Rethink Therapy is awesome. Mental health is so important and I had been neglecting mine for a very long time. The staff is very friendly. When I called the very first time to inquire about therapy, the owner, Nicole was amazing. She took time and care to answer my questions and reassure me that they would be able to work with me to find the best therapist that fits my needs. I knew from that first phone call that I would be in good hands and they have kept their word to help me through the process. Using insurance can be a complete nightmare (Cigna specifically) but Chelsea at Re-think has been very patient and understanding as we all work together to process the insurance claims correctly. It has taken months but everything is finally starting to be resolved. Additionally, my therapist, Madison is amazing. She has been so helpful in working through my issues. I've been seeing her for 4 months and I still have a long way to go but I feel really comfortable with her. We've started doing some EMDR therapy as well and she always seems to have new useful tools to help me overcome some of my anxiety or trauma. I love that they offer in-person visits but can do telehealth online visits as well. Everyone really works together to ensure that everything is running smoothly. I've been seeing Elizabeth for nearly 1 year now. She has been such a tremendous help throughout my postpartum mental health journey. She will always give me all the credit, but truly I give her all the credit. She has impacted my life very positively! She is very kind, professional, and I've never felt as if I have to hold back from saying anything. A judge free zone! I've done EMDR therapy a couple of times which was such an insane help! Not sure where I would be today had I still been carrying all that trauma. There are several offices at the Atrium and I believe it is called the Atrium because the center is open with lots of plants. Brewer Counseling is on the 2nd floor to the left of the Elevator. Plenty of parking and the restrooms are across the covered corridor. I have been seeing Nicole Brewer for a few years, but there are other counselors available in the office. Finding a counselor can be tough because you just need to find someone you are comfortable talking about issues that are sensitive and personal in nature. I am so glad that I found Nicole because she is patient, calm and understanding. At the same time she will gently stop me if I am rambling. She specializes in many things, but something that has really helped me is called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. This kind of therapy is common with post-traumatic stress. I was in a manipulative and abusive relationship and I have been working on regaining proper boundaries with personal and working relationships as well as with my kids. I have been able to grow much stronger as a single mom with her help and I highly recommend her! read more
