I am forever thankful for her help. It was also very easy to schedule an appointment, I just went to their website and found Caasi's email address. We scheduled via email, so she works with you to make things comfortable and convenient.
